my mom, dead in the middle of a conversation, slams on the breaks in the middle of a country road so she can pull over and take a picture of all these cows running for cover from the rain and adsfkjlfkdjg and thi dskfjfgj

The yarn! It's been shipped it's been shipped!!
I am once again teetering on the edge of falling victim to my own over-ambition and hubris. Having never crocheted anything larger than a mid-sized amigurumi (about a week's work), I am considering purchasing a positively inhuman amount of yarn to crochet 2.5 m² worth of blanket from a show I only began watching a week ago - as always, without any pattern or gauge to go off of. Will I buy too much yarn? Too little? If anyone knows they're certainly not me. Would wool yarn be too scratchy, or would acrylic be too cold? Is it even the right weight and colour? If I ever finish this project it will be out of sheer spite and bull-headedness because the loose pattern I have drafted for myself is devoid of even the slightest interest or variation. It's gonna be several months (years?) worth of Monotony™². It's just a single Huge granny square which keeps going a for a bit longer along either edge to make it rectangular. I don't even particularly like the colours. I just suddenly have a mighty need to wrap myself up in one of these and because it's crochet, that's not gonna happen unless I make it myself. So in conclusion... fuck me I guess?

When I was younger and researching the autism diagnosis criteria and symptoms, I thought “oh I couldn’t POSSIBLY be autistic.” Because when I read “takes everything literally” I thought it literally meant EVERYTHING and I was like “I don’t take EVERYTHING literally, just most things!” And I just realized the other day that it didn’t actually mean EVERYTHING and that was an overstatement.

In the writing of season 3 of Good Omens (and maybe even the previous seasons) are you completely free on what you write or does Amazon Prime prohibit you from certain things and limit you/ encourage you to introduce particular things (which are not particularly planned by you originally) ?
Are you alone or accompanied by people from Amazon in the writing?
I hope this is understandable
Nobody from Amazon Prime has suggested anything be put in to Good Omens or removed from Good Omens. They are keen to discuss the practicality of making things, of budgets and such, but they seem very happy to let us make the show we want to make.
