for the vallite throne, right? i would think that by stepping down,  her direct lineage also gets kicked down a notch in terms of line of succession and then corrin’s direct lineage gets bumped up.

but, then again, we really don’t know anything about how line of succession works in valla. in the japanese version, valla/touma is based off of an ancient chinesekingdom and their succession seems to be standard fare

whereas the englishvalla is a mish-mash of norse and indian culture (treehouse made a lot of interesting and weird decisions when localizing)  so there’s not much to base the succession off of there.

all we know is that the nohrian throne goes by age with no discrimination between gender, while the hoshidan throne favors the male heirs before the female heirs (although correct me if im wrong on that. the english version implies that hinoka would have /gave/ the throne to takumi, but im 70% sure i remember the japanese version implying/directly saying that takumi would have been next in line after ryoma)

What would a Flora!M!Kana be like? Also how would he interact with his mothers and the responsibilities of being the heir to not only the Nohrian Throne but also the Ice Tribe in later lif? Thank you!!

obviouslyi’m always down for flora headcanons, ESPECIALLY flora/kamui headcanons, but there are a few things that would make those headcanons difficult to write.

one, pretty sure in the conquest path, the throne would have to burn through a number of heirs before kana ever got a chance. canonically, the nohrian throne doesn’t discriminate between genders and goes purely by age so the succession i’m pretty sure would go like this:

Xander > Xander’s children > Camilla > Camilla’s children > Corrin > Kana.

albeit we could skip over camilla entirely since she has no interest in the throne.   

second, the ice tribe would sooner riot than let a nohrian prince become their leader. let alone let a nohrian KING rule over them. their whole deal is that they want autonomy from nohr and to be recognized as their own nation. for kana to have a shot  at inheriting leadership of the ice tribe, he’d have to completely abandon all ties to the nohrian throne, thus making it impossible for him to simultaneously be the king of nohr and the leader of the ice tribe. thats even if he gets a shot at the nohrian throne.

What piercings would the royals and their retainer get?

(Characters with an asterisk have a footnote that goes more in depth on it at the end of the post)

Ear Piercings: Elise, Leo*, Camilla, Selena, Beruka*, Laslow, Sakura, Oboro, Kagero

Nose Piercings: Selena, Peri, SetsunaTongue Piercings*: Effie, Hana, and Saizo.

Leo got his ears pierced when he was going through a rebellious stage and he thought stud earrings would look cool. He regrets it.

Beruka doesn’t care for piercings, but she got one to match Camilla and Selena, like a sign of friendship.

Tongue piercings in Nohr and Hoshido are purely considered a sign of strength and toughness. Occasionally one will wear a ring if they wanna be extra intimidating, but it’s never really done as a cosmetic/fashion choice. Additionally, Hinata was going to get one but chickened out last second.

This actually did get me thinking about heirs, though. Slightly off-topic, but I wonder if Kana or Azura’s children would inherit the throne after Corrin? Azura technically had rights to the throne but stepped down soo... thoughts?

Yo: how would the royals (nohr and hoshido) react if their S/O left after a heavy fight and they accidently walked into a deep realm to let out steam or chill or just need some time to relax and they forgot that the time flows differently so when they come back home 1, 2 or 3 years have passed?

I think everyone would react basically the same: fucking TERRIFIED. Who knows what could’ve happened to their s/o?! Their S/O could’ve done something to themselves or gotten hurt or killed or kidnapped all because of them. They’d try looking. Looking, looking, looking, searching day and night all over the place with whoever will help. Their S/O may even be presumed dead until one day they show up suddenly. They have no idea how to react. “Are you even real?” 

To be honest, they probably would’ve moved on, thinking it’s for best – ESPECIALLY if it’s Xander or Ryoma. What choice would they have? They have a kingdom to run. But the guilt would stay with them. They would think their s/o disappearance was solely their fault.

As a typical tsundere, teasing Selena would get her excited – even if she doesn’t show it! Just plainly telling her how cute she is gets her flustered up, follow it with gentle pecks here and there and maybe a squeeze on the bunz will get her turned on in no time.

OKAY! So hello I've just found y'all today and I love you all so much it reminds me of my old blog but that's aside the point. I saw a post where someone wanted to know the flaws of Ryoma, Shigure, and I think Silas? And then there was one for stuttering Shiro and it ignited this flame in me that has bothered me for MONTHS OKAY AND THE WORLD MUST KNOW. RYOMA IS A TERRIBLE FATHER. THAT'S HIS FLAW. (1/probably 2 i dunno yet)

Ryoma literally NEVER told Shiro that he was going basically the high prince of Hoshido, cause as soon as Mikoto died Ryoma was basically king in all ways aside formal blah blah. So when he goes to get Shiro from his deep realm he's like 'I thought you'd learn responsibility, and leadership' and then proceeds to make Shiro feel essentially isolated and like crap because his own dad didn't trust him enough to tell him who exactly he is. Oof (2/3 or 4 im sorry)

So basically Shiro didn't end up like Ryoma did at his age and Ryoma kind of resents him for that and that's NOT FAIR because Ryoma was raised ALWAYS knowing who he was going to be and what he had to become and Shiro was a kid who's dad probably never visited him, or hardly did, never told him about their lives and families or if he did it was all very abridged and I bet Shiro lacks trust in his dad at this point at all. But if you consider how Ryoma could've raised him (IM WRITING SO MUCH SORRY

So Ryoma could've raised Shiro similar to how Xander raised Siegbert, still in the DR but with the knowledge thay he would be king so he could study. And even when Siegbert is anxious because he puts his dad on a pedastal Xander shuts him down and basically says I can guide you but you're going to be your own king, I have my flaws and I hope you can learn from that. I understand that Ryoma gets better but he probably gave Shiro massive anxiety disorders and trust issues. Okay I'm done, sorry..

Ooh, good question anon!

-Ryoma likes more traditionally Japanese music. He prefers instrumental stuff, and he likes more chill, calm music as opposed to pop.

-Xander likes classic music. Like Ryoma, he prefers more calming music, especially songs with violin parts in them.

-Hinoka likes Early 2000s Rock music. And… that’s about it. Her music tastes aren’t very diverse and she doesn’t wanna branch out.

-Camilla really likes Latino dance music, like tango songs and stuff. She also likes listening to her sibling’s fave music so she can talk to them about it.

-Takumi likes pop music. He’s pretty embarrassed about it. Think Radio Disney music. That’s the stuff he likes.

-Leo doesn’t care much for music, but he does find vaporwave interesting.

-Sakura likes K-Pop and is lowkey a total fangirl for Korean boy bands. She has posters in her room and everything.

-Elise is basically in the same boat as Takumi. She always wants to jam out with him but Takumi always pretends that he’s not into her music (but secretly totally is.)

How would Seigbert, Kiragi, Shiro, and Forrest react to learning they're gonna have a younger sibling?

Siegbert would take his new role very serious and at first, it seems like he’s upset. In reality, he’s just gearing up to protect his baby sibling.

Shiro literally says “No thank you.” His parents NEVER let him live it down and they laugh about it years later.

Kiragi is excited and will be bouncing off the walls he’s so excited to have another sibling.

Forrest isn’t really sure what to make of it. He’ll ask a lot of questions about why his parents are having another baby and if once they’re old enough, will they come live with him
