I know they are going to sexy and loving here, but how does this picture series not read as, A. Assualt, B. Necrophelia? You guys get he's biting her here, right?  By "you guys", I mean kids reading these books and thinking they are an ideal of romantic love. By "biting her" I mean, he is inflicting pain, as in hurting her to death. And it is fiction, so it could have played out anyway the author decided.  

While you are rewriting vampire mythology, why not have vampires give you a Sears gift card that grants eternal life of sleepless nights and glittery days, with free poutine wherever it's served, and an utter intolerance to being unwillingly dominated by 100 year old creepy boyfriends.  

You know, instead of being bitten to death with non-pointy teeth resulting in excruciating pain with a side of both passive-aggressive AND regular aggressive controlling behaviour. Forever.
