Damien worked here for a long time, he was practically raised to enter this job. This company, this business. This establishment. If it was up to Damien, he wouldn't even be here right now. He hated being around this place and there was this constant annoying high pitched sound that he keeps picking up until he goes home.

He wipes away the streaks under his eyes, a grimace on his face as he does so. This shouldn't be such an issue if it weren't for the mere fact that he was much more aware than his fellow board members. It's not like Damien wanted to work Human Resources, but it was the best way to keep track of everyone. Everyone. And everything.

He was just lucky that unlike his parents he was in full control of himself, and didn't have to listen to anyone. He wasn't going to let this board crumble like the past ones did. It doesn't matter what it took. He gently thumbs a photo on his desk, a picture of himself and his parents when he was younger. A frown marring his own face as streaks ran down his face and his parents smile brightly at the camera. If he tilts the photo at just the right angle, he can still see the rabbit ears adorning their heads.

He sighs and tosses the picture into his desk drawer. There was no time for worrying about the past when the present was in much more danger. There's no way that Damien can remain idle. He needs to contact Thomas and go down to Halos and Torches to check on the animatronics, he needs to make sure they weren't tampered with by any of them.

Damien takes out his phone, swiping over to his messages when he notices he already had a message from Thomas.

Tami 🎉: Hey, we have a problem. Can you come to the warehouse, immediately? Don't bring anyone but Dhals.

He frowns immediately and types out a reply as he heads out, pulling on his jacket.

Dami 🎁: On my way.

Thomas has experienced many things within her time working as an employee of Fazbear Entertainment, from a minor employee to being allowed to use the blueprints and teachings of Emily himself, by the blessing of the CEO. She can has seen things that can be considered impossible. The tech running through this company not even the top of the top can get their hands on, under lock and key of Fazbear Entertainment's copyright.

Thus, Thomas also knows how to keep his mouth shut to the public. Pleasant smiles for showcasing new locations and animatronics, polite greetings, and PR scripted answers and responses.

To Thomas, it was all bullshit. Their favorite place was the Warehouse, obviously. They didn't beg to be allowed to work on the animatronics as a new employee all those years ago ust to smile in front of camera. They really wish they could pass it on to someone else, and they blame the previous CEOs for leaving them with a mountain of controversies and skepticisms.

But that's neither here nor there, not when Thomas was alone in the warehouse with remains of the Fredbear springlock suit, the springbonnie lost to time. Thomas remembers stories from his father about Fredbear's Family Diner, the horror stories and the nostalgic ones.

As Thomas gently washes out the dirt and grime, he can't help but remember when his father told him about the last time he was at Fredbear's Family Diner. His father told him;

It was in the fall of 1983, October, late in the month. He would tell Thomas, teary-eyed after another day of school and the cruelty of other children. And I was there for a birthday party, we weren't really friends but he still invited me just to have people there. A free entrance to Fredbear's? And my parents didn't have to pay for food or games? I was quick to say yes. He would always sound so sad about taking advantage of the opportunity now, despite not feeling that bad when it happens. Which Thomas believes is just what happens when you look back on your life.

We expected it to be like any other party for a kid at Fredbear's, the only weird part was that the kid was terrified of the animatronics. I kind of felt bad so I tried to make him feel better by telling him about my plushbonnie springtrap that my father, your grandfather, got me. Just to get his mind off things.

And Thomas would always ask for the end, how did the birthday party end? How did it end? Did the kid get better? Did he stop being scared?

Thomas saw a lot of herself at that time with that kid, and she thinks that's why her father was always so strict with who hangs around her, about bullies, and cruel people. Why her father always made sure she knew that she could run away, even if it's seen as cowardly, how she always had somewhere safe to go.

It ended in tragedy. He would say quietly, one afternoon, with the sound of a heart monitor in Thomas' ears. His father's hands squeezing one of his own as he presses his forehead against his. It ended in tragedy.

Thomas' father never lived it down. The Incident, it's called in his home. No one could talk about it, not even his siblings. Thomas doesn't remember it. And it seems like it was better that way.

He still doesn't know what his father meant when he said it ended in tragedy, but as he pulls away from Fredbear to rewet his towel only to meet the transparent eyes of a child. Something drops in his stomach, and Thomas became very aware.

The location of the Generation Five Animatronics is currently classified to all except higher up management.

The Generation 5 Animatronics are currently going through test runs in order to see if they are still in working conditions. Due to being OOS for a long period of time. We are letting them run under surveillance, why do you ask?

The Generation 1 Animatronics are in a disrepair to a state where salvaging the old parts will result in 10-15% success rate. Considering the disrepair and scattering of [SPRINGBONNIE] and [FREDBEAR], it has been suggested that we do a reconstruction rather than repairing the animatronics.
