Zukka is a ship that I'm ultimately indifferent to but its existence gives me more glee than any other ship. As someone who obnoxiously spent the majority of my pre-teen years going to forum war for Kataang against Zutara, and watching as that war went on strong for years after I'd left my station, the rise of Zukka basically felt like this

"After ten long years the fight shows no sign of stopping. Kataang is once again bringing its ultimate attack of canon-compliance, while Zutara has released another essay on how it better suits the show's themes of balance- wait. What's this? Why it's-it's- IT'S ZUKKA WITH A STEEL CHAIR!!!!"

Summary: Five times Sonic has an encounter with Shadow post-almost-apocalypse. Two times they’re caught. One time Sonic brings Shadow home. And the moment everything finally falls into place. (5+1 things made into 5+2+1+1)

It sticks to her teeth when she tries to say it, lodging itself uncomfortably in her mouth until all she can do is swallow it whole and pray it doesn't choke her. 

Normally, in such a context, it would seem derogatory. A snide remark on a person's character when one doesn't have anything bad to say, but nothing good either. Like a hideous vase worth a fortune or a bouquet of beautiful flowers that turn out to be weeds. It's awkward and creates a blip in polite conversation that must be glossed over with a forced smile and weak chuckle.

Or, perhaps, it's the perfect word for when nothing else quite makes sense.

SUMMARY: Zelda is struggling to accept how drastically her knight has changed from who he used to be. Thankfully, for better or worse, he's found a few brothers who are willing to lend a helpful word.

Kiss Cam lands on Sky and Sun, and so the events unfold.

Sky: *trying to both subtly and desperately shake his head*

Sun: *turns pink and looks away*

Kiss Cam goes away, then shortly lands on them again.

Sky: *is sweating profusely*

Sun: *chewing her lip, visibly debating something with herself*

Kiss Cam goes away, and comes back yet again.

Sky: *withering from embarrassment, has convinced himself Sun hates him, is preparing his own funeral*

Sun: *fuck this*

Sun: *grabs Sky's collar and kisses him. hard.*

Sky: *Sky has stopped working*
