Manual, Myr Observer
Name: Myr 80-44-39, “Manual”
Race: Myr
Plane of Origin: Mirrodin, Pre-Phyrexia
First Planeswalk: Zendikar
Colors: None, but can work with any color but green.
Appearance: Manual has two forms in particular- both based on forms of Myr. His first, which he uses from a day-to-day basis, makes him look like the token Myr- small, slightly wonky, but still curious. He also wears a pair of pants in this form as well as a small banner around his waist, and carries a small satchel. His secondary form resembles a Myr Superion, and can only be used for direct combat or heavy-duty activity.
Backstory: To understand Manual, you must understand that none of this was his fault. He was ‘living’ long before he became a planeswalker, at least, by Myr standards. Working as a sentry, his village was on the border between the razorgrass plains and the tangle- so for the Myr, his home was often in need of extra eyes.
His life began the day that he spotted silver out in the sea of razorgrass- some humanoid form, moving around and looking at things. Sneaking up on it, the silver golem almost immediately stopped him, looking down on him with its yellow glowing eyes- before Manual woke up, back at his village. Nobody would believe him that there was someone out there, no matter how much he tried to explain- so after a few weeks, he gave up, opting to simply keep watch. The only advancement to come was a few years later.
As gruesome aberrations bared down upon his village, all Manual could do was flee, running deep into the tangle. All around him, Phyrexians were tearing at Mirrodin, taking away his home. As he made his way into a small clearing in the tangle, Phyrexians closed in- eager to see what this Myr would do next. At this point, Manual was already afraid- but as he looked out over the sea of metal, oil, and flesh melded into one being, he realized what had happened.
This was no longer Mirrodin- this was Phyrexia.
Phyrexian reports of the event say that after the small Myr was cornered, it began to scream and spark- before annihilating itself in a blast of energy, atomizing itself and a few Phyrexians on the spot. But they wouldn’t know what happened. Neither did Manual, until he woke up staring at a very confused Eldrazi Scion.
Making short work of the 1/1, Manual was slowly able to piece together what had happened. He had bellowed his heart out, and was somehow sent away from what once was his home, to a new world called “Zendikar”- which was also under attack from some otherworldly entity. Retrieving a small amount of clothing and a bag, Manual set out. He knew he wouldn’t be able to help here, but the best he could do was attempt to help observe it.
Preferred form of Magic: Manual’s magic is more imprint based- he creates spells and assembles artifacts through mentally assigning them codes, then reciting the code through a series of dials on his fingers, allowing his emitters to recreate the effect.
Character’s strengths: Manual is an accomplished sentry and observer, and due to being mechanical, does not tire or bleed. He CAN feel pain, however. He knows numerous tidbits of lore about the universe and worlds he visits, including little useless things- ranging from “Dominaria has had over 8 listed apocalypses”, to “Hedron crabs are widely regarded by planeswalkers as 'The absolute best’.” Character’s flaws: Manual is emotionally detached from a lot of situations, due to them not mattering to him personally. He can also be forcibly driven to act if someone tells him that they’ll help him with something- say, saving the Myr. But the worst thing about him, the thing that sticks out amongst all other things? He believes people. He automatically assumes that they are telling the truth, as he never had to deal with liars.

Name: Umbral the Uniter and High Chieftain Luciel
Race: Soldautari (original species the Soltari and Dauthi evolved from)
Gender: Umbral is Male and Luciel is Female.
Relationship: Twins
Homeworld: Rala
First walk: Ravnica (Umbral) Theros (Luciel)
Colors: White and Black Primary, Red tertiary for Luciel, Blue tertiary for Umbral
Planar Background: Rala is an artificial plane created long ago. Due to the Mending and the death of the Creator of the plane, Rala is constantly unstable in form, mana, life, and even temporally. One month the plane could be in post-apocalyptic shape, the next it is vibrant and flourishing with life growing at an accelerated rate. Climate rapidly changes along with mana access. Species go extinct and can revive years later. Life forms here must be extremely adaptive and survive most conditions. They also tend to grow and mature faster then on other planes. In the next few decades the plane will probably collapse in on itself due to the instability of being an artificial plane and rapid changes unless it is somehow stabilized. Life was brought to this plane from several other planes. Humans, Goblins, Elves, Orochi, Viachino, Orcs, Nantuko, Merfolk, Flamekin, Nezumi and Gnolls are all native to Rala.
Species Features: Soldautari tend to appear as humanoids with white and black patches on a grey skin. They mature fast and do not die of age, but instead of other forces. They can phase between matter but are otherwise solid unlike their Soltari and Dauthi Counterparts. Soldautari are semi-nomadic and seek to repair the plane from unravelling and destroying itself wherever there are high concentrations of mana.
Backstory: Umbral and Luciel are twin siblings. Umbral had his spark ignite during his Trial to become High Chieftan. He spent a few months exploring these new stable worlds of the multiverse searching for the knowledge that could restore his own world to a balanced state. After he returned, he found his Sister had gained the title of High Chieftain, making her leader of their people. A war had started between the Soldautari and the Elf nations.
Shortly after her brother returning from his monthslong planeswalk, Luciel was almost felled in battle. The stress of battle plus the guilt of letting her people down caused her spark to ignite, planeswalking her to Theros. There she managed to steal a pike blessed by Atheros. Unlike her brother she returned to her plane quickly, after only about 3 days. The battle was still raging on, and with her new weapon managed to turn the tide and win. Umbral negotiated peace and managed to lay the groundwork for a shared body of Government between the Elves and the Soldautari. Other nations joined this body of Government making it the first United Coalition on the plane, stopping most small wars so that people could focus on ways to stabilize the plane.
Characters: Luciel prefers to use light magic to attack at range and shadow magic to open up rifts to control her opponent’s movements. Her quick reflexes and intuition make her the better in combat. However she constantly seeks opportunity to show her skills in combat and has been known to attempt to start conflicts just to be able to fight. She feels trapped by her duty to her plane and her people and does not get to planeswalk much due to it.
Umbral prefers to use shadow magic to create infinitely sharp weapons out of thin air. His use of magic is pretty limited to creating weapons or enhancing his or others abilities. He seeks knowledge more then anything else and will avoid conflict wherever possible. He tends to see the “big picture” and is a great negotiator. Umbral however tends to shirk off his duties and will leave the plane for months at a time, to the point that it is almost negligence.

Verum, Necromantic Pariah
Name: Verum Mortuix
Plane of origin: Ravnica
First planeswalk: Alara (Grixis)
Appearance:
Colors: Blue, red, and black
Preferred form of Magic: Lightning magic, necromancy
Backstory: Verum is a young man hailing from a timid family from the streets of Ravnica. While Verum was always enamored by the guilds and the big names of the city plane, his parents much preferred to avoid taking sides, and to stay out of the affairs of the guilds. He was a curious sort, and wanted desperately to make his way into one of the guilds. Likely one who brought upon great progress in the world he lived in. And what better guild than The Izzet League. The true creatives and innovators of the plane. Nothing would satisfy him more than to work for the Izzet, and to bring about a great new discovery for them and possibly even the entire city of Ravnica. Luckily for him, he would eventually find his way into the halls and labs of the League, slowly working his way up to guildmage status with his research and somewhat unorthodox way of doing things. Once he gained status in the guild, his focus shifted towards himself and understanding the latent abilities he wields. While he appeared to be the average spark mage to most of his peers, his lightning actually had the ability to reanimate the dead, albeit in a very unstable way. He would begin conducting experiments on corpses, much to the dismay of many of lab patrons who felt his work to be unsavory to say the least. One day, his experiments went horribly awry. Devices attached to a body to contain his magic seemed to be failing, so our frustrated spark mage began forcing more power into it, resulting in an overload. The backfire had destroyed his lab, wounded or killed his assistants, and ignited Verum’s Spark.
Character’s strengths: Quick witted, thinks outside of the box, his unique abilities can make him a tough opponent for his foes
Character’s flaws: Frustration often clouds his judgement, thinking outside the box tends to make him overlook the obvious
Likes: Learning, working with his hands, being right, being loved and appreciated, dogs, sweets, meats, scary stories
Dislikes: People who don’t listen, anything tedious, being wrong, feeling restricted

Name: Reiri
Race: dwarf
Plane of origin: Kaladesh
First planeswalk: Theros
Colors: red, white
Appearence: Reiri is small and thin which is really useful when she has to fit in small, narrow places during her sabotage works. Because of her work there’s nearly always some dirt or oil spill on her outfit. She carries a lot of tools with her. She wears her wavy hair in a braid and has a painting on the left side of her face; her gremlin companion also has the same painting. Because of her young age and size she’s often mistaken as a child on other planes.
Personality: Friendly and energetic, Reiri is a kind and happy folk with a lot of cutiosity and positive attitude to things. She never fears to tell her opinion which can cause trouble sometimes, as well as the fact that she likes breaking rules and doing the opposite of what the law or others require.
Backstory: Born on Kaladesh, Reiri was always surrounded by huge variety of artifacts. Her parents and brother are working for a famous inventor (Reiri’s family is still alive and when Reiri is at home she spends a lot of time with them). Reiri was a rebellious child, she didn’t like working on artifacts like the rest of her family; she often beetled off and enjoyed making small pranks to anyone. Her master (her family’s employer) saw an opportunity in this and instead of trying to restrict her, he gave Reiri a special job: since then she works as a saboteur, secretly manipulating inventions of her master’s rivals. Her first planeswalk happened when she got caught during a sabotation. She tried to escape and suddenly planeswalked to Theros. It took some time for her to know what had happened, where she is and what ability she got. After she managed to go back to Kaladesh she hasn’t told anything about this adventure to anyone - even her family still doesn’t know that she’s a planeswalker. Sometimes she disappears (when she goes to another plane) but it’s not conspicuous because her job requires to be away for some time.
Preferred form of Magic: Smaller destructive spells which can cause great damage together. She knows a lot about artifacts and has an ability to analyse quickly, find all possible weak points of machines. However she usually sabotage these weak points she also have knowledge to correct them, making the whole system stronger (but she prefers to do the sabotage-work XD).
Other notes: She has a tamed gremlin called Rani.

Name: Atka Plane of Origin: Ravnica First Planeswalk: Zendikar Origin story: Atka discovered his gift to absorb the energy/life force of other living things when, in a moment of rage, he lashed out at his friend, killing him with his death touch and absorbing his life force. This event also ignited his planeswalker spark. The grief of this incident has caused him to become emotionally detached, and he will never use his full strength in battle, in fear of a repeat of the incident that ignited his spark. Preferred type of magic: atka can absorb the energy of light, fire and living things, although the power he produces is far weaker when not using living things. Please help me with art if you can, I’d be so grateful!! I’ll create much more on this walker if it is popular, so please let Me Know if you like it at @voiddwellerstudios !!!!!

Let me just say it is hard to come up with a magic style/colors for your artificer when there are already so many and every idea you have already exists.
Don't worry so much about similarities between your character and others. You're underestimating your own creativity! You can make countless associations between any number of characters in an attempt to invalidate that character's uniqueness but it just won't be fair.Elves and wizards are all common character traits. But is Taako from Adventure Zone really that similar to Galadriel from LOTR? To Solas from dragon age? Avallac'h from witcher? Even if there's similarities they're not interchangeable.Just because your character shares a character class or color alignment doesn't make them any less original than another artificer. Please create your vision and let it grow with you into something personal and special and I'm sure other people will see it for the individual it truly is.

Ansari Moren
Plane of Origin: Eslevair-Utol (Fan Plane) Age: 70
Race: Elf
Colors: White, Blue, and Green First Planeswalk: Kaladesh
Appearance:

Backstory: Ansari grew up on the plane of Elsevair-Utol, a relatively peaceful plane (at the time) dedicated to attaining knowledge. Even from an early age, Ansari had the need to explore and travel everywhere he possibly could. His small town soon wasn’t enough and he left home early on. He never really had a family, and was always an outcast in his small community, so leaving was easy. Ansari was always unable to settle down and stay in one place for very long.
Ansari was always good at illusions, and wanted nothing more for the peace of his land to be everlasting. Even though he saw the dark times ahead, he often tried to believe that his fellow beings would be able to distinguish what was ethical, and what was not. He often found himself in the company of plants and animals rather than people. He also surrounded himself with small illusory moths. He can use his moths to “see” in places he normally would not.
Of course, people found this really weird, but the people of Elsevair-Utol don’t judge (Unless you challenge their knowledge and science). He was aware of the dark quest for knowledge that his land would soon be embarking upon. More science, we must go deeper, push every boundary even if its not very healthy, and so on. Most denizens were all for the new sciences, but they frightened Ansari. So, he left the cities all together.
He traveled far, and he traveled wide, until he’d seen everything he could. He saw the vast city-states, the small suffering towns, the expansive plains, and followed the rivers for years until he found something odd. The rivers had a definitive end. All the rivers flowed outward, but they didn’t lead to a lake or sea. They lead to an edge. An edge to nothing, an edge to an abyss…. an edge to potential. Ansari studied this edge and took note of something quite odd. The edge was slowly eroding. Before he could start to head back to the cities ( a long trek indeed ), he couldn’t help but take one last peek into the vast abyss. The ground started crumbling, but it was too late to get out of the way. Then, Ansari was falling.
Ansari fell for what must have been hours, and came to the horrifying conclusion that there must be nothing else. There was only the abyss and it’s darkness. The thought of falling forever in this nothing terrified Ansari more than anything else he had ever encountered, and his Planeswalker Spark ignited.
After arriving on the plane of Kaladesh and encountering another Planeswalker (who explained what happened to him), Ansari is very eager to explore and see what the rest of the multiverse has to offer.
Playstyle: Tokens. Tokens everywhere. And coin flipping. (I still need to work on balancing but the struggle currently exists on a multi-dimensional level)

Aercus Windforger

Aercus Windforger (aka the Dragon with Goggles)
Plane of Origin: Old-Timeline Tarkir
Race: Dragon/Humanoid
First Planeswalk: Kaladesh
Colors: Red/Blue
Backstory: On the old timeline of Tarkir, few dragons were born in a traditional sense, with most simply spawning fully-formed from the dragonstorm. Aercus was one such exception. The product of a likely forbidden union, Aercus hatched alone amidst a small trove of trinkets and treasures. Being an easy target for the Khans and generating much disdain from the Dragonlords, he learned early on to use artifice to even the odds. Without any friends on either side, he often only fought when his own life was on the line, and preferred fleeing whenever possible.
He was no more than two decades old when the dragonstorm lifted. Soon, his kind was being wiped out in a war of attrition they could no longer sustain. As the last of his kin continued to fight to the death, Aercus hastily scavenged the now-abandoned hoards of the dead Dragonlords. Barely evading the droves of mortals who moved in to plunder the treasures, he managed to acquire a particular set of powerful artifacts that he used to change his physical form. In a jarring blast of polymorphic magic, he warped his draconic body into that of a human- mostly. His transformation was incomplete, leaving reptilian eyes and copper scales along his face and down his back.
For a time, he concealed these features with human clothing as he moved to the snow-capped mountains to eke out an existence as the last dragon on Tarkir- if he could even be considered one anymore. He remained amidst the Temur, who valued his survivability and cunning knowledge of artifice. It was there he made his first friends, humans and orcs who preferred the more subtle, clever ways to survive in the wild apart from ferocity. He remained among them for several years, and lost track of time.
Eventually, his apparent lack of physical change over the course of time was brought into question, and the rise of a new Khan led to Aercus’s draconic features being forcefully revealed. He tried to escape but ended up only with spears in his back, hunted by those who he called friend. Backed against a wall, desperate and hopelessly alone, he fell to the ground, expecting the final blow- and sparked.
A very confused (but grateful) Aercus emerged on Kaladesh, wounded but not dead. He was soon found by a group of rebels, who mistook him as a fellow rebel wounded by the Consulate. After getting several nervous looks when asking about Tarkir, he simply listened to the rebels discuss the nature of things on Kaladesh. While Aercus didn’t know what had happened, he welcomed the chance to start afresh in a realm that didn’t want him dead solely based on his lineage.
He spent another couple of years on Kaladesh, thoroughly interested in all the workings of the plane. He slowly gathered renown among the crafters and inventors of the plane, both as a critic and a resource for rare materials. His gathering years on Tarkir made him uniquely equipped to delve into the wilder parts of the plane, retrieving things that would normally have costed a great deal of money and potentially lives to find.
His critiques often came with softer words and more encouragement than could be expected from other scrutinous eyes, and he was known for offering advice and even some ideas of his own. While he watched the rising conflict escalate between the Consulate and the Rebels, he remained non-confrontational. But he did not forget the kindness shown to him by the rebels, so he occasionally deviated his path to hinder the Consulate when he could.
Aercus loved his time on Kaladesh- he had even earned a bit of a reputation, as well as a place to call his own- but it soon came to an end. A Consulate airship had caught wind of his involvement with the Rebels and chased him down. When attempting to flee, he turned a corner and bolted, only to find himself tumbling through the Multiverse once more. He ended up in a lonely alley in Ravnica now, once again alone.
Aercus now seeks to discover the secrets behind this strange ability that keeps pulling him to different worlds, and hopes to return to Kaladesh and find his life there intact.
Personality: Having been on the run from some threat or another for the majority of his life, Aercus is skittish, hesitant and slow to trust. He finds little strength in numbers and largely prefers his own company over that of others. He is perceptive and honest, sometimes blatantly straightforward with others, but always taking the time to be kind. He has a veneer of suaveness that comes from engaging with others on a shallow level on a regular basis.
Once truly opened up to someone, or sometimes approaching a situation or topic for the first time, he loses his sense of confidence. He does not have a terribly high self-esteem, but does believe that he can make a difference- he just thinks has to work a lot and will probably fail and step on a lot of toes doing it. He stutters on occasion and has difficulty looking people in the eye, and often feels vulnerable.
He buries himself in his craft when creating artifacts or scavenging. He also enjoys scenic views, especially from very high up; it reminds him of the days when he could fly. In these moments of calm he can be heard humming a favorite tune, but rarely speaks, simply working with a content smile on his face.
Preferred Magic: Artifice, lightning, aether
Strengths: He can scavenge, identify and repurpose metal and artifacts of any type, particularly to siphon the power they inherently possess. While he prefers to build up energy over time to release in an unbeatable (and satisfying) blast, he can summon a storm of lightning in a flash to end a quarrel quickly or escape to live another day.
Flaws: He prefers to flee over any kind of conflict, and often passes up high reward opportunities due to avoiding risk. Despite this, he is almost purely driven by emotion, seeking to make others happy and improve their lives. This can sometimes lead to him getting into trouble that causes him to be stressed and anxious, and leaves him nearly penniless from supplying the needy with sustenance.
Trivia:
Aercus’s only home is on Kaladesh
Despite now residing on Ravnica, he continues to wear his clothes from Kaladesh. This includes an ornate royal blue cloak rimmed with gold filigree, a well-fastened champagne overshirt that covers a thick weave dark blue undertunic, a large leather belt that contains many tools for shaping, tweaking and inspecting the intricate artifacts of Kaladesh, high-cuff boots and a pair of well-crafted goggles with pale blue lenses that obscure his draconic eyes
His goggles are the only magical artifact that he keeps on him at all times. It creates a magical diversion field around him, causing others to perceive him as bland or uninteresting. Powerful beings, such as other planeswalkers, can see through this
His favorite foods are pastries, particularly fruity ones

Yarana Stonescale
Name: Yarana Stonescale
Race: Gorgon
Gender: Female
Plane of Origin: Ravnica
First Planeswalk: Zendikar
Colours: Green-black (White tertiary)
Preferred form of magic: Petrification, lithomancy
Appearance:
Eye colour: Blue
Clothing: A tattered tunic and pants with a belt
Skin: Mostly fair with patches of green scales
Equipment: A single dagger held in her belt.
Backstory: Growing up as a part of the Golgari Swarm, Yarana’s younger days mostly consisted of helping her parents handle the dead. They weren’t rich by any stretch, but they got by well enough. That was until a day when a trio of Rakdos demons paid their home a visit, murdering her father and beating her mother into a coma. Her rage mounted and she confronted the demons, ending with three new statues in Old Rav.
More time passed. The situation back home was desperate enough that Yarana and her mother resorted to pick-pocketing in order to survive. However, when she was 15, Yarana was unfortunate enough to get arrested by the Azorius… During a mass arrest of those associating with the Golgari. Life proceeded to further spit on her when, five months into her sentence, a mass revolt started. Trampled nearly to death during the riot, Yarana closed her eyes and screamed.
She was shaken a few minutes later and opened her eyes to an unfamiliar face: a kor. She had found herself on the plane of Zendikar. Scared, she rather unwittingly turned the poor soul into stone. A pair of two other kor leaped from behind a boulder and ensnared her. Curious by her gift, they offered her a deal: as penance for killing their friend, she was to defend an ally encampment for a time. In return, they would make her… More useful in their defense efforts by training her in the art of lithomancy. Remorseful for what she’d done, Yarana gladly accepted the deal, and for the next two years, she trained with the kor and helped defend the camp against hordes of Eldrazi, using the petrified corpses of those who were mortally wounded as soldiers for her cause.
After she left the encampment, she went on wandering the multiverse, having a few adventures on her journey. From tussles with Innistrad’s vampires, to a brief return to Zendikar to assist the allies’ cause, to a warm reunion with her mother on Ravnica, Yarana had seen a lot in her time. And she wouldn’t like it any other way.
Character strengths: Loyal to friends and allies, quick thinking, hard to distract and patient.
Character flaws: Easily scared, stubborn, her loyalty can be used against her if twisted in just the right way and can not deal with losing a close friend or an entire plane being snuffed out easily.

Execpt, Experimental Mimic
Plane of Origin: Ravnica
First Planeswalk: Theros
Color(s): GWU
Race: Mimic Mutant, previously an Elf
Age: To her knowledge she is only 55, but her forgotten age is closer to 160.
Origin: Except ignited on Ravnica, from the inside of a Simic test tube and landed in a small town on Theros. Her transformation into a mimic hadn’t been completed making her form unstable and confusing to look upon. She took the form of the first person she saw and when they, and the rest of the onlookers, started freaking out, Except took features from everyone present and fled. She spent several days in the hills and woodlands trying to sort out all of the information she had gathered from each individual. Once all of the information was sorted she chose a form to use, a human female with brown hair and brown eyes. She kept this form until she came across a Leonin village, adapting to fit in there; and changing forms as she went until she settled down on the outskirts of a different Leonin village. Except currently takes the form of a six armed human female with a leonine tail, ears and crest of a female merfolk and satyr horns. Most of those that she lives near have adjusted to her presence after several decades and no longer question it, she is liked by most of the children and they visit her cottage often to play. She handles the injuries that the villagers can not. She wishes to live a simply life and help others.
Preferred Magic: Execpt uses her incomplete powers as a mimic to turn into those she can see, and uses this to learn the extent of their injuries. This how she cures broken bones and treat illnesses. She has varied levels of healing magic which she uses on anyone she deems worthy of being helped, those who are not deemed worthy are few and usually individuals she has witnessed being excessively cruel to others.
Strengths: Having lost her true form through experiments, Except does not have to worry about age or injury, simply restoring her form to how it was upon taking it. If not for her personality and morals, she could become anyone she wanted and live as them.
Flaws: Extremely naïve, Except is willing to help almost anyone that’s been hurt.
Trivia: Her original name is lost in the haze of her past and the earliest memories she has are of the inside of a Simic experimental tube. She saw only one thing outside this tube before terror ignited her latent Spark and that was EXP:37 on the floor. Having forgotten how to read and speak, this stayed with her until she copied the memories of her first transformation and thought that it had spelled Except. This became her name.
She also can’t remember how to return to Ravnica.

Name: Cassidy C. Coyle
Color(s): BR, later WBR.
Age: 23
Home Plane: Rhodix (fan plane)
First planeswalk: Kamigawa
Appearance:
Personality: Impulsive, wears his emotions on his sleeve, and very poor at thinking ahead. Cassidy isn’t a loner by choice, but it’s the life he’s lived for most of his adulthood. He’s amicable to most people he meets, and loves a good time, but he’s incredibly focused on his goals and won’t deter from them, no matter what. A bit of a goofball in non-threatening environments.
Background: Cassidy grew up on a small farm on the outskirts of the largest city on Rhodix, just miles from the Gorge of Graces. They made a fair living tending to livestock and selling what they grew, and he was perfectly content to inherit the farm when the time came from his parents.
All of that changed when a family friend–so he thought, at least–betrayed them to a gang of marauders, razing the place and stealing everything they had. Cassidy had returned from a weekly trip to the city to sell their cattle and was the only survivor, looking on as his home burned and his family rotted. In his anger, he rushed at Doc Mercy, the man he thought was his friend. The older man grinned, his gold tooth shining in the hot suns of Rhodix as he said something that would never leave Cassidy’s memory.
“Nobody’s gonna miss little people like your family, kid.”
Cassidy was tied to the back of the gang’s horses, barely surviving the trip to the edge of the Gorge of Graces, where Mercy’s gang lifted and dropped a boulder onto his left arm. His vision started to blur from the pain, but he swore he saw the five of them shimmer, and almost fade out of sight to make their getaway.
Desperate to make it out alive and get his revenge, he managed to retrieve his knife from the coat and made the ultimate sacrifice. The arm pinned under the boulder would have to go.
Painstaking hours of removing his own limb paid off with his freedom, but he knew he was too weak to make it back to civilization. As he stumbled and crawled out from the edge of the gorge, he felt his whole body burn and tingle. Before Cassidy knew it, he was flung from the myriad worlds of a Multiverse he never knew existed to the world of Kamigawa. The blood of his arm had dried, and he was alive for now.
Cassidy knew that he’d been granted a gift to exact revenge against the people who took everything from him, and he wasn’t going to waste it.
