hello!!! as you are the resident miante person in mcyt (there might be another one but in my opinion it's you) I have a question: if I wanted to watch mianite how would I go about that/where do I find it? I know it's a youtube thing but I don't know which channel it's actually on and I am. Extremely Curious about it & want to watch it but I have no idea where to do that /genuine question

(also, I know it's got multiple POVs, is there anyone you'd recommend I start with?)

mianite has four main POVs that remain in VOD and episode form on the creators' channels, they all have a playlist for it and you can find them pretty easily by looking up "[creator name] mianite s1" on youtube.

i recommend starting off with jordan captainsparklez' POV like we did, as he is involved in mostly everything in both s1 and s2 and his episodes are edited down to only really have the important bits. if you decide to watch back through the series later from another perspective, tom syndicate's POV is another good one to watch as he's kind of on the opposite side of everything happening in s1 and it puts a lot of his actions in context that jordan left out of his episodes.

if you don't want to watch through the series in its entirety (which is completely understandable), fern @voidandradiance has made a playlist of the important lore moments in both mianite s1 and s2 that she'd be happy to share :]

also it's really funny to me that we are the resident Mianite Guy to you when we've only been here for like, six months. this series turns ten years old today and there are people in this fandom who have been here since the beginning of it or at least who have been here for way, way longer than we have.

@syndianites is, as far as we're concerned, the mouth of god himself when it comes to Tom Syndicate SynHD. there is nobody on this site who understands this character better than she does. they consistently leave the most galaxy brain objectively correct tags about him on our posts and she never fucking misses. this bitch Gets It and i am very lucky to be her friend

@coolcattime's blog is more of a general purpose one, like ours is, but she carries the f/f ships in the Mianite fandom and is also a great writer! she's written a lot of neat AU ideas and although we haven't talked with her much she definitely lives up to her url- she's one cool cat :]

@cactusprisms is also someone that we see around a lot in the notes of our mianite posts, although we unfortunately havent talked much. also more of a general purpose blog but worth following anyways. shes vibing.

I'm assuming that you're asking about after ending Saeyoung, because honestly I think that this would make apartment Seven's head explode.

After ending Saeyoung absolutely loves it when you're bold and thinks it's super cute that you got too flustered to keep it up. You've distracted him from whatever he was doing, and now all he can think about is the way your face slowly turned red as you got more and more embarrassed. There is no way you're walking away without any sort of retaliation. You've opened pandora's box and there's no way back now.

He might be stunned for a second but he will quickly get up to follow you. He's not going to let you hide after just being so cute. He'll pull you onto his lap and cup your face in his hands so he can look into your eyes and make you blush more. Saeyoung knows endless ways to tease you and absolutely loves to see you flustered, so good luck.

Silly little games like this make him so happy, it reminds him that he has the life he always dreamed of. It's the definition of 'we look at each other and laugh.'

Hello!! Love your art! I've been meaning to join the PL art community for a while now, but as the fanbase is pretty scattered, I wanted to know if there were certain tags which content creators could do well to use? Is the "Professor Layton" tag just enough? :o

Thank you very much - ghkdf yes the fanbase is a little all over the place, its dispersed a lot in the past year or so… I’m not sure I’m the best person to ask because I’m a little detached from it myself but I do think that just the main tag or any character tag/ship tag is a good place to start! -  I know there is (was?) a layton discord server which would be a good way to meet people and get more info on that but I’m not personally a part of it myself… sorry hoped this helped a little!

Professor Layton is such a, such an odd protagonist, to actually get popular.

He’s just this soft-spoken, middle-aged professor who strives to be as polite as possible at all times and he wants other people to be as polite as possible, even at his shoutiest he doesn’t really raise his voice or get, like, super enraged or heated or anything, he doesn’t ever seem to lose his cool, I guess.

He’s just, such a purely nice guy, and is so straightforward with how nice he is, like I don’t know if there’s any other protagonists from anything that is the way Professor Layton is what the fuck,

it feels like a genuinely miracle that these games got popular, and I suppose, it’s on the strength of the puzzles and mystery and stuff, but still, the fact that Professor Layton is a widely known name, it fucking baffles me. What did we do to deserve Professor Layton?

Ok yeah, we know that Benjamin x Loveday are literally the ultimate OTP and that mmmaybe Maria might decide to follow Uncle’s example and surprise ask Robin out, but think of the de Noir household after all the physical and mental dust settles.  Think of those closed up windows literally knocked back open with hammers, because pardon me, ladies and gentlemen, there’s going to be a real wedding this time and Sir William will personally damn himself if he doesn’t do his duty and give his little girl away.  Think of that overly masculine household being scrubbed and polished to a T, and oh yes, boys, you’re going to put all those weapons away until after the reception ends and the carriage to the other side of the valley is out of sight.

Now think of Sir William barking all of these orders with Loveday’s hedgehog happily perched on his head, and him keeping a two hundred percent straight face while every guy under the age of 21 is about to pass out from holding in their laughter for so long.
