College Freshman Stabbed to Death After Seeing Three Young Women Being Groped and Stepping in to Help

With final exams on the horizon, Donnell Marcus Phelps was all set to finish his freshman year at Fort Valley State University in Georgia.

The 19-year-old from Marshallville had been studying agricultural engineering technology but also found time to manage the university’s tennis team.

 And help those in need. 

Late Tuesday afternoon he witnessed a man harassing three young ladies. The man was touching these girls in a very inappropriate way, so he decided to step in. However, he was forced to bring fists to a knife fight.

An autopsy showed Phelps was stabbed four times in the upper torso with a pocket knife with a 3.5-inch blade.

“Words cannot describe the pain that we all feel in the Fort Valley State community,” university President Paul Jones said at news conference, offering condolences to Phelps’ family, friends, students and the entire community.

Johnson described Phelps as selfless: “He always gave us hugs, and he’d always check up on us,” she added to the Telegraph.

Donnell Phelps died a hero. His Mom did an incredible job raising an amazing person. God bless this young man for his sacrificial act of bravery. His life matters.

 RIP Donnell Phelps.

It’s a case of the good ol’ retconning. 

I am confused

So Neal wanted to destroy magic? When did that quest start? Why didn’t we see any hints to that in earlier seasons? He didn’t like magic, but they never said he wanted to destroy it. I thought that was Tamara’s deal? Why did we hear about this through Henry and not Neal? Please, someone explain what happened because I am so utterly confused. I did not watch the season finale, but have seen my dash. This new development seems like an added afterthought. Please explain?

That’s what I was thinking too. You can be a heartthrob without wanting any kind of romantic or sexual relationship. The real issue would have been if they were trying to make him a player. That said, it’s important to remember that you can be asexual and not aromantic ( although in Jughead’s case, he really hasn’t shown romantic interest in anyone). 

I’m worried about the Archie tv show. We just found out Jughead is asexual and his character has never really been into dating and romance and I don’t want the show to come out and suddenly he’s got a girlfriend and whatnot. I want him to be how he is in the comics, not what modern society thinks teenagers should be.

my essay isn’t done but i sure am

It sucks that I’m not even looking forward to this semester being over. I was so excited to go home and potentially hang out with my friends from home that I haven’t seen in months. Now, I don’t even care. I used to dread tests and final papers, but now I just keep thinking “Why worry? It doesn’t matter that much anyway.” I mean, it hasn’t gotten to the point where I don’t even care to bother, but my procrastination has gotten much worse, and I’m much more content with not even giving my best effort, especially when I know it won’t pay off in the end. This is only my second semester of college. How the hell I am supposed to get through the last six/seven semesters of school (I know I’m definitely not going to continue on as a graduate student - there’s no way I would make it out of that) ?
