Nomi is competing in heat 2 of Melodifestivalen tomorrow!

Melodifestivalen is a music competition here in Sweden that determines who will represent us in Eurovision Song Contest in May. She is opening the show tomorrow and you can already listen to her song here (Spotify) and here (SVT Play), as well as get a sneak peek of her performance here (SVT Play)!

Sooo it has been like 2 months since I last posted abt the star stable socks

I need to do something about the small stars, they feel too crowded and the lines they make are kinda jarring (especially when wearing the sock). The rider is a bit too big too. I will still probably finish this one just to complete the pattern on the foot and then start over.

I've also switched tactics for carrying the white yarn along, I think this is called 2 sided knitting but I'm not sure. You just do a purl stitch(?) with the other yarn every few stitches so you get this support structure on the inside, keeps the knit stretchy. (shoutout to my mom for teaching me this)

(I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense, my English fiber crafts vocab is very lacking)

yarn is 350m/100g, 3mm needles

with my tension the density is about 28 stitches wide x 32 stitches tall per 10x10cm, and that's big enough to fit over my 43cm round leg with sweatpants on
