It doesn't matter what people say or if the writers make them act like they're bad for each other—in my heart, I adore them both (together and separately).

Background

The orange speedster has finally arrived and kicks off the surge universe with him being well the Surge, Jai has always been a big favorite of mine and I honestly really love him and I liked what Adams did with him, Spurrier? Not so much but that may be changing soon with how things are going. Mostly with the fact that Spurrier has finally brought back a plot point that was seemingly never resolved

And that's Jai's uncertainty and basically in the dark on if he can truly be a hero or not. It's an inferiority complex which I think alot of people are missing the point of, then again I don't really blame them Jai is still new to some readers but yeah Jai and his Uncertainty is what the surge universe version of our favorite Speedster is all about even with the fact he actually hides his super heroics from his family minus for irey as he's entered a world far bigger than anything he could imagine

Something I do need to get out of the way, Jai is Autistic in the Surge universe and he's been heavily coded to be throughout his small history. It does play a part on how he forms some relationships and how he handles situations such as fights at times

One final thing is that his suit is actually the flash forward suit from Well flash forward I always felt like that suit fitted Jai the best with his personality and his uniqueness in the flash family, having both super strength and super speed and as I theorize Durability which I think he will lose soon

And I do want to note here, Unlike many other projects Jai and irey will get their own respective fanfics detailing their solo adventures and crossover often. Irey might take more time but that's what I gotta do while juggling a arsenal fanfic, A Thad fanfic, a animal man fanfic and so so much more but don't worry. I'm not going to leave the other behind, mostly because their twins and they are supposed to be apart of a duo

Quick History

The twin to Irey West, the second impulse. And the son Wally west(third flash) and linda park Jai has finally begun his own superheroics but when he does he enters a world far bigger than he could ever imagine with A possible Demonic Messiah, A man who can't be damaged, a possible Kryptonian and a Temporal anomaly that's secrets hide the truth behind the chaotic life Jai has gotten himself into and may even be the key to saving the world

with his own city to protect with a hero named Home Run and the 2nd smartest man alive, Henry Smith also known as One

It's now up to Jai and whatever friends or allies he makes along the way to Save the world, Can Jai be a hero while balancing school life, personal life, friendships and more all the while being put under the stress to prove himself? Or will he eventually crack under pressure and fall victim to...Saint Lucifer?

Notes/fun facts

Jai has a group of friends called the surge crew or. This group is collected up multiple ocs and even obscure characters like Cliff baker and Nikki, one of the deo orphans from titans 1999

Jai is in a romantic relationship with Lian harper, more about her in this universe in Roy's profile and even her own

All of the powers he currently has from the Spurrier run are not in this universe version

He often babysits his younger brother Wade due to him not going out much pre story

Just like in the comics he's a video game and comic book fan, the current one he reads is actually from one of my oldest OC's, also he likes franchises called silver equipment, last illusion, And personification which are all references to metal gear solid, Final fantasy and Persona respectfully

He and his trio in Dodge City are called the Dodge City, adding to that choosing Dodge City is actually a reference to his names meaning as Jai translates to victory in Hindu and his surname West can be seen or read as "From the west" or "to the west" which makes jai's name roughly translate "Victory to/from the west" this makes sense as Dodge City seems to be located west of keystone

He likes to listen to music while walking around keystone and dodge

He and his sister do like to tease each other and are pretty close all things considered willing to do anything to make sure the other is okay
