I'm feeling extra spongey today. The world's pain, micro and macro, is hitting me hard. And there's been a lot to feel. I get like this sometimes. The stories of immigrants, in particular, often leave me with this restless, reeling feeling. After this march though, I remember feeling powerful. It was different than other political events I've been to. It had (has) such a soul. I still draw on it. Today and always, keep highest in mind the people affected as leaders make critical decisions. As I'm sure you know, the big players get sufficient press but they don't feel quite the same punches. Love love love.
