Just registered for the Mud Girl run with one of my girls. The Mud Run is a 5K run for women of “all ages and athletic abilities” wrapped in pink with the promise of supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Broccoli in the #airfryer I am all about using my pressure cooker when ever I can, but tonight I had to give my new air fryer a try. With that said, I decided to experiment with broccoli. Spritzed with a little EVOO and sprinkled with garlic powder and pepper - 370 degrees for 8 minutes. Came out nice and crispy! Will it replace me steaming broccoli in the future? Most likely not, but it was a tasty change. Of course I had to still have my pressure cooker going for the sweet potatoes - 1 cup water, 25 minutes high pressure (10 min NPR). Perfect! Don’t forget the blackened Mahi Mahi complements @costco freezer section 👍. Into the oven for 25min from frozen and dinner was done!! It doesn’t have to be complicated to make a healthy meal. The big question… what to try next in the air fryer? Who doesn’t love to feel like they are indulging while eating something that is nutritious at the same time?
