ATTENTION! NEW BLOG!

Hello everyone! I am Dantro Ziman, more known as @ffxivdantro! You might know me as the 19 year old ishgardian healer, Sailor Dalamud or simply Danny Boy.

Because of Tumblr forcing several accounts to reset their passwords recently, I lost my account because I was unable to reach the e-mail that was attached to it. Seeing that Staff refuses to do anything about this and instead tell the affected to make new accounts, I’ve been forced to do just that. While I do have access from my phone, it is impossible for me to make any posts without a lot of struggle, and I simply cannot be bothered.

It pains me to leave my old account behind, considering I had several blogs attached to it that were all a few years old. My FFXIV blog in particular is hard to abandon.

I had followers that were super supportive, I got lots of notes on several posts of mine in the past and my name seemed to be something people recognized ingame when they saw me. @ffxivdantro is a blog I will always have lots of good memories with and I will always miss it.

HOWEVER…

I won’t give up on my FFXIV and character blogging in general, so here I am with my new blog! I will continue making posts as usual and pester your dashboard.

NOW I NEED YOUR HELP.

This happened to me, I am LUCKY to still have access to my blog through my phone but from my computer? Nope, can't access.

I hope they have a solution for this soon, because this is a huge problem.

So yeah in case people wonder why I suddenly become inactive, this is why.

We recently learned that a third party had obtained access to a set of Tumblr user email addresses with salted and hashed passwords from early 2013, prior to the acquisition of Tumblr by Yahoo. As soon as we became aware of this, our security team thoroughly investigated the matter. Our analysis gives us no reason to believe that this information was used to access Tumblr accounts. As a precaution, however, we will be requiring affected Tumblr users to set a new password.
