Do you have your own area in the palace, or are you being monitored, and do you need to stay in Zuko's part of the palace?

I have to stay in Zuko's Chambers most of the time unless he allows me to leave. . .

But I'm normally monitored by many, many guards. . . But there's brass cuffs on my ankles too, stop me from running.

I'm allowed leave for meals with Zuko. If he cannot attend, a servant brings them to the chambers.

Over the past while, Zuko's been. . . Odd? I'm not quite sure how to put it. He's been talking about some 'Water Tribe Rebels' in one of the Earth Kingdom colonies. . .

I'm quite intrigued by this. . .I hope they don't get captured tho.

Appa's safe, hm? That's good! It must be nice to have that connection to your old home. You must miss it a lot. I'm glad you found people you can trust, or at least talk to. Ursa and Iroh seem lovely.

I've heard the Fire Lord has a little sister. Have you met her?

Yes, Appa is safe and well. . . I miss the Air Temples often but most of them have been disgraced and destroyed. . .

Used as Fire Nation Millitary outposts. . .but the Western Air Temple has been left alone, mainly cause they can't do much with it.

As for Azula. . .as I've said before, she's very degrading and insulting towards me. I try to ignore her or any of her comments. . . Even Zuko's chimed in and told her to be quiet a few times.

What’s Azula like in this au? Has aang met her? How did it go if he has?

Azula. . . Ah, she's. . . An interesting character. Azula is the leader of the Fire Nation Millitary but does spent a lot of time in Ba Sing Se as she conquered said city.

When I do see her, she's very quick to make some patronising comments or insult how I look or my heritage. . . She likes to make comments about how my Airbending tattoo's bring shame to the Royal Consort robes I wear.

I quickly came to see why Zuko got so irritated by the mention of her name, seems as if Ozai has always favoured her over him.

Hi Aang! Hope you’re doing alright!

Do you ever talk to Zuko, or just hang out with him? And if so, do you guys have anything in common that you’ve bonded over? Or is your relationship pretty distant?

I feel like Zuko might be trying to put on a facade of seriousness/coldness for Ozai and the royal court, but it seems like he’s pretty gentle deep down from what you’ve said about him so far.

I’m also glad to hear that General Iroh and Lady Ursa have been kind to you. I’m sorry you’re stuck in a situation like this, but glad that you have some people around who care about you!

Hello, thank you, I'm currently doing somewhat okay. . .

And yes, I do talk to Zuko, he is my husband afterall. . .but it isn't often, he's busy most of the day and when I do see him it's usually late a night and he's more focused on getting an heir out of me currently, most likely to get his Father off his back.

Well, as for things in common, I didn't think we would but turns out he's big into history. . . He actually- knows a lot about Air Nomad culture, surprisingly so we've talked about that and he's been quite talkative when it comes to baby names. . . .I think this baby might be more than just a heir to him. . .I know about his rocky family and upbringing, and I think I might be wrong but- I think this is also about having his own family as well. . .

. . . Anyways, we talk at dinner when he joins me, or at events even if it's minimal. . .but, he doesn't completely disregard me or my feelings. . . All the time. . . At certain subjects.

He did come with me on Appa once, he was a bit nervous at first, but eventually, he calmed down.

Appa likes him, so I'm sure their really is good inside him deep down. . .

And- thank you. . . It's nice to hear that some people who understand my situation is less than conventional, you're quite sweet.

Good morning, Aang (or night. I'm far from the Fire Nation at the moment)! I hope you're enjoying yourself as much as possible. Is Appa alright?

You've mentioned you've traveled all over the world. Have you ever been to the water tribes?

Evening dear! Appa is safe and sound in the stables. Sometimes, I do get to visit him, and if I'm lucky, take him for a fly when escorted. I normally like to take General Iroh or Lady Ursa with me. Our conversations are always comforting.

Traveling hmmm. . . Well, I was traveling to the Southern Water Tribe before I got trapped in that Iceberg. . .

I did travel to different places years ago, back before the war but I never really visited the Water Tribes, usually The Fire Nation to see Kuzon and Omashu to see Bumi. . . I do miss them alot. . . .

Uhm. . . But after my wedding we went to Ember Island for our honeymoon and to be honest, it was quite relaxing. . . I think it was the most relaxed I've ever seen Zuko! And I've been to some of the Colonies when Zuko has Firelord Duties there and such.

But he does have a trip to the Northern Water Tribe soon, to meet with the Royal family to make sure theirs no rebel uprisings. . . .

. . . As much as I'm against violence, these 'rebels' are a glimmer of hope in my opinion.

Um, how was doing the naughty with Zuko like?

I wasn't- expecting such a uh- Intimate question as this. . .

If you must know- I suppose it's uh?- fine? I mean, the first time was awkward, very awkward. . .but that was just done to consummate the marriage on our wedding night.

But anytime after that has mainly been him- i guess 'us' trying to produce an heir for the throne. . .

With the exception of when Zuko's really stressed and decides I'm the perfect outlet for relief. . .he does ask for my consent first before you begin to assume!

From what I've heard, most Fireladies or Consorts don't have that luxury of saying no. . .

Makes me think of when Lady Ursa asked me if her son respects my boundaries.

Aang doesn't tend to loose control of the Avatar State much, but when he's in deep emotional distress he tends to enter it.

After his pregnancy began showing later on, he would randomly enter the Avatar State when stressed, worried or scared about what would happen to the baby, considering the fact Ozai said he'd have his grandchild killed if it was to turn out to be an Airbender.

So simple explanation. . . I was born 'intersex'? So basically, I can reproduce uh- both ways, but it seems my hormones or something aline more with being a man?

I don't really know how it works either but- I've got the stuff to get pregnant is all you gotta know and it's terrifying!

Firelord Zuko in this A.U!//OOC

If you haven't seen any previous posts - Zuko was never scarred or Banished in this Timeline.

• He's currently nineteen years old.

• He became the Firelord after his father, Ozai became the Pheniox King.

• He's much colder and brutal - but he does have a soft side he doesn't show much.

• Ursa was never banished in this universe either, even after Poisioning Azulon.

• Zuko is very quick to try and please his father (still) and allows him to basically control his life to an extent - Agreeing to marry Aang without putting up a fight.

• Zuko is very distant from Aang - he doesn't talk to him much, unless it's about family dinners or important festivals and political events or to give out to him if Ozai complains about something he did or if he steps out of line.

• this isn't fully from hate or holding a grudge, it's also about fear of what Ozai would do to Aang or even him - Zuko still has a soft side and does feel pity for Aang as he's in the same situation his own mother was in.

• Zuko has never physically hurt Aang, he has more stands than that guys.

Well. . . I guess I'll start from the start with this one. . . It's. . . Sorta blurry, it has been six years since then. .

I woke up from being stuck inside an iceberg. . .and was just yanked up by Fire Nation Soldiers. They didn't hesitate nor were they gentle. . . They would sorta hit me and throw me around, I wasn't just tied up, I was bound by brass cuffs to stop me from Airbending.

Three of them dragged me off the ship one day. . . I think I had a black eye and a bloody nose? Most of my visible injuries had healed up by that point. . .but my bones still aced and my head was pounding.

I was dragged into the Firelord's war room. . . Ordered for them to do a 'physical examination' to determine whether my tattoo's real or not to my horror.

It was. . . Really intimate and invasive. . . After a few months of being locked away and pretty much breaking my pride and will, I was allowed walk around the Palace grounds when escorted.

I use to stand on the balcony come nightfall, Iroh or even Lady Ursa would escort me. . . They were the kindest, especially after the whole Marriage thing came about.

I remember Iroh talking to Zuko in the hallway, he was told before me. . . He was angry and upset, I don't blame him and I think Iroh was trying to somewhat comfort him. . .

Soon afterwards, He approached me alone, I felt scared when he walked down the hallway towards me despite him being just a year my senior.

He glared at me, something was uncertain about his stare but. . . I just looked up at him. He then told me to follow him to the Firelords Throne room.

That's when I was told I was to marry his son. . .

Remember how they did that examination? Well, let's just say they realised they could get an Heir out of me even if I were to be married to a man. . .

So, when I turned sixteen we where Wed. . . Now that I'm Eighteen, I'm expected to give Zuko an heir, even though he's only nineteen himself. . .

He's been increasingly frustrating these passfew months since I've shown no sign of pregnancy so far. . .

I'm basically just a Trophy wife and breeding cow if you catch my drift. . . I'm dreading the day I actually get pregnant. . . The faith of that child is pretty unknown. . .

At least I won't be lonely anymore. . .

How is life in the Fire Nation?

In all honestly, it's boring most days. Usually, I'm left alone, locked up in my chambers. I can't move well either due to the brass cuffs around my ankles holding me down. . .

Even if I did want to go somewhere. I have to be escorted by Palace Guards or- Zuko when he's not working. . .as much as I hate it. . .Zuko is a situation in itself.

Anyways, I get to talk to the maids who sometimes enter my chambers to check on me or get me ready for events and such. The isolation drives me crazy but it's better than when I have to attend family dinners with Ozai and Azula.

Added a sash to make it seem as if he's trying to keep some of his Air Nomad culture, despite it being stripped away from him.

I also changed his glove style to show his wedding ring and eye bags to make him look more tired and depressed.

First things first, Aang is 18 years old at the time this blog takes place for ages refrance.

• This takes place in a Timeline where Fire Nation Soldiers found Aang in the Iceberg before Katara and Sokka - they find him three years earlier then the canon timelines events.

• The Fire Nation wins the war in this Timeline.

• Aang is taken back to the Fire Nation and kept under very strict monitoring to make sure he doesn't try to escape.

• He and Zuko have a year age gap, Zuko is also the current Firelord.

• Zuko and Aang were forced into a marriage by Ozai, there for making Aang Zuko's Consort.

• Zuko was never banished or scarred in this universe. He's also much colder and brutal.

• Ozai is the Phenoix King in this timeline, Azula runs the Fire Nation military.
