IT IS ONCE AGAIN THE BEST BIRTHDAY OF THE YEAR My Wine Aunt™ Wife, Manuela Casagranda Happy Birthday, Manuela Fire Emblem (can I just say how I personally feel that I *ROCKED* this piece? I've been watching so many art streams & absorbing so much) Y'know, looking back now, I think I've finally realized something; you know how people are always saying that to improve on art, you gotta find that ONE character and just draw them over and over? I think I've only now realized that Manuela is THAT character for me. Like, she's the litmus test for what I understand when I make art. Huh.

Man, I completely forgot to share this here yesterday, on the day of. I did it on Bird App like usual; I gotta remember that I'm back on here now... a commission I did, back around when the Jenny Miku YouTooz figure was announced. I even typed up an anniversary message, too!

"Damn, I'm finding a LOT of use for this comm, today is the 20th anniversary of My Life as a Teenage Robot! Rob Renzetti crafted one of the gems of my Nickelodeon-powered early childhood, and proves to be an endless fountain of inspiration to this day!"

All stations, drop what you're doing and stop... Spider-People??? Presenting the Across the Spider-Verse Spidersona collab! Got the talented crew back again for another romp on a big project, with everyone bringing their own flavor of web-slinging warrior!

I also threw in the background as a separate image, I don't show them off enough... I should make a BG post, now that I'm thinking about it...

Time to teach these fools the power of ROCK! Rolling out with some No Straight Roads art! Since the first trailer, I was sold on the game's direction; characters, art, music, gameplay, all of it! I had to express the hype I have for this title in the best way possible, and thus this was born! I'm so relieved to have gotten this to a point where I was happy with it; after all the time I spent working on and getting critiqued, I wanted this to be the best it could be ;-; If you haven't already, I absolutely URGE you to check out @nostraightroads , it's looking to be one heck of a jam session!

She's hilarious, and past her "arrogant and snobbish" looks at the start, she's NOTHING like that at all, and is one of my personal Absolute Faves™. Also, her relationship with Lissa is adorable. She's just great!

On this fine Bunny Day, I'd like to present you all with my new favorite Bunny, Rei! Yeah, I've fallen into the Paladins trap, and she's by far my favorite support character, and I'm not just talking cosmetically! She's an absolute MONSTER on the field (and is super annoying for @awe.artist to deal with), and is all around good fun!

As long as it's not past midnight somewhere I'm still on time HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MANUELA FIRE EMBLEM, my drunk, sassy, lazy, artistic spirit animal. I relate to this woman WAAAY more than I thought I would. This is not a one time thing; there WILL be more Manuela art. (For real though, this was REALLY NOT BAD AT ALL for a picture that I started in one day, that is ALSO quite far out from my traditional wheelhouse of artstyles, hence why I only kept with flats for coloring this; I am quite happy with it!) Also, as a side note; how fitting is it that Manuela is my 69th post? Ehh? Eeeeeehhhhhhh???

(Modern day update: I think I did a pretty alright job on this, especially as it was the first time I'd ever drawn Manuela)
