"boy is when guns, girl is when perfume and painted nails"
And you are going to tell me that trans identity doesn't thrive on gender stereotypes? (also, note the 1.9 thousand upvotes)

its amazing that "communists" can be pro-porn and sex work considering the literal communist manifesto identifies these as the commodification of women's bodies for bourgeois exploitation. like how are y'all losing to two men from the 1800s in the feminism game. embarassing.

woman thinks she's not a woman because she didn't care about women's beauty standards growing up and instead thought about wars, guns and cars. She then thinks we would actually give a shit about her interests.
What I do give a shit about is the blatant sex stereotyping. Only men think about wars guns and cars. Only women think about beauty standards and upholding feminine ideals. If you're a woman who thinks about the former then buckle up it's ~transition time~!

Someone sent me a letter that had one of the best quotes I've ever read. It said "What is to give light must endure burning." It's by a writer named Viktor Frankl. I've been turning that quote over and over in my head. The truth of it is absolutely awe-inspiring.
In the end, I believe it's why we all suffer. It's the meaning we all look for behind the tragedies in our lives. The pain deepens us, burns away our impurities and petty selfishness. It makes us capable of empathy and sympathy. It makes us capable of love. The pain is the fire that allows us to rise from the ashes of what we were, and more fully realize what we can become.
When you can step back and see the beauty of the process, it's amazing beyond words.

“You don’t owe prettiness to anyone. Not to your boyfriend/spouse/partner, not to your co-workers, especially not to random men on the street. You don’t owe it to your mother, you don’t owe it to your children, you don’t owe it to civilization in general. Prettiness is not a rent you pay for occupying a space marked ‘female.’”
