happy juneteenth but dont forget that prisoners are legally allowed to be subject to slave labor and also black people are disproportionately arrested and subjected to that legality. happy juneteenth but slavery still lives in america. america is still dependant on slave labor.

"these researchers published a paper on something that literally any of us could have told you 🙄" ok well my supervisors wont let me write something in my thesis unless I can back it up with a citation so maybe it's a good thing that they're amplifying your voice to the scientific community in a way that prevents people from writing off your experiences as annecdotal evidence

terms that have cropped up to discuss transandrophobic discrimination:
trans broken arm syndrome
similar to fat broken arm syndrome; the way that doctors blame medical problems being experienced solely on testosterone or estrogen
tomboy breaking
an umbrella term for tropes that force gender nonconforming female characters back towards femininity or womanhood, usually to "bring out the true woman underneath all that masculinity" in order to sexualize them
reproductive detransition or corrective-rca / detrans-rca
similar to reproductive coercive abuse; a method of forcibly detransitioning a trans man/masc person by having them carry a child, reproductive detransition and corrective-rca would be if a trans man/masc person does not want to be a seahorse dad and detrans-rca is if the trans man/masc person does want to be a seahorse dad
malgendering
can also happen to trans women; when people only call trans men/woman by their gender to insult or belittle them (eg, "only a woman would be stupid enough to transition to be a woman", or "trans men really are men because this one mansplained to me" when said trans man was talking to this person about his personal interests)

When people like JK Rowling deny that trans people were targeted and killed in the Holocaust, she’s denying the personhood and existence of these people and their brief biographies:
-Toni Ebel and her life partner Charlotte Charlaque, German Jewish transgender women with Transvestitenscheins and the some of the first people to undergo sex reassignment surgery, fled to Czechoslovakia where they helped Jews escape, until Charlaque was taken by the Czechoslovak Aliens Police and deported to the United States. They would never see each other again. Ebel was one of the first victims of the Nazis to be legally recognized by Opfer des Faschismus
-Gerd Kubbe, a German transgender man who had his Transvestitenschein revoked, was sent to the Lichtenburg concentration camp and was under surveillance when he was released
-Gerd R, a German transgender woman with a Transvestitenschein who suffered an abusive mother and mentally spiraled after her wife left and denounced her after an arrest from the Nazis that made them legally and physically detransition. She was sent to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, several different prisons, and forcibly institutionalized at the Berlin-Wittenau Medical Centre and the Göring Institute, which caused her to commit suicide
-Fritz Kitzing, a German transvestite who was sent to Rummelsburg concentration camp for wearing women’s clothes, to the Lichtenburg concentration camp without trial and then Sachsenhausen. When they were released and sent letters to London about the camp, the Nazis arrested them again for spreading “atrocity propaganda”, sent them back to Sachsenhausen and forcibly enlisted them into the Wehrmacht.
-Liddy Bacroff, a transgender German novelist and sex worker who was murdered in Mauthausen, whose cause of death was “suppuration of the rectum”
-Heinrich Bode, a transgender German sex worker with a Transvestitenschein who was murdered in Buchenwald after being put in “protective custody”
-Bella P, a transgender intersex Austrian sex worker, who was sent to the Natzweiler-Struthof concentration camp, then the Buchenwald subcamp Dora-Mittelbau - likely the place where she underwent forcible injections - then the Ravensbrück subcamp Peenemünde. Successfully overturned previous convictions and got reparations from the Nazis due to being intersex.
-Lucy Salani, a transgender political prisoner in Bernau and Dachau concentration camps, the sole Italian transgender survivor of any concentration camp

I know people love to think of ADHD as just “haha fun disorder” and being distracted and ditzy. But neurotypical people will never know the legitamate stress and pain of losing track of items in seemingly a second, all day, every day.
I set down my phone? It’s gone. I spend twenty minutes looking for it while on the border of tears because I just want my phone. It’s on a shelf three feet away, I can’t see it. I can’t trust myself to keep track of anything. I see a text? It’s gone the second I look away. I ghost someone for days and every time I remember I feel terrible.
It’s incredibly stressful! I know it’s easy to reduce something to simple terms, but please remember that it isn’t that simple. ADHD effects a persons life every waking moment. Lets not dimish the impacts.

My doctor and therapist: now with this autism + ADHD diagnosis you need to learn to unmask because masking all the time will make you burn out again and feel like shit
Other people: well it's just interesting how after getting the diagnosis you suddenly start behaving like that I mean I'm not saying you're faking it's just funny how you suddenly cannot be normal like you were before

Being labeled as "smart" is likely one of the reasons why I became an incel.
If you take away my math skills, I easily would have been in special ed as a child. I easily would have been labeled as "too stupid to amount to anything".
But because I'm good at math, I was labeled as "smart". The idea that I could struggle with anything mentally was nonsense to most people. Because I crave validation, I wanted to believe it. And I did believe it for quite some time.
I was made fun of regularly, because being autistic made me the "weird" kid everywhere I went. And when I complained about being made fun of, people would often reassure me that anyone who doesn't like me is just jealous, and that when I'm an adult, I'll be rich and those who made fun of me will be bums.
And I believed them. I didn't even try to be liked. I didn't even try to care how my actions affected people. I just assumed that if anyone doesn’t like me, it's because I'm smart. Many TV shows I watched, in which children who are smart are disliked, upheld that belief. I pretty much became exactly what you'd expect if you took the biggest idiot you can imagine and convinced him that he's smart, which often happens with conspiracy theorists.
In 6th grade, I had a teacher who at the time I thought was my favorite, but now I realize that he was possibly the meanest teacher I've ever had. He regularly humiliated the children who got bad grades. He compared them to me, saying that I'm going to be making six figures while they're working some low paying job. It felt good having a teacher praise me like that. I didn't notice how much of an asshole he was being because I wasn't the target. I began to crave that specific type of praise, in which others are put down and compared to me.
Naturally, people hated me for being conceited. And I continued to believe that they were just jealous of how smart I am.
In 7th grade, my math teacher didn't give me the same praise that my 6th grade teacher did. She actually had a problem with my conceited attitude. And I couldn't figure out why that was happening.
When I got to high school, and I started to find girls attractive, I decided that I wanted a social life. And since I spent years believing that being smart is why people didn't like me, I decided that I didn't want to be smart anymore. So I started proudly getting bad grades, openly having a nonchalant attitude about school, and finding creative ways to get detention. Of course, this didn't cause people to like me. They just thought I was a complete moron on top of being an asshole. They thought I was weirder than ever.
I don't expect that most incels would have had this exact experience, but there are likely some parts that many incels can relate to. For example, being made to feel "special", and being made to treat the people who I have the most in common with as my opposition.
When I stopped acting like I'm special and allowed myself to not be "smart" (but without exaggerating how stupid I am for attention), I realized that while I'm clearly different from the average person, there are plenty of people who I have a lot in common with.

It's important to remember that Luigi Mangione is being framed for murder. The "evidence" they have on him is absolute clown shoes absurd.
They're trying to win this by swaying public opinion. That's why they're doing movie deals about it and staging ridiculous photo ops.
They're gonna try to give this kid the death penalty to cover up for their own gross incompetence and in the hopes that they scare the working class out of trying to fight back.
Please don't help them do this by using his name as a synonym for political assassinations. Please do not perpetuate the idea that he's guilty.

What's frustrating about the Musk and Trump thing is that. Like.
It's a distraction.
Trump cancelling the subsidies to electric cars was a campaign promise. That was basically announced months ago, I think Musk just didn't expect Trump to go through with it
And Musk saying Trump is in the Epstein files, is like. We knew. The files are everyone that Epstein associated with, and Trump has photos with the guy. We all knew.
I mean, it's a lot of flash, but to me it does feel like a bit of a nothingburger?
It feels like a distraction.
Even if the emotions are genuine, Trump might be getting encouragement to blow up the relationship so that people are distracted from the many real problems of the Big Beautiful Bill. And also so that the Left feels like there's momentum on Damaging The Right As A Cohesive Block.
So we're distracted, instead of:
Noticing how many Republicans are saying "I wouldn't have voted yes if I'd actually read the BBB"
Paying attention to the new travel ban
Recognizing that this isn't really moving anything
Calling our senators about the insanely stupid tax breaks in the BBB
And any number of other government actions that are shaping up to have real and lasting impacts on us

HEY GUYS
Who wants to help ruin Trump's birthday?
Yup you heard that right. On June 14, Trump's birthday and also flag day, Trump is planning on having a pretty big military parade to be all like "I'm such a powerful king" and in response there's going to be HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of protests against his regime telling him to sit his ass back down.
The link below has more information and a map of currently planned protests. There's options in every single state. Even if you can't go, share this information, and consider reaching out to organizers of local protests to see if they need any logistical help. Chances are, they'll appreciate it.
