i finally read the second warriors graphic novel :D book so good i had to draw firestar lol

here are the mains !! errm ill probably do more designs cuz these guys were really fun to make :] (not soda using aus as an excuse to experiment with different toon designs for no reason what-)

noticing that ive had friday night funkin on my mind a lot this month for some reason ?? idk why lmao (i should probably also say that the mod has no actual correlation w this au besides the aesthetics)

anyways uhh whats goin on. the main focus of the au is the in-universe show, bc gardenview doesnt exist here. no ichor, no twisteds, no toons irl, its just a show. id say its around current era, maybe a liiiiiittle bit older. i think its best described as one of those really earnest passion-project cartoons that air for like 2 seasons before nickelodeon goes "ehhh its not beating spongebobs ratings.. not good enough" and then they kill it forever cough cough rottmnt cough harvey beaks cough cough (also uhh thats not entirely final cuz im still kinda questioning if i should make it just a cartoon or have it be its own world outside of that context entirely.. idk)

so the mains right. theyre like a tight-knit neurodivergent friend group where none of them rlly have many friends outside of the group but they would all die for each other. theyre very protective over each other, kind of like a "you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us" sort of deal. not a lot of toons really understand them (especially astro and sprout) and theyre pretty much the only ones who really get each other (well. besides sprout and cosmo- those two couldnt be closer- but cosmo isnt really a part of the group. hes not *that* close with the other mains, but he does tag along with sprout to hang out with them a lot, and they do get along pretty well. hes like an honorary member lmao)

i think they would have this interaction at least once a day (sprout does the same thing in his gc with cosmo and ginger too)

(dandy puts an extra one on pebbles behalf lol) (yes it is necessary, sprout has been genuinely worried over not knowing how pebble was doing before)

okayyy enough yapping lol

one more thing actually- my handwriting is absolute fucking garbungo dogwater so heres some transcriptions of the character bios under the cut jic anythings too hard to read

Dandy:

- Huge cartoon enthusiast

- Spends the most time outside (mainly gardening)

- Loves helping Toons with minor problems (They like the sense of accomplishment and validation)

- Can't handle actually serious situations tho (struggle of being a kid's show MC lol)

- Cousins with Sprout !

Pebble:

- Dandy's "weird" dog that tends to creep out other Toons

- A huge sweetheart with the rest of the mains, just untrusting of strangers

- Super protective of the Mains, will flip on a dime and attack anyone he sees as threats

- Often acts as a therapy dog, especially to Sprout and Astro

Astro:

- Hypersomnia warrior

- Appears really antisocial a lot but people just never let him sleep

- He doesn't even get mad about it, just pathetically upset

- Do NOT remove his headphones he gets overwhelmed sooo easily and he WILL cry.

- Somehow maintains several friendships (cuz the mains actually respect his needs lol)

Shelly:

- Hyperfixated on extinct animals in general, not just dinos

- LOVES digging

- aggressively supportive to literally everyone

- likes making bracelets with Vee and gifting them to her friends

- Kins Peanut from Burner LMAO

Vee:

- Hosts a chill ass Talk Show

- Very upfront about her care for other Toons

- Dogshit social skills, uses the Talk Show interviews as a weird way to learn about people lmao

- Likes making bracelets with Shelly and gifting them to her friends

Sprout:

- Xanax prescription NOW.

- Really bad separation anxiety, freaks the FUCK out if he can't be sure his friends are ok

- Especially Cosmo, jfc-

- Cooks instead of baking now.. idk why

- Likes to think he's cool even though he's kind of a loser /aff

- Cousins with Dandy!

We all start somewhere, ya know? I didn't wake up one day and magically become a great fanfic writer, I've been writing stories my entire life and I used to make really cringe shit, you probably could still find it out there if you look hard enough too bahahahaha

What matters buddy, is that YOU have fun trying something new. If it's not perfect, who cares? Nothing is perfect, hell I would even say my most liked fic is far from perfect yet so many people obviously like it.

You can do anything, I promise, with enough practice and patience anyone could do what they love. My art is ass but I genuinely have SO MUCH FUN doodling whenever I get the energy and inspiration too so I keep doing it and trying to get better
