    {➹} – THE HEDGEHOG WAS SURE to watch the other as they went, fully prepared to jump in and lend a hand if he thought she should need it. Although he would admit that he was impressed by how she handled herself, careful but poised at the same time. Not exactly a normal reaction to skipping around active magma pools but impressive nonetheless. 

     Still, he was glad when they got to safety, and happier still that their little detour hadn’t upset his guest. At least now they could talk without fear of the ground caving in. 

     “Can’t argue with that, though I think the lava helps a little,” he joked, chuckling softly for a moment before gesturing to himself to address the question. “You can call me Arrow, ’s what I usually go by in cases like this. And, correct me if I’m wrong, but you’re Sally, right?”

“That’s right. I guess I’m common enough across alternate zones to have some people identify me before I introduce myself. It’s nice to meet you, Arrow.” Finding a new friendly place in a new dangerous area was a great thing. She could actually get a good look at the area without worrying herself about the dangers. “I feel like I’ve seen this place before, but, not exactly the same. Is it Marble Zone something?”

She wonders if it was something from that first Genesis wave that the Doctor pulled off. Sonic had explained what happened since she didn’t really remember it all that well, but it definitely looked like other zones did.....makes her wonder what the true prime zone is meant to look like.

A princess? And a leader? Well, there was a shock….for about five seconds or so. It wasn’t the fact that Haru wasn’t impressed, she was, to a degree. The way she figured it, she was already having a casual conversation with Sally up to now. Why bother letting the mood shift just because she found her Sally was royalty? Without a moment’s hesitation, Haru reached her little paw out and gently shook the other’s hand.

“Nice to meet you too, Sally. I’m uh…guessing I’m pretty far from home, huh? Well, that sucks…nobody takes care of the flowers in the gardening club but me. I really don’t want my children to wilt. I can only imagine what Legosi is probably doing right now…”

“If that’s the case, we should probably work on that. I’ll call Rotor and Tails to start tracking it down. Luckily, we normally work on travel to other worlds. We’re trying to map out what’s basically the multiverse. Normally we encounter other parallel worlds like ours, but there’s the rare occasion we connect to completely different worlds.”

Interdimensional travel wasn’t normal for most folks, so them having it served to help wayward souls at the very least. “I can show you around. There’s a florist in the city and you could probably take back a souvenir with you.”

“I’m Sally Acorn, leader of the Freedom Fighters and princess of the Republic Of Acorn. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Haru.” Sally held out her hand for the rabbit to shake. She wondered if Haru would need some way back to her own world at some point. She’d make the effort to find it using the systems at Freedom HQ so they can have the option.

Considering all the visitors they seem to be getting, it was a godsend that they even made the goalposts in the first place, even if it was originally only made to access the special Zone.

“Wow. Well, considering ourselves where I come from, most are only about a meter tall. The wolves are taller than us too, but not by too much. My Friend, Lupe, she’s probably around 5 foot 5 or so. Not as tall as a tree though. It sounds like the people from your school are pretty big.”

This rabbit didn’t look like a mobian though. She seemed prettt different, so maybe she was from another Zone? That would make sense if she was. It sounded like she was still in school too.

“Five foot five, huh? That’s about the normal size for a pup, I think… My friend, Legosi is about… 185 cm, give or take a few inches there. Believe it or not, there’s still animals even taller than him. Still, it’s gonna take some getting used to over here. I really didn’t expect to be the tallest rabbit.”

“Anyway, I should introduce myself, huh? My name’s Haru, I’m a second year at Cherryton High, and you?”

“…….” Haru tried to hold it in. Lord knows she tried her hardest. But when Sally’s words set in that SHE! SHE! THE TINY DWARF RABBIT WAS TALL! Haru couldn’t hold it any longer. She dropped down kicking and laughing up a storm.

“M-Miss Squirrel…you’re the first person in my whole life that has ever called me of all people tall! Do you wanna know what I have to do to feel tall in school? Hope one of the smaller herbivores just happen to walk by. All the other rabbits are even bigger than me!”

“Not to mention the wolves… One wolf in particular is as tall as a tree.”

"I know somebody at school that would be very happy to see you. A lot of the squirrels back home are pretty small."

“You’re probably the tallest rabbit I’ve seen outside of Bunnie’s Uncle.”
