ESP/ENG . Cada vez que descubrimos una nueva ciudad australiana visitamos, sin dudarlo, los jardines botánicos. Este país es famoso por la cantidad de animales que viven en el y en estos jardines siempre encuentras de todo tipo de ellos 🇦🇺🌿🦋 . Esta imagen fue tomada en el Jardín Botánico de Bundaberg. Este santuario verde de 27 hectáreas incluye más de 10.000 plantas, un tren de caña de azúcar en funcionamiento y hasta un Salón de la Aviación. También puedes pasear por los jardines japoneses, mojarte en el bosque tropical australiano (sí, cuenta con lluvia artificial) o hacer un picnic junto a los muchos lagos que conforman el parque 🌳🏞️🦎 . Pero, sin duda alguna, lo mejor de este lugar son las más de 100 especies de aves que puedes ver por todas partes. No exageramos si decimos que nunca habíamos visto tantas aves tan grandes juntas. Había de todo tipo, desde los majestuosos pelicanos hasta garzas, ibis y decenas de aves de todos los colores 🐦🦃🦉 . ESP/ENG . Great Keppel Island es sin duda uno de los paraísos más bonitos que ofrece Australia. Además, es uno de los mejores lugares donde descubrir y admirar la fauna marina de la Gran Barrera de Coral del Sur. ¿Hace falta que digamos algo más? 🏝️🌊🐠 . Esta isla lo tiene todo para que disfrutes y te relajes: playas casi desiertas de arena banca y agua azul turquesa, un interior repleto de naturaleza, una vida marina abundante (peces de todo tipo, mantas raya, tortugas marinas, delfines, corales, y un largo etcétera) 🏖️🇦🇺🐡 . Nosotros pasamos cinco días en la isla y no nos quisimos ir, lo que más nos gustó es que se trata de un lugar que se conserva natural, apenas hay un par de restaurantes y bungalows. ESP/ENG . Cuando decidimos viajar en coche por la Costa del Queensland varios locales nos hablaron se in lugar qué no podriamos dejar de visitar. Ubicado en la ciudad costera de Agnes Water, se trata de un precioso caminito por un bosque que parece mágico. Habíamos visto muchas imágenes de este lugar antes de visitarlo, pero lo cierto es que la realidad superó nuestras expectativas 🇦🇺🌲🚶‍♀️ . Se trata de una caminata 10 minutos muy sencilla a través la espesa y exuberante maleza. Pasarás de puntillas por los humedales hasta estar completamente rodeado por cientos de troncos de árboles de corteza de papel y las majestuosas frondas verdes de la palma de col 🌱🌵🌿 . Este corto pero espectacular lleva al corazón de un tipo de bosque muy especial (y verde), raramente visto en tan prístinas condiciones. Vigila las mariposas y los hongos de colores mientras escuchas los llamados de las ranas cuando pasas por su hábitat 🦋🌳🌴 . When we decided to travel by car along the #Queensland Coast, several locals told us about what we could not miss. Located in the seaside town of #AgnesWater, it is a beautiful little path through a forest that seems magical. We had seen many images of this place before visiting it, but the truth is that reality exceeded our expectations 🇦🇺🌲🚶‍♀️ . It is a very easy 10 minute walk through thick and lush undergrowth. You will tiptoe through the wetlands until you are completely surrounded by hundreds of paper bark tree trunks and the majestic green fronds of the cabbage palm 🌱🌵🌿 . ESP/ENG . Desde que llegamos a Queensland y empezamos a hablar con aussies (así es como se les conoce a los australianos) todos coincidían en lo mismo: tenéis que visitar Noosa, os va a encantar. Tras haber oído este mismo comentario en repetidas ocasiones decidimos salir de dudas y explorar este lugar tan recomendado. Teníamos las expectativas muy altas pero lo cierto es que, al viajar a Noosa, entendimos porque insistían tanto 🇦🇺⛱️🌲 . En el corazón de la Sunshine Coast se encuentra Noosa, un lugar idílico rodeado de playas preciosas, un parque natural hermoso y repleto de vida animal y un pueblo costero con muchísimo encanto ⌛🌳🏞️ . Esta foto fue tomada desde uno de los pequeños acantilados del Parque Nacional. Ese día vimos goannas y tortugas marinas pero nos quedamos con las ganas de ver a los famosos koalas, ¡se escondieron muy bien! 🐢🦎🐨 . ESP/ENG . Uno de los lugares que mas nos ha gusta de lo que llevamos visto por Australia es a Zona de Conservación de los Lagos de Coombabah. Este fue el lugar donde vimos por primera vez canguros en libertad, y además cientos de ellos. Incluso los pudimos tocar. Además de canguros, también puedes encontrarte con koalas y más tipos de animales 🐮🐰🐱 . Esta zona protege más de 1200 hectáreas de humedales, bosques de eucaliptos, marismas saladas y manglares. El lago Coombabah y su sistema de estuarios son importantes humedales costeros y hábitat de aves acuáticas migratorias. El Área de Conservación es el hogar de 274 especies de animales, con siete especies catalogadas como “vulnerables” o “casi amenazadas”, incluyendo el koala, el poderoso búho y el zorro volador de cabeza gris, junto con 24 especies de aves migratorias protegidas internacionalmente 🌲🌳🌴 . La zona es ideal para realizar caminatas cortas y largas, montar en bicicleta, recorrer senderos, observar aves y es el lugar perfecto para acercarse a la vida silvestre nativa. ESP/ENG . Esta foto la tomamos en seguramente uno de los lugares más iconicos de la costa este australiana, Gold Coast. Concretamente en el suburbio de Surfers Paradise, el lugar de vacaciones por excelencia de los jóvenes australianos 🇦🇺🏖️🎉 . Como su propio nombre indica, esta es una de las capitales del surf del país, allá donde vayas se nota que el surf está presente por todos lados. Eso sí, las olas de la playa principal no son tan altas, son ideales para principiantes y novatos (como nosotros jaja) 🏄‍♂️🌊🌇 . Conocida como la Miami australiana, a nosotros lo que más nos gustó es el ambiente relajado y la buena vibra que se respira por todos lados. Gente descalza caminando por la calle, música en las terrazas, surfers y skaters patinando por cada calle… un lugar peculiar donde los haya 😃😍✌️ . ESP/ENG . Despues de meses viajando por Asia por fin llegamos el año pasado a un país que nos moriamos de ganas de conocer y explorar... el gigante continente de Australia 🇦🇺☺️🤩 . Lo que mas nos llama la atención de este hermoso país es sin duda su diversa y rica fauna y flora. Los canguros son el simbolo nacional y nos quedamos maravillados la primera vez que vimos a este animal único en libertad ❤️🌄✌️ . ¿Sabias que los canguros son los marsupiales más grandes del mundo? Estos mamíferos solo habitan en Australia y son populares por sus divertidos saltos. Además, como todos los marsupiales, las hembras tienen una bolsa de piel donde viven las crías hasta que son grandes y pueden valerse por sí mismas 🐣🎉⭐ . What strikes us the most about this beautiful country is undoubtedly its diverse and rich fauna and flora. Kangaroos are the national symbol and we were in awe the first time we saw this unique animal in the wild ❤️🌄✌️ . Did you know that #kangaroos are the largest marsupials in the world? These mammals only live in Australia and are popular for their fun jumps. Lo mejor de este lugar, bajo nuestro punto de vista, es que mantiene la esencia de las islas paradisiacas. No están permitidos los vehículos a motor ni hay grandes edificios, lo que hace que estas islas conserven su naturalidad. Los únicos medios de transporte en estas islas son Los carros tirados por caballos o las bicicletas. Nosotros alquilamos unas para recorrer las islas de arriba a abajo. ¿Cúal es tu medio de transporte favorito? 🚲🐎♻️ . The Gili Islands are one of the most exotic and natural destinations we have ever been to. "The turtle capital of the world", "party islands" and even the "Maldives of Southeast Asia" are just some of the honorific names that travelers use to describe the #GiliIslands of #Indonesia 🇮🇩🏝️ . The best thing about this place, from our point of view, is that it maintains the essence of the paradisiacal islands. Motor vehicles are not allowed and there are no large buildings, which keeps these islands natural. The only means of transportation on these islands are horse-drawn carts or bicycles. We rent some to tour the islands from top to bottom.
