If plus size clothes cost so much more cuz of all the extra fabric, then why are xxs and xl the same price? Why does the price only increase after that point?
Because of the free market

If someone chooses to treat their body differently than you choose to treat yours, they're not oppressors. You are not a victim of other people's lives.

Body positivity “activists” are hateful people that only care about themselves.

I have several issues about body positivity, but the biggest one I have, is that they equate beauty and value. They need to feel beautiful to be valuable or worthy.
Society values beauty as a trait to aspire, but body positivity values beauty in a sick way, their entire movement got reduced to "we are all beautiful, so call ME beautiful", instead of shifting to a paradigm of beauty is not the end of all.
*Your body is important, valuable and should be respected, even if it's not beautiful, and you should love and care for it.* That's what I think body positivity should be focusing on.
But the ego and insecurities of their first fat precursors damaged the entire point of it. They wanted to feel beautiful so bad, they morphed into a group of insecure selfish people looking for attention and praise, without being willing to work for it.

Jesus, the fat activism and HAES (and to some extent fat acceptance?) tags on tumblr are... several levels of sad, wrong, creepy, and generally off.
If you think being overweight is *a good thing*, you need a therapist. Fat ‘activists’/HAES ‘activists’ are pro-disordered eating/pro-ED, pro-disease and anti-disability. Here’s the thing: being fat is not, in and of itself, a disability. You’re not special. It’s not an identity. There’s no such thing as ~skinny privilege~~~~.
Being fat is by definition unhealthy, just like being underweight is by definition unhealthy.
We wouldn’t say ‘anorexia activism’ or ‘alcoholism activism’ or ‘bulimia activism’.
This is not body positivity. This is straight up delusion, disordered thinking and dare I say suicidality. Your poor children are in for a lifetime of ED and addiction.
And no, I am not saying that fat people must hate themselves at all times and cannot be happy with their bodies. I am not talking about condoning bullying fat people. I am talking about FAs getting their heads out of the sand and stopping promoting dangerous, unhealthy and crazy behaviour.

No one relates more looks and worth than the fat acceptance movement.
You don't need to be beautiful to be valuable. Your worth is not measured by your appearance. Your health is more important than your aesthetic.
Your looks won't keep you alive, your body will. Take care of it, that's self love.

When fat stereotypes are negative: boo hoo, you can't stereotype a whole class of people like that. That's fatphobic. You are hateful.
When fat stereotypes are positive: this is so true of us, nobody knows, nobody wants to accept this.
Hashtags #allbodiesaregoodbodies but "Fuck them skinny bitches"
Basically 'My entire self-worth is defined by penis'

Fat people are generally not nice, that's why we don't like them.
Everyone’s free to their own opinions, including you of course but could you try to be nicer? Laizy is free to draw however they like. You don’t have to agree to their drawings. You don’t even have to like them or the art style, but it’s not too much to ask for you to be nice to them. Anyways, that aside how are you today? I hope you’re having a nice day and if you aren’t I certainly hope it goes better for you. :)
i appreciate you being polite. however, i refuse to "be nice" to people who are aware of their intentions (aka making canon fat characters skinny) for their own indulgent purposes. i understand if you're an artist just starting out. i was guilty of drawing one face and one body type over and over. part of improving as an artist is expanding your horizons and developing your style to include all types of traits. and the fact that this person has apparently (i didn't get too far into their blog) shown that they are capable of drawing different body types, then why would they draw fat characters skinny instead of accurately? simply because they don't like fat people!

Believe me, I will survive. Fat people won't.
People on the fat acceptance movement say “They want me to be smaller” suggesting their identity and presence is intrinsically linked to the size of their physical body.
We want you to live in a smaller body than you are currently in in the hope that you’ll live a longer, happier, healthier life - meaning your PRESENCE is in fact bigger.
This is not hard to understand. You are not your fat, your fat is taking space from the person you could be.

Fatphobia is just an excuse
I’m not saying it’s okay to shame people for their weight but come on. Some “body positive” people tell people that they are fatphobic for not eating like them or for losing a couple of pounds and that’s messed up. If you don’t like to get shamed for your rolls don’t shame other for their bones. PERIODT. Every one is beautiful. Body positivity is for EVERYONE! Even skinny people.

Did your body consent to carrying around all those extra pounds of fat?
Your body is not some separate entity lmao

Either lose weight or get under a rock to shelter yourself from the world.
So what do you do when your coworker hits you with a fatphobic microaggression but it’s a small business and there’s no HR, and the coworker is the Designated Office Hag and even the boss is afraid of upsetting her?
