Marriages and False Ideas Of Ownership
Most of everyone knows, that in the United States, people marry for love. As couples begin to unite in marriage or in the simple girlfriend to boyfriend scheme, men have seen those that they are together with as theirs. The woman is looked at as an object instead of a real person. Yes, this girl is their girlfriend but the boy is the girl's boyfriend. They do not own each other though. Marriage contracts seem to be a certificate of ownership over a woman held by a man. This is not what marriage is supposed to mean. Marriage is an agreement between two individuals to agree that they will remain loyal to each other, love and protect each other. In no way does a marriage declare that the woman is now owned by her partner. (Based on United States Marriages)

Men and Wen Roles
As children, we're taught that girls are supposed to do "inside" chores, while boys do "outside" chores. Women are fully capable of mowing the grass and fixing a car. Men are completely capable of washing the dishes and mopping the floors. These roles dictate what men and women are capable of doing. End gender roles and women will be looked at on a more equal level. If we can show men that we are fully able to do the same things as them, we could face a better tomorrow.

Who Should Ask Who?
The question of whether it is alright or demeaning to men when a woman asks to go out, instead of man, is controversial. Some men find it more attractive while others find it insulting to their masculinity. Other women even find it odd for females to ask males out first. Because of my belief, I see no preference in my choice. If a woman wants to take the intuitive to ask her chosen man out, that is her choice. I find it admirable that she is courageous enough to ask and although it is still different and weird for some people in our society, they are working closer to the top of the social ladder between males and females. This is 2015, act like it.

Stereotypical Men And Women
Just as women have stereotypical roles in society, men do too. Society's image of a woman is to be gentle, caring and motherly. Women are told that being strong is a sign of masculinity and men are shown that being sensitive is weak, and therefore womanly. Men can be sensitive if they choose to be. Crying doesn't make them weak and pathetic, it makes them more likeable and approachable. Women can be strong and defend her family, it makes her admirable and inspiring. No matter what gender you are, don't follow society's very stereotypical rules, make your own. You're your own person, be who are, not what others want you to be. Support equality among the genders.

Equality Among Men And Women
I hope that someday, a woman will be looked at as an equal. Countries around the world treat women like second class citizens and even worse, like objects. All women are beautiful and empowering. If we let them rise up as equals within society, new ideas and strengths could rise with them as well, leading our country as well as others forwards, economically, socially, and politically. Stand up for women's equality. Repost if you agree
