TLDR: my growth with anxiety has ruined fanfiction :( , anxiety is gross

One thing they dont tell you about growth is that it makes inclusive reading insufferable.

I've had major anxiety issues since before I can remember (blocked out alot of childhood so like I cant) , but because of how I was raised and grown I've been able to get through that. Now an anxiety attack/moment is 5 mins of crying ans a call with the bestie, because you can't completely get rid of the feelings but you can manage them

So, I haven't read fanfic since that growth and oh my god. I get why anxiety is a wonderful topic to write about, there's so many layers and different ways.....

But Jesus fuck is it difficult to read.

The current one is a slow burn, so naturally there are chapters where its 5 paragraphs of anxiety and I'm sitting here with Willy (sdv Seb/Farmer fic, it's phenomenal) like boy if you don't go for it. It's not that complicated. There are things we can control and we cannot. Deal. [insensitiveik]

But its something we have to experience because we are seeing the character grow. It's just personally, lil cringe worthy because it's like looking back at my old brain and being like oh honey what are we doin. Sugar please stfu and understand we can be accountable and take a break.

Anyways I'm nearly caught up, let's hope they can kiss soon
