GOAT Eurovision Winner Showdown

Welcome to the GOAT Eurovision Winner Showdown!

Through the next weeks, we will poll one Eurovision winner against another until only one of them remains. This winner shall be bestowed the honor of being crowned the Greatest Eurovision Winner of All Time™. (Yes, the goat image is because GOAT stands for Greatest Of All Time)

The tournament will feature all 70 winners of the Eurovision Song Contest. And if you're thinking "wait, but there's only 69 (nice)!", worry not, because this year's ESC is around the corner (9th, 11th and 13th of May), and by the time we make it to the last poll of round one, we will already have our 70th winner.

Would neutral run endings from undertale count? Like in multiple endings non-royals are appointed to be the king/queen/empress after the whole main royal family is wiped out/ousted. Like for Instance If you kill Undyne, Toriel, and Mettaton you get the King Papyrus ending. He's not a born royal but he's now been appointed by the people. The line of succession in UT is

Asgore (Current King)

Toriel (Former Queen who exiled herself because of Asgore, they were married)

Undyne (she can overthrow Toriel and become queen in certain endings, backed by the people, but if Toriel dies Undyne becomes queen by default, she's the head of the royal guard and is implied to be like a daughter to Asgore)

(Alphys would probably go here because she's the royal scientist but the conditions are very specific to killing MTT and Undyne without Alphys also dying, which includes the next two in line dying as well which kind of reorders her to the bottom?)

Mettaton (most popular monster in the underground, their only celebrity, I think he appoints himself King but no one stops him)

Papyrus (He is the mayor in every way but title of one of the major areas in the Underground, was best friends with Undyne, he is appointed by the people)

Alphys (nearly all the other non-major characters also need to be wiped out, in addition to all major characters so she doesn't die)

There's two endings where they abolish the monarchy. One is an anarchy ending (all major characters killed and a large portion of regular monsters, failed conditions for Queen Alphys), and in another they elect a dog president (Only the major characters killed, wiping out the entire line of succession).

So anyways would they count?

you can nominate them, but whether they make the bracket will depend on the number of nominations they get. also only 2 characters can be a part of the tournament, so even if several characters get multiple nominations each, only 2 will make it. otherwise it's gonna turn into, in this case, an undertale tournament.

Are we allowed to propagandise for nominations? I would love for Double King from the very popular short film Double King (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_MSFkZHNi4) to get in, but due to being from a short film I suspect he's not exactly a character people are likely to think of when nominating. He sure is a character though.

yes you can! characters with the most nominations will be in the tournament, so you can use propaganda to get mire people to nominate them.
