Aedan allowed himself to be led, he would have allowed much more.    He was at Beth’s service, always had been and he wished he could take her somewhere safer more secluded but for now it would do.   He plopped on to the couch and wrapeded an arm around her.   “You have nothing to be ashamed of,” he promised her.  

His accent wasn’t rare, but all the same, it stirred something within her, but she covered it with a small smile, and tugged him to the couch in her rooms at magic school, and sat down–immediately curled into his side. “I wish this didn’t blow up in my face.”

Aedan nodded.   “Of course.”   He would stay for her.   Brian could wait, he would have a reprieve before Aedan became very creative in his means of punishment.    He was no saint--no witch who protected the innocent.   He was a wizard and he could be a damn vicious bastard when you harmed those he cared about.  Beth and her unborn child had been harmed.  

“Whatever mi’lady wishes,” his voices reverted to that of his accent when he inhabited Camelot.

There was a beat of silence at his question, before finally she shook her head. “Not really.” At this second, Wyatt was the only other one who knew because well..no one else really liked Brian and she wasn’t going to deal with that in this moment. “…could you stay?”
