I Hate That We Physically Run Into the Reverie…

Because there is lost potential of us being LITERALLY trapped in our own nightmares. Instead of physically prancing the Astral Plane we are *asleep* like Mellori. It’s our job to go find her in the Reverie so to the Reverie we send ourselves yeah? We allow ourselves to lie down and sleep on the grass in the cave, being lulled to the other side with every second.

The inception potential wasted in the concept of Mellori waking up but us *not*. Beans and Bat realizing that in the process of saving one soul another has become trapped. Except, this time it’s unwillingly. Grandfather spider having locked us in our nightmares has effectively managed to take Bartelby’s Scion out of the equation (until Mallistaire Drake helps us out for once) and can continue forth with his plans.

We thrash and pant as we’re forced to face multitudes of tiny Morganthes and see vivid flashes of Dragonspyre and Xibalba. We’re forced to watch everyone around us prey on our downfall…

There’s wasted potential in us not seeing a visage of life on Earth without us.

I think that’s what we fear most, to see the time that’s passed and the people we’ve lost. A lost child case gone cold with parents sobbing over an empty grave as they assume we’re dead. Friends and siblings if we have any going silent staring at our empty desk. However things progress quickly and for those on earth life goes on, they move on, that’s the Young Wizard’s greatest fear.

Being forgotten.

And when Grandfather Spider sees our greatest fear be something so intimately simplistic. He feels a pang of pity, perhaps it’s because his heart is now closer to him, but seeing the utter hollowing in our face he eases the nightmare. We’re able to break free and we wake up, but not without tears streaming down our face. Everyone asks what’s wrong.

We can’t offer an answer…

I had a dream last night where Dyvim and the Spellbinder were lying on a grassy field of vibrant, joyful flowers in the Last Wood in the middle of a sunny afternoon, just gazing at the clouds, waiting for sunset.

Then he began to decorate the Spellbinder's hair with some Sun Flowers he plucked from the fields.

The last thing he said before my dream was rudely interrupted was, "I like it when you have flowers in your hair, Spellbinder."
