Standing before me [was] a cross like crystal, clearer and whiter than crystal. And through it a great space was visible. And in front of the cross I saw a seat like a disc, more radiant than the sun in its most radiant power and beneath the disc three columns... And in the middle under the disc, a whirlpool revolved in such a frightful manner and was so terrible to see that heaven and earth would be astonished and made fearful by it. The seat that resembled a disk was eternity.
The three pillars were the three names by which the wretched ones who are far from Love understand him. The pillar like fire is the name of the Holy Ghost. The pillar like topaz is the name of the Father. The pillar like amethyst is the name of the Son. The profound whirlpool, which is so frightfully dark, is divine fruition in its hidden storms. On this mighty seat sat the one whom I was seeking and with whom I desired to be one in fruition.

When Marcia was trying to heal from the abuse she had suffered from her boyfriend’s and her dad’s messages about the second-class status of women, she had a mystical experience of the Divine Feminine. She was questioning whether or not she was really created in the divine image, and she heard Mother God say to her, “Just as your daughter looks like you, you look like me.”…
Marcia envisions a Black Madonna, surrounded by rays of light, embracing the earth: “She is affecting all these different situations for women around the world. I see the images of all the abused girls being empowered.”

I think it’s silly to say that using crystals is idolatry. It’s just using a tool. I assume you’re not worshiping the crystals.
As for the moon, there are moon celebrations in the Bible (e.g. Psalm 81:1-3, Colossians 2:16) and the psalmists praise God for the moon (e.g. Psalm 8 and Psalm 104).
If you’re a Christian who feels called to nature, I suggest looking into creation spirituality. There’s plenty of support for this religious tradition in the Bible and Christian history. How could it be a sin to appreciate God’s handiwork?
You might appreciate this article which is based on a book of the same name by the same author: https://uscatholic.org/articles/201907/connect-with-god-and-the-earth-by-praying-with-the-four-elements/
This just a stupid post of me trying to untangle my brain so please feel free to just scroll along
I'm fed up with the crossroads of believing in Jesus but missing paganism.
I don't care about church. I don't believe in a lot of the restriction that Christianity today makes me feel. I also don't believe it's right to worship the moon or that I can manipulate reality. But I MISS my magical thinking. I WISH I could get that mindset back.
I look back on a lot of the things I used to do or say and often feel embarrassed. I was wayy ungrounded. But I also dream about the comfort that it brought at times.
And then I think.. why isn't Jesus enough?? Why can't I just feel whole and comforted by Him and not yearn to feel the psychic tendrils of nature in my life again?
If I dive back into the otherworld will there be room for Him there? If I let my sensitivities tell me what a certain crystal's vibration is and carry it with me is that idolatry? If the moon makes me feel entranced when I gaze at it on a bright night am I wrong for that?
I don't align at all with the core values of witchcraft but I feel called to nature. Not to worship it, not to bend it to my will, but to just commune and feel the whimsy I used to feel.
I don't even know. I'm sensitive and just want to melt into the earth but the only belief I feel secure about is that Jesus is the way.

Medievalists speculate that the wound, pictured as a slit in Jesus’s side emitting blood and clear liquid, led some mystics to imagine other bodily slits that emanate blood and clear fluids. [...] Additionally, the blood of Jesus’s wounds is said to bring forth life; likewise, life is brought forth through the blood-discharging female sexual organ.
The idea of Jesus’s side wound being like a womb then led to artists showing a female — either baby or adult — being birthed from that wound. The birthed human is the Church, born through the life-giving blood of the Son of God … delivered through Jesus’s vagina. Jesus, then, becomes gender non-binary, bearing both male and female sexual organs.

If it was meant for you, it would still be here.
Remember that.
Everything that ended badly for you — a relationship, a friendship, a job — ended because it wasn’t meant to be. Or because it has already served its purpose in your life.
So grieve it, if that helps. Cry if you must.
But move on, knowing that not even the most powerful person in the world can take what’s truly yours.
The religious call it God’s will. Pagans call it fate. Skeptics call it determinism. The spiritual call it divine timing.
Whatever name you choose for it, it is the great equalizer.
Entire kingdoms can be stolen, but what’s meant for you never could be.
