Son of Wolves

As a friend of mine dubbed him, meet Ty-zan of the Wolves! This is based off a 'What if?" idea where instead of being turned into a wolf, Ty was raised by one or more. The creature standing next to him is my character, Aura, depicted as a white wolf and Ty's 'cousin'. Ty's costume was inspired by Tarzan's tale by the late Mr. Edgar Rice Burroughs, and also slightly inspired by San, as well as Ashitaka with the cut on Ty's cheek, from the film Princess Mononoke.

There's more to this, but I'll stop there. For now, enjoy!

Genie’s Dogfish

Indefinite Hiatus

So.... yeah. One reason why I’ve been slow in updating with new artwork, besides life and all that.

 I’ve been thinking about my Tumblr account recently, and have been debating with myself on whether I should keep it or not since I barely use it anymore and have been spending most of my time and energy on my other social platforms. This social platform is certainly fun, and I am glad to keep up with folks here. But I think as of now, I’m going to go on an indefinite hiatus as to whether I want to keep this account or delete it altogether.

There are some asks I do want to get to so I’ll complete those in due time, but once those are done, I think I might put this account on archive (or just leave it be whichever I decide) and then once I have a better idea of what to do with this account, you’ll all know.

Avengers Mira and Romac

"This is like Tradeworld all over again."

Different context here, but the quote was perfect to use!

I found an old and quick drawing of these two dressed up as Avengers characters so I decided to color it in for fun. Mira Nova as Black Widow and Romac as Hawkeye. This is the first time I've drawn the lovable scoundrel Romac; he didn't turn out too half bad. Also, made an adjustment to Mira's hair, by adding in more orange than it usually has in canon. I think I'll keep this adjustment in my illustrations of her from now on. Enjoy!

Bullitt’s Mustang

Another car! This time, it's the one, the only, the genuine... 1968 Ford Mustang GT 390!

This was made as a birthday card earlier this year for someone I know, and I saw it floating around my files, so I decided to share it here. I also wanted to share it because this year is the 50th anniversary of one of the late but great Mr. Steve McQueen's greatest films, Bullitt. So this is sort of a tribute to the film and the cool car, the '68 Mustang.

Summer Flamingo Postcard 2018

It's an early piece for the summer season, but I did want to go ahead and post this because I liked how it turned out. :)

And once more, for those who aren't aware, I've been illustrating seasonal postcards so as to let folks know what I'm up to and so they can have a little piece of my art in their hands and know I'm available for projects. If you’d like one, PM me!

I chose a flamingo because not only are they some favorite animals of mine, but flamingoes are perfect symbols for the summer season. This fella is making the most out of it by relaxing in the sun with a nice glass of lemonade. His little hermit crab buddy sure agrees!

And watching them both is a small tiki totem, which I wanted to add for the ambiance of the season and because there is a little homage I wanted to pay to Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, located in Disneyland. The tiki gods there are very fun to watch, and that place is fun and relaxing in general.

Aw, how cute! I love how he expresses his desire to go on an adventure; he’s so enthusiastic about what he wants! It looks like he’ll be taking his first step into adventure thanks to the strange sound he hears. Oh boy!
