Scourge x netrual!human!reader
(Because neutral is nothing like chaos or lawful)
Living With Trouble
Pairing: Scourge x Neutral!Human!Reader
Genre: Romance, Comedy, Slight Enemies-to-Lovers
Rating: M (Mature, +16)
Warnings: Aggressive flirting/insistent behavior, Reference to alcohol consumption, Suggestive themes, Light adult themes
A/N: I know it, you know it, we all know it, the world needs more Scourge. Thanks for the request! I can't even describe how much I enjoy writing stories with him. Especially because my first story here was with Scourge. So, if I can, I will never stop showing my appreciation to this insufferable green hedgehog. I hope you like it!
--*--
You didn’t know how you ended up in that place, but there you were. The room was dimly lit, with a flickering yellow light threatening to burn out at any moment. The strong smell of old frying oil, alcohol, and cigarettes filled the humid air, accompanied by the out-of-tune jukebox playing some random retro song that felt more like a crime to your ears.
Still, you sat at the counter, unmoved, for hours. Many other humans and Mobians had passed through the establishment, buying their poison of the day and leaving shortly after—some even stumbling out.
You looked at your glass of whiskey—it was still your first drink. The ice had already melted, diluting the alcohol and probably making the drink awful.
Your mind was distracted, lost in thought, when you heard it. The bell above the front door rang, announcing the arrival of another customer. The door creaked open, heavy footsteps followed, and at that moment, the bar seemed to fall completely silent.
All eyes turned toward the figure entering the place. For a second, you heard the constant rain outside and the cold breeze that hit your back, but that chill quickly disappeared with the bang of the door closing.
The footsteps continued. The messy green quills drew everyone’s attention—especially those who knew his reputation well. The signature ripped jacket, the sunglasses even indoors at night. And, of course, the infuriating little smirk he always wore.
Scourge stopped in the middle of the bar, his blue eyes scanning the room eagerly, analyzing each person present. His goal was clear: to find another perfect girl for the night—didn’t matter if she was human or Mobian.
He began to walk more slowly, and the patrons started looking away, uninterested in his antics. The women whispered among themselves, giggling quietly as they stared at him.
But after a long minute of observation, the green hedgehog noticed one person—just one—who didn’t seem interested in him at all. Not in his entrance, nor in his search for company.
With a smirk, he immediately knew who he had chosen.
Taking long strides, he approached the counter, climbing onto the stool and leaning his elbows on it, watching the side of your face and your indifferent expression. That intrigued him—it made him want to get closer, like a curious cat exploring the unknown.
You held your glass, bringing it to your lips, sipping a bit and feeling the burning taste of the whiskey.
“Hey, you there… Ya don’t look too impressed…” He raised an eyebrow, noticing you still hadn’t moved, showing no interest in him. “Tell me somethin’, what’s your name? Or can I just call ya ‘Biggest Challenge of the Year,’ huh?” He chuckled softly, flashing a toothy side-smile.
“You can call me ‘Busy,’ it works better…” you replied dryly, not taking your eyes off your drink, showing no interest whatsoever.
The hedgehog let out a raspy, muffled laugh, looking slightly offended—it wasn’t the response he was expecting. But that only made him even more intrigued. It had been a long, long time since he’d felt this way while talking to a girl.
He leaned in slightly, keeping his smug expression.
“Whew, finally—finally—a girl who don’t pass out just 'cause I smiled. That’s rare, doll.” His eyes quickly scanned your body from head to toe. “You’re either real smart… or just plain stubborn.” He rested his chin on his hand, not breaking eye contact for even a second.
You slowly lifted your eyes to meet his, then returned to staring at your glass, still unfazed.
Scourge blinked once, then again, mouth slightly open in surprise. A long silence hung between the two of you. It was the first time he didn’t have a quick comeback. Clearing his throat softly, he pulled himself together, smiling again.
With each passing second, he felt more genuinely curious and attracted to your serious, composed demeanor.
“A’right, a’right, girl. You win this round… But lemme tell ya—I love the long games. 'Specially when the prize is a gorgeous lady like you.” He waited for any reaction to his compliment, but you remained focused on your glass. His smile grew even wider. “You know, I betcha in less than three dates you’ll be laughin’ at my jokes and fallin’ for me.”
You raised an eyebrow at him.
“And I bet you don’t know how to handle rejection without turning it into some dumb bet.”
Scourge leaned back from the counter, standing up straight now, crossing his arms. His eyes sparkled with fascination—he was completely captivated by you. That usual flirtation of his hadn’t worked the way he was used to. It had turned into a mental and verbal duel—and he was loving every second of it.
You’re good at this… Leavin’ me totally speechless.” he whispered to you with a playful tone. “Dangerous. I should be scared, huh, girl?”
Closing your eyes, you sighed deeply, downing the last sip of your whiskey, feeling it burn down your throat.
“Actually, you should’ve left already…” you replied dryly as you got up from your seat and began to walk out of the bar.
But Scourge wasn’t going to let you slip away that easily.
He got up quickly, running toward you and grabbing your hand.
“Hey—don’t go so fast, now…” He pulled you closer to him. Despite his lean frame, his strength was impressive. “One chance… Promise ya won’t regret it, babe…”
His eyes still sparkled with fascination and admiration. That smug smile was gone—replaced by a genuine smile of happiness as he held your hand gently.
What harm could it do to give the hedgehog a chance in the end? At least you might score a free dinner.
--*--
Your hands held boxes with your belongings. Placing one on the bed, you began pulling out your perfume bottles, deodorants, and various personal hygiene items.
Your eyes scanned the dresser, figuring out the best way to fit everything without taking up the chaotic green hedgehog’s space.
Hearing footsteps approaching, you didn’t even bother to look toward the noise. Scourge stood at the bedroom door, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed over his chest, watching you closely, a smirk on his face.
“Well, ain’t this somethin’? Now I got a human messin’ up my stuff…” he teased, using the most sarcastic tone he could manage, waiting for your response.
“Relax. The last thing I wanted was to share space with a hedgehog who thinks he’s a punk rock star from the 2000s.” The reply was quick, dry—not giving him a second to reflect.
Scourge laughed loudly, stepping away from the door and walking toward you.
“I’m startin’ to think you weren’t kiddin’…”
“Do you still have doubts?” You pulled out your hairbrush, placing it on top of the vanity.
“Ouch… that one stung, babe…” he chuckled softly, sitting on the edge of the bed. “Damn… That’s why I adore ya—you keep me on my toes.” He stared at your back, with the same look of fascination he had that night at the bar.
“Why did I move in with you again?” you asked rhetorically.
“Because you love me, right?”
“I don’t think I’ll ever know why I agreed to move in here…” you muttered, shaking your head as you placed the last of your products on the vanity.
“Cruel. Real cruel.” He laughed, getting up.
That’s when you felt his arms wrap around your waist from behind. He clung to you tightly, but you remained still—not moving a muscle.
“…You really ain’t gonna react? Not even after this bear hug?” he murmured, pressing his muzzle into your back. His voice was muffled. He was trying to sound teasing, but to your ears, it came off differently—more needy, even a little sappy for someone like him. And that was totally strange.
Sighing, you placed your hands over his, turning your head slightly to look at the hedgehog, who still hid his face against your back.
“If you’re trying to win me over with affection, you’re wasting your time. I’m immune to these cheap manipulation attempts,” you said seriously, despite the little smirk forming on your lips.
“Okay, but what if it’s premium emotional manipulation? Comes with drama, shiny eyes… lil’ bit of melancholy too.”
Scourge hugged you a bit tighter, squeezing impossibly closer to you. He let out a long sigh against your back, sending a small shiver down your spine.
Raising an eyebrow, you crossed your arms.
“Are you seriously acting out a romantic drama right now?”
“Shhh. I’m tryna connect with my vulnerable side, woman. Take the chance—this don’t happen often.” He replied, slightly lifting his muzzle from your back.
For a moment, the room fell silent. Only the sound of his breathing behind you could be heard, while the hedgehog stayed clung to you. He inhaled deeply, letting out a pleased hum.
“I still can’t believe ya actually moved in here… Feels like a dream, babe.”
His voice came out a bit hoarse. He rested his face against your waist, watching your expression closely through the reflection in the vanity mirror.
Your eyes met his blue ones through the reflection. In that moment, with that look, Scourge looked more like a needy cat than a delinquent hedgehog, with half-lidded eyes, quills sticking out in every direction after rubbing himself against your back.
He closed his eyes again, inhaling deeply, sniffing at your waist.
"Scourge..."
"Hmm?..."
"Are you... sniffing my scent?"
His eyes opened quickly, wide.
“…Can’t help it, alright? It’s addictive. Smells like, I dunno… a really hot girl with a hint of passive threat.” He let out a husky laugh.
You closed your eyes for a second. It was hard to decide in that moment whether you wanted to laugh or smack him upside the head.
"You’re a complete disappointment as a flirt, you know that?"
“But I’m a total success story as a ridiculously smitten boyfriend—come on, gimme some credit here.” He let go of you, laughing, turning to the bed and sprawling across it, hugging the pillow.
You turned, looking at him, keeping your arms crossed and your expression unreadable.
“Look at me… defeated. I used to be a villain, y’know? Had a rep, cool jackets, killer poses… And now? I’m losin’ my mind ‘cause you put your creams next to my deodorant.” He gave a goofy smile, showing his fangs, pointing to where your hair cream was on the vanity.
"And that bothers you?"
“No! It turns me on in a deeply disturbin’ way—which is way worse!” The hedgehog buried his muzzle in the pillow, yelling, his voice muffled as he pushed his head deeper into it like he was having an existential meltdown.
You chuckled softly. For the first time that day, you laughed for real — the kind you couldn’t hold back.
He raised his face, a hopeful smile on his muzzle.
“Did I hear that right? You laughed, yeah, babe?”
"Don’t get used to it." With one hand on your hip, you glared at him.
“Oh, I’m printin’ this moment. Goin’ on a poster. Hell, it’s my new ringtone now.” He crawled to the edge of the bed, chin resting on his hands, looking at you with those sly blue eyes and a dumb grin on his face.
You subtly rolled your eyes.
"Get up. Come help me put away the towels and clothes." Turning your attention back to your stuff, you grabbed another box from the floor and opened it to unpack it.
“Only if ya promise me one more smile like that before the day’s over.”
"If you manage not to flood the entire bathroom after your shower, maybe."
He gave a dramatic bow, getting up.
“Mission accepted. For you? I’ll even keep the toilet lid down.”
"Wow. A miracle."
Scourge jumped off the bed, grabbed the towels from the box, and strutted out of the room with a confident, smug air. After he left, you sighed, looking back at the dresser, where your things were scattered among his.
Maybe, just maybe, sharing space with that insufferable green creature wasn’t the worst thing in the world.
--*--
Stretching your arms, you yawned, stepping out of the room early in the morning. Grumbling softly, you rubbed your eyes, walking slowly toward the kitchen, already smelling breakfast in the air — even if you weren’t entirely confident in Scourge’s cooking skills.
Stopping at the kitchen doorway, you watched the green hedgehog, without his iconic jacket, just his sunglasses perched on his head. He held a spatula, flipping some bacon and eggs in a frying pan.
After a few seconds watching him, you started to approach, stopping beside him, arms crossed, observing how he made breakfast. You looked at him holding the spatula like he knew what he was doing. Apparently, culinary survival wasn’t among his crimes. Still, it smelled good... strangely good.
“Mornin’, babe. I’m preparin’ our feast.” He gave a sly little smile, watching you slowly.
The hedgehog set the spatula on the stove and turned fully to face you.
“Not even a good mornin’ kiss?” he said playfully.
"I don’t want to feel anything on my mouth that isn’t my coffee cup."
“Ouch… that’s a shame. ‘Cause the first thing I wanted on my lips was you.” He let out a husky laugh.
You subtly rolled your eyes, then lowered yourself, your face nearing his, and you pressed your lips to his muzzle, capturing his lips in a quick kiss. Scourge let out a surprised grunt but melted into the quick kiss. When you pulled back, he was once again wearing that dumb grin, eyes locked on you.
"You’re burning breakfast." You said quietly, looking at the bacon and eggs starting to scorch in the pan.
“And I only wanna burn in your heat…” He winked.
"You’re not wasting that bacon and eggs — you’re eating it burnt." You said flatly. Scourge laughed, quickly grabbing the spatula to take the food off the pan, switching off the heat.
“Always so sharp…” His eyes scanned you from head to toe. “I don’t think I’ll ever understand how I like you so damn much.”
"I don’t encourage your terrible personality." You replied seriously, sitting at the table.
“I love when you snap at me, girl—makes me feel alive. But I think you’re right. You’re a babe who didn’t give me the time o’ day and still roasted me… how could I not fall for that?”
He grabbed a plate, placed the bacon and eggs on it, poured some orange juice into a glass, and brought it to the table, setting it in front of you.
"How kind of you."
“Anything for my babe… Come on, admit it—you’re so in love with me.” He flashed a smug smile.
"Sure, it’s on my future regrets list." You shot back, not taking your eyes off your breakfast.
Scourge laughed genuinely, moving his muzzle closer to you and planting a quick kiss on your forehead. You narrowed your eyes at the contact but didn’t pull away, letting him linger.
“Damn… never thought I’d wanna have kids with a human so bad.” He pulled out a chair and sat beside you.
"Good thing you only want to — ‘cause being able to is a whole different story..."
“Alright, seriously now… I love you, babe…” he whispered in your ear, making your eyes widen slightly.
"Right back at you..." you replied, making Scourge break into a mischievous smile.
“What was that? Don’t think I heard ya—mind repeatin’ it?” He cupped his hand around his ear, pretending to listen harder. You closed your eyes, huffing, knowing he wouldn’t leave you alone until you admitted it.
"Tsk. Fine, you win... I love you too, Scourge. But just for today."
You looked away, feigning sudden interest in the kitchen tiles.
“Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about. Thanks, babe. Now enjoy your breakfast.” He nudged you with his elbow, laughing.
Your eyes returned to your plate — that hedgehog. You’d probably never understand how he managed to get you to date him, just like he’d probably never understand how he liked you this much.
--*--
The bed creaked in a low echo, the old wood giving away the fierce rhythm that had shaken the room minutes earlier. Now, the only thing present was the sound of breathing — irregular, spaced out, with hearts pounding — filling the silence of the space.
The apartment’s dim light was broken by small golden beams from the streetlights filtering through the half-open blinds. It gave just enough light to reveal part of your body and Scourge’s heaving chest, still moving, but barely, as if it were a final effort to stay inside.
His fur, like his scars, gleamed under the dim light, damp with sweat clinging to it.
Then, he finally stopped, his hips pressing into yours in one last heavy sigh, and he stayed there. He lowered his body, resting over yours, the sweaty fur sticking to your skin. He rested his cheek on your ribcage, feeling your panting breath. Smiling in satisfaction, he pressed his muzzle to your skin, giving you a soft kiss.
He let out a husky chuckle, eyes closed, and started grazing his sharp teeth against your skin, sending a shiver through you.
You stayed silent, unhurried. Just calming your breathing, waiting for your heartbeat to return to normal.
Scourge sighed, still pressing his face to your ribs. He lifted his head slightly, just enough for his blue eyes to focus on your face.
“You still alive over there?” he murmured hoarsely, a touch of gentleness in his voice.
"Mhm… starting to feel my legs again..." you replied quietly, eyes open, focused on the bedroom floor.
Slowly, he pulled out of you, feeling the warmth slip away with it. Grunting, he sprawled beside you, his clawed hands grabbing your waist, pulling you close, seeking your warmth.
The hedgehog’s hand reached for the discarded sheet beside you, found it, and with clumsy movements, threw it over the two of you. Then, his hand rested on your hip, caressing you gently, his thumb tracing slow circles.
His muzzle nestled into the curve of your neck, inhaling your comforting scent and the musky aroma of what you had just done.
You quickly settled in, resting your head atop his, feeling his quills—not bristled, but soft and fluffy.
Your hand rested on the fur of his chest, your fingers beginning to trace its contours, feeling the fur, lightly brushing over the scars. When you first met, his fur seemed scruffy, rough. But now, in the closeness of intimacy, you finally noticed—it was soft and pleasant to the touch.
When your fingers slid down his back, he let out a hiss of pain.
“Hurt?” you whispered, realizing maybe your nails had done more damage than you intended just moments ago.
“Only my pride… from moanin’ too much…” Scourge murmured softly against your neck. You snorted, letting out a quiet, nasal laugh.
“So dramatic... you’re so fragile and sensitive sometimes...”
“Not my fault...” he replied with a small smile against your neck.
For a long moment, you stayed there, wrapped in each other, in that comfortable silence. Exchanging small, slow touches, fingers tracing the curve of your hip, your hand rubbing the fur of his back in circles, sighs of contentment.
No exaggerated confessions, just the intimacy the two of you shared.
Scourge ran his fingers through your hair with an uncommon gentleness for the green hedgehog. His fingers slowly untangled the knots. He pulled away a little from your neck, his blue eyes focusing on yours.
“Want me to grab some water or somethin’?” he asked softly.
You shook your head no.
“I’ll get it later...” And with that, your arms wrapped more tightly around him.
Scourge sighed in contentment. He liked this—this relationship. He could be himself, without judgment, without pointless fights, without exaggeration. Just something true, pure, and neutral. And he would certainly do everything he could to keep it that way forever.

Vanilla x amy rose father!reader romantic headcanons
(I love the idea of cream and amy being stepsisters)
”Mother and Father’s Know Best.”
Vanilla The Rabbit x Amy Rose’s Father!Reader
Author’s Note: Oh my god this is CUTE! ALSO VANILLA MENTIONED I LOVE HERR (sorry vector lmao).

You met Vanilla through your daughter, Amy Rose.
Vanilla and You got along very well with you two loving the quiet life style and tea.
Cream and Amy tried to get you two together since they know they’ve been very lonely for quite a long while even if you and Vanilla denied.
Amy and Cream were determined.
The more you’ve spent with Vanilla, you always found yourself going over to her place or her going over to yours.
And wham, feelings. You two started developing feels with each other and wanted to make sure the confession was honest and done beautifully.
You and Vanilla went out to a fancy restaurant and grabbed lunch and dinner over there.
Amy and Cream watching over from the sidelines making sure nothing goes wrong.
You both had the best time, once Michael Jackson’s songs started playing, you got out of your seat.
Leaving Vanilla confused until you handed your hand out to her.
”May I have this dance with you?” You asked her.
She smiled and giggled and took your hand.
”The pleasure is all mine.” She said.
You two started to sync and started dancing beautifully with each other with whatever song was playing.
After that, you two hung outside on a patio, watching the stars shine.
You looked at Vanilla, looking beautiful as ever.
Took a deep breath and got the bouquet out and ready.
Amy and Cream watching from the bushes getting giggly and excited from watching.
You caught Vanilla’s attention.
”Vanilla, ever since I’ve met you, you have been nothing but kind to me and I didn’t know what to say, you are kind hearted, caring and beautiful, raising a beautiful and sweet daughter.” You said.
Vanilla’s face flushed as she replies back.
”Oh I don’t know what to say Y/N, you are the same, such a gentleman and good-hearted man who too raised a strong and loving daughter.” She said.
Both of your faces started to flush, you then held her hand and hand her the bouquet of flowers she loves.
”Vanilla, would you love to be my partner, for ever and ever?” You asked.
Vanilla smiles widens more as she happily accepts the bouquet of flowers.
”Of course.” She replies.
You two share a kiss, and Amy and Cream share lots of excitement.
Now that you two been together, Amy and Cream we’re excited now having a family, Amy having Vanilla as her stepmum and screaming have you as her stepdad.
Everyone was happy for you both.
You and Vanilla enjoyed each other’s company and would never change it, now having a happy family.
Author’s Note: I hope you loved this one! One of my favourite definitely!

Amy x female!reader who acts like a tsudere
”Denial is a Love Language.”
Amy Rose x Tsudere!Female!Reader
Author’s Note: Thanks for this request! Love my girl, Amy Rose.
Amy Rose

HOW YOU TWO MET:
The first time you two met it wasn’t really nice to begin with.
For starters, you were just straight up aloof, or irritated with anyone and stubborn, while Amy was more on the kind, caring and sweet side.
So you two clashed a bit at first but Amy did wanted to try to have a normal conversation with you.
It was very hard considering how stubborn you are but it was worth it at the end, she got to know you and you got to know her.
Eventually you two became very good friends (with some few banter here and then).
You started developing feelings for you and so did she, you both took it on different paths.
Amy was pretty happy, gushing over how cute you acted when you got mad and loved your smile when you talked about your interests.
You took it differently however, not in a bad way just thinking that someone as sweet, kind, caring and loving as Amy could never love someone like you, who was always picking fights.
Amy was pretty persistent and was a huge lover of romanticism, so she kept buying you gifts of what you like, your favourite flowers, takes you on restaurant, gardens and even star gazing.
You always blushed infront of Amy which she teased you for it and you denied your blush but your face betrayed you.
You two did give her gifts as well, you always said at the end “Don’t get the wrong idea! It’s not like I like you or anything!”
Amy found this cute and hilarious.
One day, you told Amy to meet somewhere which she agreed to, and as soon as you meet, you started confessing to her, when you finished and confessed she happily and joyfully accepted.
As much as you didn’t admit it, you were undeniably happy and wouldn’t change this for the world.
RELATIONSHIP HEADCANONS:
You and Amy have a dynamic of “Soft but Stern” and “Prickly but Sweet Inside.”
Amy would always have to keep you in line and made sure you wouldn’t run off to fight anyone who ever dared looked at your girlfriend weird.
You would always lookout for Amy if anyone was making moves, making fun of her or doing anything to hurt her feelings, you wouldn’t let that slide.
When going on dates, you two would take turns on where to go, Amy would take you to fancy restaurants, theme parks or at her house. You choose whatever you choose.
Everyone like Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge and etc think both of our dynamics are cute.
Shadow and Knuckles are very protective of Amy, they make sure you treat her right due to your stubborn and aloof behaviour (honestly that’s real of them, you better treat her like a queen bro). But aside from that, they both respect your protectiveness over Amy and how you respect her boundaries. Even as someone who’s aloof you never cross someone’s lines.
Rouge and Sonic tease you both which you don’t take it lightly and take it personally, but Rouge loves your feisty attitude and so does Sonic with your sarcasm, but they both feel the same way too, treat Amy right? Okay? Okay.
Tails doesn’t mind so he congratulates you both, though he is a bit intimidated by you cause of your attitude.
You two don’t have fights regularly but when it does happen, it happens because of the way you view things differently, but you hate staying away from each other so you two talk each other and work it all out.
Amy’s love language is gifts, physical touch and words of affirmation, she gives you so much gifts you can’t keep count, loves hugging and cuddling you, just to feel your warm body and letting you know how much she loves you.
Despite your aloof attitude, you really do feel bad the way you act, you always feel insecure and envious of Amy’s caring and sweet personality, Amy notices this and reassures you every time.
”You are good enough just the way you are sweetheart, I love you for who you are, isn’t that what love’s all about? Trust, honesty and vulnerability? It’s okay to feel these things but don’t you ever doubt that I don’t love you, I love you forever, not even death can stop that.”
Despite your contrasting personalities, you both make it work out, love each other for who you guys are. You and Amy wouldn’t change it for anyone.
BONUS: Shadow, Knuckles and Sonic are lesbian protectors.
Author’s Note: Thanks for this request! Loved writing Amy Rose!
