         he’d been silently watching her for a while now, she was easy to watch, beautiful to observe. it wasn’t just waxing poetic when talking about harley and comparing her to a flame, though he was totally entranced by her beauty and compelled to come nearer he was well aware that to actually interact with the flame was a move which would only lead to potential harm. fortunately, rhys had always liked to play with fire. ‘ hey princess ’ he drawled out, voice smooth and glossy like honey as it carried to her, his own eyes darkening when hers fell upon him, blinking up from under lashes with an unwavering gaze and smirk hidden under a perfectly poised hand which his chin rested on. ‘ what exactly are you doing here ? ’ he teased, cool and casual charisma turned up tenfold as he perched a leg on the chair nearest to him and left the other one open for her to take, challenging glimmer in his eye as he tilted his head toward it. ‘ i heard a little rumor that you’ve been awfully bad at hiding your praises for me lately. i’m honored that i can have such an impact on you. even if your compliments come through clenched teeth ’ he chuckled lowly, reaching for his drink and glancing around the guests with a nonplussed look, rhys would much rather be anywhere but here but the parties were deemed essential for networking. ‘ i don’t think i need to remind you that i, for one, am crazy for you even when you’re being cold and untouchable. especially then, actually. but when it comes to me specifically ? i’m more than happy to drag the truth out of you even if you hate every moment ’

      ‘ uh-huh ’ the other male murmured nonplussed as he whipped out his lighter and flickered it up for the other, gesturing for the other to lean in with the cig. ‘ i also have a car if you need a lift somewhere, which, no offence but i’m gonna safely judge that you do ’ he offered nonchalantly with a glance to the abused vehicle which had caused such offence. ‘ i also overheard you cussing out your phone likewise, so i imagine that you’ll struggle to get a lift from anyone or anything else ’ he noted cautiously as he leaned against the door to the run down building that he had been previously filming in, feet scruffing at the side walk. ‘ i just finished up with what i was doing, its up to you but i can take you wherever you need to get and i swear i won’t ask any questions. just wouldn’t wanna see anyone stranded out here. i know the frustration all too well ’

hello frands !! it is me, admin c, introducing my final and most fire muse, bok emrys otherwise known as rhys. beneath the cut you can find a couple of pointers and basics on him, like this for plotting as you can expect and i’ll get to those im’s as fast as i can !! you can find his stats here for some idea and overview of him:

so rhys is like this edgy biker boy but with a heart of gold who is rlly a super big softie, he just looks like an intimidating biker boi with his style.

he falls in love with everything but i don’t mean like he’ll fuck anything with a pulse kind of love or oh wow u were nice to me and now i adore u and want to run off into the sunset, i mean he’s just in love with the world around him i mean it’s a shitty fuckin place sometimes but he sees the small beauties in it, the miracles of nature and human behavior that isn’t learned but just inherent to us and he thinks its fuckin magical so sue him

very wise and mature and down to earth as a person, despite being super popular because he just comes across as very cool and easygoing and in general easy to get along with plus he’s a total heart throb in the modelling world.

pretty artsy for a living, very much a creative soul. he paints and sketches and can mould things and he does actually commission it and earn a decent amount from it but his main career and income comes from the modelling definitely. bc ya know business for artists in general just isn’t amazing even for the richer few.

he is a dancer however he doesn’t do dance as a full time gig bc he’s worried it would eat away at his time and take away from his other passions but ye he be a busy boi but he choreographs a lot and does cover videos on youtube that are pretty popular.

he gets a reputation from the media for being a ‘playboy’ bc he’s deemed a heart throb fUNNILY enough he is the furthest thing from that, but everyone finds him attractive and tries to get him into scandals. he deffo does have flings like the average amount as anyone else but HERES THE THING…

    ‘ well that’s in my nature. and also i am almost certain it was a requirement on the ‘ideal older brother’ form i filled out when i signed up for this’ he joked back with a fond roll of his eyes as he rearranged the girls hair into place. he watches the girl melt into all the comfort she is currently sheltered and embedded in and wishes he could provide more, could provide it all the time. it wasn’t that jinae was an overly broken bird of a person, she was optimistic and hopeful and always saw the best in everyone until she quite literally couldn’t any longer. and he knew daeseong made her blossom and ignite like this beautiful flare of life and joy and had done since they were tiny, or what he would consider tiny even if she was the older one. it had never felt that way, and ry couldn’t care less, it didn’t bother him one bit. he’d always wanted to be the older, reliable one. he felt needed and important filling out the role and he never wanted to lose that or the precious girl he provided it for. he could imagine no other sister. he just wishes that he could witness jinae’s bright and radiant moments even more. ‘ quite right. the universe already has all our pathways written, so really you have utterly no choice and the universe would only lead you towards the best for you so i suppose you just have to make do’ he teased back as he smiled the most sincerely he could at the girls much more clairvoyant composure. the sense of achievement which overtook when he could tell he had fulfilled his responsibility and given her the most love he could was inexplicable. 

        ‘ lucky i am an eager learner and a quick one. so don’t go anywhere any time soon okay? i think i’ll always need your advice and guidance no matter how much of an expert i become’ he smiles a little smaller, a little more vulnerable as he gazes at the strong woman in front of him. his equal in every way, the yin to his yang. he’d be totally lost without her no matter how much it seemed like he was the one doing all the guidance at times. jinae was one of the very few people in this world who he would fail to exist and be his best version at without. if she ceased to be, he is certain that he would have to as well. it would be completely beyond his control he feels it so strongly. ‘ yeah but i don’t care about other people as much as i care about you. and whether they have it worse or not, doesn’t mean your pain isn’t just as valid. i know you can recover from pretty much everything, i know how strong you are. i just- you’re precious to me. i want your best interests to be respected whenever possible’ he sighs, he could only hope that the girl did understand just how essential she was to the others life. ‘ oh okay i see, you saps. you’re so married, i mean honestly why even wait? the honeymoon phase is like eternal for you guys i swear’ he jokes, a broader grin complimenting his features before he pouts his lips and pauses momentarily at her words in thought. ‘ me? oh you know, the usual, nothing that exciting. modelling events with socialites that require a lot of standing around for hours, a bit of playing around with the occasional nightly entertainment and not much else but i’m keeping busy enough’

             when  rhys  comments  on  the  name  of  the  sage  ,  she  chuckles  . she  knows  him  ,  she’s  happy  to  say  she  actually  knows  him  well  , which  means  jinae  knows  his  aesthetic  and  these  fit  perfectly .  ❝  yeah  ,  that’s  what  i  thought  .  the  dragon’s  blood   itself  is  really  cool  ,  it’s  been  used  for  centuries  ,   especially  in  medicine  ,  because  of  it’s  healing  properties   and  everything  .  it’s  interesting  ,  if  you  ever  want  to  look into  it  because  it  can  be  used  in  all  sorts  of  stuff  .  ❞   she  separates  the  two  ,  removing  herself  from  his  side  to   take  the  nearest  seat  in  the  kitchen  .  she’s  tired  ,  though   she  doesn’t  wish  for  the  other  to  realise  it  anymore  than  he already  has  yet  .  ❝  i  appreciate  the  offer  ,  ry  ,  but  … ❞  her  mind  shifts  to  another  and  she  feels  herself  grow   more  dejected  ,  ❝  i  sorta  just  up  and  left  without  saying   anything  to  anyone  ,  so  i  imagine  i  might  be  in  the   doghouse  with  dae  and  i  don’t  wanna  stay  there  for  too  long   .  ❞  another  sigh  is  released  ,  ❝  and  i’ll  feel  even  worse   than  i  do  now  if  i  just  don’t  acknowledge  it  or  his   feelings  ,  so  i’m  gonna  try  to  stop  by  and  see  him  .   eventually  .  whenever  i  feel  better  because  i  don’t  want  him   to  worry  more  than  he  might  already  be  .  can  i  take  a  rain check  ,  though  ?  ❞

        ry gives her a slight questioning glance over, over his shoulder as he pours his efforts into making her the perfect brew. he knows she normally has an issue with the fact he takes such care of her, insisting it’s supposed to be her job as she’s older but he couldn’t care less for her logic on that matter. jinae needed more people to worry about and fuss over her, she had daeseong and azami now but that was no reason the family she’d found shouldn’t grow in their efforts to shower and shelter her in love. if there was anyone in this world deserving of it, he thought surely it had to be jinae, by anyone’s standards. she’d be feeling she’d failed her duty tenfold today, if the grief she embodied was anything to go by but ry wouldn’t allow for it. ‘ oh hush up, there’s no such thing as a brother being too good to his sister. which is what you are, like it or not ’ he comments, he’s hoping that he’ll be able to stop her mind from wandering too much so she wouldn’t overthink small things on top of her already heavy grief and palpable guilt. ‘ that’s not selfish nae, its just a way of coping. and it’s way healthier than any of the ways i used to. you haven’t done anything wrong ’ he tuts, hoping she realizes without him over compensating with words, that he means about more than just the shopping, the entire day really, before nodding encouragingly and looking with pride as she explained her purchases. ‘ of course not, they must make a good earning off of you in an hour alone nae, i’d say you’re doing a favor ’ he chuckles as he hands off her tea to her, with a warming smile and squeeze of her hand briefly before he lets go to take his own

    ‘ i think i’m going to have to because that’s honestly impressive. and i’m very intrigued by just about everything about the history behind it so far ’ he murmurs the curiosity peaking through in his voice as he squishes her cheek lovingly in gratitude and stores the item away carefully. he’ll research it once she’s gone, it keeps him busy and also stops him from insisting upon checking up on her every five seconds and going into overdrive completely with his protective urges and instincts. ‘ of course, i’m not going to blame you whatever you decided to do. i can just sense a lot of dread on you right now, and i want you to feel safe. you know where i am anyway and how to contact me if you need me, any time you can call me or shoot a text off. remember that yeah ? ’ he comforts, coming to crouch before the small female and push her hair behind her ear, kind eyes flashing at her with compassion evident in them. ‘ just message him for now if it makes you feel better and tell him you’ll stop by, you just need to freshen up and have some alone time first. just...while you’re being conscious of his feelings, make sure he does the same for you okay ? don’t push yourself too hard. have some proper you time as well nae, you’re allowed to be a little more selfish than usual on days like this ’
