Final Review
By the end of the project I had produced 3 scenes 2 of which were more developed than the final scene. Although I did not fully accomplish my final scene I am still pleased with what I had produced. I am happy with the end state I have left my project.

Cinematic Review
I created a small review sheet for people to fill out so I can get some feedback on my project and see where I went well and where I failed.

I created some questions and asked some peers to view my cinematic and then answer some of the questions.

Overall the first scene was the most liked one out of the three and the third was not favorited by anyone. The majority of the reviews understood the theme and idea around the cinematic and Overall the rating for the cinematic was high 5 or above. There were some comments about what they liked about t and there was also some about what they disliked which was generally dislike towards the final scene and its incompletion. I can reflect on these reviews and understand what i did well and what went wrong.

week 12 reflection

This week was the final week so I needed to make sure I had finished it by the end of the week, I completed all my targets for the week but Thursday and Friday I set myself the same target to look over the project and make sure its all finished. The week was very productive and got the project finished.

crown conquest: brothers in conflict
After some careful consideration I have decided on a name for my project which is 'Crown Conquest: Brothers in conflict'. I chose this because it consists of many aspects of the cinematic story. it includes the feud over the crown and the battle and goal to reach it. It also includes that the brothers are in conflict and battling for the crown itself.

The characters for the final scene can be seen lining up in the third scene To do this I am going to do what I did with the third scene part two and move the characters out of the way.

This will not affect the final scene since they are not connected to the third scene until it reaches the final scene. so they will move back to there area when the final scene starts.

landscaping
In want to fill the area where it is very plain and nothing is thee to fill the area and did this by adding trees to the background of some scenes.

I added many trees to second scene to cut it off from the other scenes in the area that are nearby. This fills the area up more and makes it feels less plain.

I added grass and trees to the third scene to make a forestry kind of vibe. It makes the area look better and encases the whole area.

I then added more trees to the second scene to incase it in the area. But then i had to delete the grass in the area because the project was skipping many frames and was very laggy with the amount of grass there was.

In the background of the third scene the characters from the third scene part two are visible and are stationary.

I don't want them to visible at this point of the cine so I am going to in the third scene move them so they are no longer visible in the scene but still visible in the part 2 of the scene.

scene 2 change
In the second scene the wooden panels on the roof can be visible and obstruct the view of the camera.

it cerates blocks the view of the camera and creates a shadow on the camera screen.

To stop this I have decreased the height of the camera for the whole of the scene so it no longer makes contact with the panels. the camera is now only a bit lower and still shows off the whole of the scene without being obstructed.

scene 1 change
I wanted to feel like there was more of a change in the environment so while the characters disappear there is a flash of darkness.

using the fade track we can make ethe whole scene go pitch black.

When the fade is 1 it is bright and normal but it starts to get darker and less visible when its below 1 being completely dark at 0. When the characters are about to disappear I set the fade to 0 so it is al dark when they disappear. It makes it look like the darkness is the reason they disappeared.

scene 1 problem
During the start of the first scene the characters can be seen through the windows doing t-poses, there is two ways I could possibly fix this, 1.hiding the characters until they are no longer in sight and 2. making them do there animations from the beginning.

I chose to have it so they do there animations from the beginning because it would be easier than hiding them and it also makes it would be a bit weird if they weren't visible from the window but just appeared out of nowhere once they enter.

I increased the length of the animation and moved it to the beginning of the scene but the animations still ending where they originally ended.

Looping sequences

To put all the scenes side by side I used the sequence root I created and put each of he remaining scenes into it and placed them so the start was just as the last scene ended.

In the player character from event begin play I create the sequence and then play it looping. this will then start the sequence root and then repat it when it ends in the sequence root however many times I have it looping for.

To make it loop infinitely I changed the looping number to be a negative amount. This makes the loop infinite.

making my own sounds
for some of the noises in the game like the character in the first scene walking I have decided to go around and record myself walking in some places that would be useful to have, I walked around wooed surfaces, stony surfaces and concrete surfaces to help get walking sounds for some of the scenes.

After making the sounds I downloaded them onto my computer and then converted the mp3 files to a wav file. I did this because when importing a mp3 file into unreal it doesn't come out as a sound file and wont produce sound but by changing it to a wav file it will make the file have sound when it is imported into unreal engine.

After importing the sound into unreal engine I added the sound into the sequence. I used the stone walking and going up stairs to the first part of the first scene where the character walks up to the building. It then plays the welking on ground sound when the character walks through the building.

I then used another one in the second scene when the prince is walking away in the second scene.

Adding audio
I want a way to add the audios I have to the sequences.

In the track I can add the audio track which will have the audio stored in it. On the audio track I can use the plus button to find the different audios in the project and add them.

I found audios online that I could use within my scenes to add more to it and make it more interesting. One is for the first scene where there will be chatter amongst the tavern.

In the first scene I put the sound in the sequence and placed at the part where the camera opens the door. I can alter the sound so it is quitter at times and louder at others. At first it starts off quiet but as it gets further in the tavern the sound gets louder and then stops when it gets to everyone disappearing.

I then used the marching sound in the third and third part two scenes where the characters are marching towards the battle. It played for the entirety for each of the scenes.

In the third scene I used the marching sound again at the start of the final scene to indicate the soldiers lining up to battle and then have the shouting/yelling sound used when they are lined up facing each other and when they run at the opposing side.

voice lines
I got my friends to choose one of the characters from the script and voiced there lines for me and sent me the recordings.

I got 4 lines, 2 for each character and am going to use them in the second scene for when the brothers talk. I numbered each one after each line of dialogue being spoke so 1 is the first line and 2 is the second and onwards.

I first started with adding the lines for the first character into the sequence when the first character should be speaking in the scene.

I then added the other voice lines to and made them line up so they sound like they are arguing between each other.

script for scene 2
I wanted to have the characters talking in the second scene so I made a brief script that I may use in the scene. I may change it and improve it later but I will use this for now.
