[ ; her eyes trail wanderously at the girl, beaming with wide enthusiasm and whatnot -- even bursting to a short fit of a giggle ] y'know, honestly, i just wanted to say that i really don't like partnering up or group work. on the contrary to that belief, though -- [ ; she raises an index finger to imply physically to her words ] this project doesn't seem like your usual take home crap with a rubric. [ ; she pauses from her speech, and offers a lame excuse of a smile with the shrug of her shoulder ] also! i couldn't help but to ask you along the way -- you look pretty chill. [ ; she nods for a few moments before shuffling through her bag, grabbing a small pad of paper and a pen, clicking it to begin writing for small ideas that'll come to usage ] lets see.. though i really haven't paid great attention, i'm sure that we have to somehow demonstrate our abilities to the class. together. like -- [ ; her breath gets caught in her lungs, making a face due to slight difficult of trying to word things properly ] i suppose, in a way, we kinda' have to put our powers together, y'know? -- i mean, if that made any sense. [ ; she snorts, glancing at the latter ] you're a water manipulator, yeah?

{/Sora was deaf to the world, her earbuds in, music blasting in her eardrums. The girl could vaguely see her professor mouthing inaudible words- at least to Sora- to the class, words that she could care less about hearing. She leans back against her chair, crossing and uncrossing her legs to get comfortable every two seconds. When the professor suddenly says something that makes the entire class stand up and bustle around like bees, it’s then Sora finally yanks her earbuds out of her ears, narrowing her eyes at the rather chaotic scene before her.} What the fuck did I miss? {/She mutters lowly to herself, and her heart takes a plummet as soon as she sees people partnering up, gesturing to each other across the room. Sora groans inwardly, knowing that most people wouldn’t dare talk to her, let alone want to be her partner.} So, so screwed. {/Sora murmurs quietly to herself, eyes darting around nervously as she wished Jongin was in her class- at least he’d be there for her.} {/Suddenly catches a glimpse of Sooyoung out of the corner of her eye, and the girl’s frantically waving in her direction. Sora’s skeptical, and stays planted in her seat until the other calls her name rather loudly.} Christ. {/She immediately gathers her things off the tables hastily, making her way over to Sooyoung.} Keep it down! {/Eyes the rest of the class warily, and relaxes when they’re too busy idly chatting with each other to pay attention to Sora’s name being called out like a mantra.} So, what are we doing anyways? {/looks bored as soon as she’s guaranteed with a partner, and that she wouldn’t have to suffer the humiliation of being forced to go solo.}

[ ; her eyebrows, too, in fact has risen, an odd curve to be an excuse of a frown just as the seemingly young lad approached her ] weren't you offering the tour thingamajig? [ ; she crosses her arms over her chest with the small booklet in between her fingers and shrugged casually ] i mean, y'know -- my question really isn't all that important, though i seem to be circling the campus endlessly in hopes to find my destination. you see, its been quite tedious too. [ ; she nods slowly, then swiftly -- all at once as her words slipped past her breath ] .. i, uh, just sort of wanted to know where the cafeteria was located.

so the dormitory is up there, huh? [ ; she remarks to the older woman assisting her with a map shown onto the counter. nodding afterwards, sooyoung chews her bottom lip out of habit. a sense of petty awkwardness reaches her when being called by the chosen alias as 'flora,' and she insists on correcting the woman -- "sooyoung's fine, y'know?" however, the woman behind the counter disregards it and continues on with selected classes for the semester. taking her welcome portfolio afterwards, sooyoung dips her head for a 'thank you,' before exiting the room. finding herself back in the lengthy halls, she pulls out a map to locate herself back to the dorms; walking at a casual pace. her eyes thoroughly surveys the taller, male figure before her. pupils dropping at the very, very similar watch to his wrist, her eyebrows furrow in confusion just as she abruptly turned her gaze to her own wrist ] how'd he -- how'd i -- [ ; she quickens her speed to fling her grip around the latter's arm, raising the limb with her wrist at eye-level ] how much you wanna bet that this doesn't belong to you?

[ ; she nearly made a face of honest displeasure at the door with its bright numbers blaring against her irises, and for a brief crack of a moment -- it seemed like a curse slipped past her lips. brought to attention by an unfamiliar voice near her distance, sooyoung became immediately started, her voice cutting through the silence that she has grown used to. noting the latter's attire and the towel draped around her neck and over the shoulders, sooyoung couldn't help but to put to thought -- perhaps we have a morning class of gym or maybe she's a runner, no? ] .. ah, oh -- me? [ ; her eyes are gleaming wide, pointing to herself with a cheeky smile swept across her face ] i mean, its not really a big deal; at all, actually. i just -- [ ; she flops her arm towards the door and its number plate ] -- totally forgot to go and get the key inside, is all. by the way.. they give 'em out in the main office, right?

[ ; she lifelessly taps her pencil against the golden wood of a desk before her -- though by now, sooyoung has known that these sort of classes don't exactly require the use of pens and pencils. she drowns the professor's words out of her ears and sighs to herself; reluctantly keeping the same, steady beat of the pencil popping against the wood. -- "and so, i would like you to choose your partner.'' her head immediately pops up, glancing around her just as other mutants began pairing themselves up. nonetheless, her eyes dart across to find a partnerless classmate; whom for quite some time -- has admired her beauty. awkwardly with her own wits, sooyoung waves frantically to catch her attention, wiggling her fingers some ] sora! hey, park soooora!

[ ; peering from behind as the line of hungry students, she felt to be rather antsy. sooyoung kept the weight on her heels like a feather; quite light and was able to keep an easy bounce. stepping on the tips of her toes, she craned her neck to get a sufficient view of whatever had to be sold to eat. the aroma of the food cooking didn't seem just as bad, just as its scent tickled her nose. within moments, she grabs at a tray to pile an assortment of foods to create a colorful plate; though she could feel those eyeing her dish from afar. the tray suddenly became a tower of foods that sooyoung hastily thrown, dipping her head in apology after she paid. searching the cafeteria like a hawk, so spotted an open seat with a girl whom she liked -- quite a lot. safest to say that they were friends; and so, sooyoung rests her tray besides the girl and seats herself comfortably ] told you i'd find you in this crazy mob of kids.

[ ; adjusting and constantly fidgetting with her most dearest wristwallet, sooyoung sat in the main office in hopes of her name being called for some more heaps of paperwork. the ticking of the clock from above created an endless beat in her ears, and there was an evident tapping against her shoes. nonetheless to say that sooyoung's patience was quite tolerable, especially for important reasons such as these. latching the watch off her thin wrist, she gave it a single look before simply resting it on the arm of the sofa. her name was soon called; and she sprung up to fill out excessive forms -- though her most treasured item was out of thought. for now.

(— having finally found his room, jongsuk was too lazy to go out again. one glance out the window tempted him though - the fog, not being able to see quite clearly where he was going - but still, lazy. sitting up in his bed and glancing to the one across the room, he pursed his lips in a straight line, wondering where his roommate was. he knew he had at least one other roommate, seeing as one closet was filled and one bed set up, but other than that, said person was no where in sight. it was still too early to be snooping through his things when it’d be there for a while, but perhaps her could go elsewhere. hopping off his bed, he shuffled out of his room with hands in his pockets. )

[ ; she securely held the dormitory map firmly in between her lengthy fingers, studying the sheet carefully under watch. her eyes darted up towards the near-right corner of the printed paper, marked with '101,' just as sooyoung murmuring the three-digit number under her breath ] -- one-oh-one, one-oh-one, one-oh-- [ ; she took an abrupt stop in front of a door labeled '101,' just as she glanced back to the paper for multiple times to confirm ] ah, neato. [ ; right hand gripped around the knob to walk herself inside 'till a thought came in mind -- have you forgotten to ask the main office for a key inside? sooyoung heaves a hefty sigh, the day being too overwhelming as it was just literally morning; and thus she has to trudge back down to ask ]

[ ; mixed within the swarm of new students -- or new mutants, for that matter, sooyoung finds herself utterly lost in the large group. endless chatters buzzed in her ears; much alike bees, as it created a mild ache to her temples. clustering the new enrollment package against her chest with her cell tucked behind long fingers, she decided to let the rest rush in first. surely, she follows behind within a matter of moments. stunned by all means, sooyoung's eyes beamed in realisation towards the figure ahead; -- who knew that xavier's would be known to have rather attractive students? differently than the many that surrounded her, sooyoung was in an eager hurry as she raised a hand to flop -- in hopes of catching his attention ] -- ah, excuse me -- you up there!

{` blinks at the rush of incoming students — for once too overwhelmed to consider approaching them one by one to sate his curiosity. the ever-familiar feeling of fatigue follows his every step as he makes his way to front of the room, as shameless as ever in finding himself a nice, high spot to stand before he addresses the milling crowd of new faces with a bright smile and a carefully raised voice} Hello and welcome — I’m Lu Han and I’ll be your guide today, little ones. Come to me with your questions and I shall answer them to the best of my abilities. {` lies, almost all of it, but the curl of his eyes says nothing of it}
