Also hey, big mood I don’t use this blog anymore I moved! I moved to the source of this post, but I keep finding new followers on this blog, so I am reblogging this Important Information(tm) and also using it to give u a heads up at the same time

I’d just like to say this as a general thing, and not at anyone specifically but more to newcomers to Sally Face

Hi, yeah, please don’t hate or shit on people’s art because it has Sal and Larry in a ship. A lot of that content is 

A) Months old at this point because that has been a ship people have loved since the start of the game (december 14 2016), 

B) The art is probably still up because the artist worked really really hard on it and really enjoyed how much they improved and how much of their time and skill they put into it (art and fanfics both!), 

C)Steve Gabry has liked many of those works and has never said anything negative about that ship thus far, and is very open to answering questions from fans and mentioning things! 

D) They met as friends first and foremost, their parents got married when Sal and Larry are into their late teens. They aren’t blood related and were not brought up as a family. So some people want to keep shipping that. And Its their choice to ship it, and your choice to continue looking at it if you don’t like it

E) Deciding you do not like something and using one of the many extensions to blacklist it, and using your own willpower to not search it out and to just skip over it or back out of a page when you do see it is fully in your power. You do not have to participate in looking at it, creating for it, and you also most definitely do not have to say mean and nasty things to people about it.

If this is not you- keep doing you and being awesome. If you are new and don’t know whats up, please take this in to account. You guys can spend your energy making things you’d prefer to see, rather than trying to take down someone who likes something that was established as a popular and accepted ship in 2016. You can dislike it as much as you want, but please reconsider being rude and hurtful to creators. The world has enough negativity in it, and with all the big changes happening to tumblr and to different parts of the world in relation to creative works, it is already hard enough for people to keep doing what they are doing.

A lot of these creators are making something, and using their energy to create. A good number of them are probably using it as stress relief and a way to recharge themselves from life’s stress with something they enjoy. Theres probably a few out there who have taken the new information from The Trial, and have decided they don’t want to continue creating that content, but want to leave up older work because people enjoyed it and its a milestone in their creative story and a part of their creative history.

  Please take your energy and use it to uplift people you mesh with, and to support the ships and aus and things you enjoy rather than using your energy to shit on/degrade/discourage others. 

Nothing is illegal or immoral in people wanting to ship two consenting, unrelated adult characters. 

Nothing is illegal or immoral in you deciding you don’t like that and leaving it to find something you do like and creating more content and discussion for what you do enjoy.

It is unkind, rude, and hurtful to blast people with hateful comments and inflammatory suggestions and urging people to harm themselves over fictional characters. Fictional Characters who are Unrelated Adults and Consenting in most of the works. Fictional lives are not more important than the very real life of the creator. And your life does not need to be marred by negative energy of focusing on something you dislike. You can move on to things you enjoy, you are capable of that.

Ugh, why does it have to be 3 am, thats so unnerving. I can’t call Sal right now either, dude’s so exhausted lately… Man I don’t even know if I want to talk about this one to him…

Justbgetting back to my home town tonight. We had a lot of fun and its cemented now that I'm going to be at least wanderig outside Anime North cosplaying as Larry with a Sal and possibly very likely an Ashley!

The Sal and I bought some earrings today for it, we been looking at cosplay pieces the whole trip and looking for paint for their mask. Figured out some cute ideas for photos. And just gonna crash/unwind/im gonna do some drawing for a few days.

We had a badass trip and its been really Sally Face heavy because I am super obsessed and my friend is so chill about letting me talk about it nonstop.

Anyway!! ✌ back to queueing soon and making more content. Got some touristy photos to sallify and some drunk doodles and ramblings to ficify, aaaand been working on the next chapter of Shut Up, Larry Face on and off the whole trip and got a good chunk on it

We did some photos and i think i posted one of? And took a bunch at Parliment, and I plan on basically drawing those/drawing over those because we did it in cosplay and bc itd be fun (school trip au? Ghost hunting au? Heck who care my friend and i are super dorks and wanted to have fun au? Who knows)

Planning on a ghost walk before i head home and will probably meme the shit out of that/sf it up
