Hello, I just went through the almost entirety of your toyhouse, and I just wanted to say that I'm in love with your stories, characters, and the way you bring them to life ! You really managed to create a world as a whole, with such an interesting lore :] thank you for sharing it with us!

a summer solstice celebration in sartrill, honoring the crakam and rau-kaksen gods sekuuti and akestur, but the event itself focuses moreso on the former... More about it below

sekuuti being associated with, and being seen as according to legend, the Sun and thusly responsible for the day, obviously hints towards being the focus of the celebration... but the "reasoning" for the tradition actually comes from a belief about akestur during the long days of summer.

akestur, the moon and night, is in an eternal chase after sekuuti according to rau-kaksen and crakam legend. over the course of the year akestur is put under pressure, and it is during summer where his doubts become the greatest. his flight pattern becomes irregular, and it is almost as if he paces himself in a way to avoid sekuuti, his nights become short and sekuuti's days longer.

during the celebration, a large feast is organised and usually a play is performed by the community, usually involving two adult actors, one rau-kaksen and one crakam (sekuuti and akestur respectively), and a few younger actors to represent the first rau-kaksen and crakam, and the "origin story" of both peoples is retold. later, religious community leaders tell stories of ancestors, and then also pleads with sekuuti herself - basically reminding her of the eternal pursuit, and that she needs to resume the chase, and pursue akestur until their pace is in synch again. in the Lore sekuuti is seen as a person who does need a reminder every once in a while of course...

it is common that summer solstice is a bigger thing among rau-kaksen communities, since its more associated with sekuuti, but it is important to crakam too, but they usually only attend the celebrations later as they have a crepuscular disposition while basilisks have a diurnal one. but thats also why the "important stuff" usually happens at an optimal time for both to attend.

I found you a few days ago and have started reading your world- and creature building and I am in LOVE! The texts are beautifully written and the ideas so thorough. It is a joy to read, the art is wonderful and I want to absorb it all into my very being. Do you happen to have an academic background in biology or is it a hobby? The texts you write and the depth of it all feels professional

OH WOW this is such a flattering message ;u; im glad you enjoy my little world so much!!! im really honored you'd even think i might have a background in such things JFDSKFJ i really have no formal higher education in it and am currently in school for graphic design/illustration, but i have a strong hobby interest in it i guess you could say!

"the flowers" is a small basilisk artist collective located in sartrill, consisting of sih'fi, sih'tus, ar'vicker and a very new member, juhani. it is a collective especially interested in human/sartrillan artistic collaboration, and thus, they make frequent excursions to human cities (in human guise, of course) to engage themselves with human artists. during these excursions they're guarded by närsi, a sartrillan guard, who isn't too thrilled about mingling with humans... but fulfills her duty diligently anyway.

more funny creaturas for funs for the Sillyworld. again this Sillyworld is still very vague in my mind and i am Not thinking too hard about the Plausibility just vague things... the first two im imagining are not present in PteroContinent Forests but in more open areas, last guy obviously is a water chilling guy. Will ponder more but it feels easier to ponder the more little spingles i throw in there

some more sillyworld doodles of probable "therapsids" present in a certain part of the world. i think in most of the continents on the Sillyworld Planet "primitive" therapsids died out except on the northwestern continent (name TBA), where they're the most predominant "mammals".

ive been pretty awfully artblocked as of late, as well as being busy with internship stuff, but this guy is the product of very vague thoughts and pondering about a fantasy world with a large pterosaur fauna presence... and some sophonts from there... idk if ill actually make anything crazy with it. But ill have some place to put worldbuilding ideas i cant really use in pareidolia because, well. it takes place in sweden... lol

a few spreads from a recent small short story i made for another class, featuring folke.. once more... a few yrs before pareidolia takes place i think. i might upload the whole thing at some point, when i feel i have time and energy FKJDSKJFSD. heres what the full booklet looked like printed btw

i have considered maybe selling a few, again, once i have time and energy to print and assemble more... thing is they would have to cost a little bit cuz of the cost of making them as they are. Mayhaps mayhaps... its just a little short story about folke facing his fears of his cellar with some gender subtext...
