Hey, everyone. Earlier this month I landed a job, and I’ve been extremely busy with individual personal projects. Also, I should be moving in August, so there’s a ton on my plate.
However, I do not wish to go on hiatus. I don’t have any shortage of muses. However, recently, I made a multi-muse blog. I love running it and using it as a master center kind of thing.
So, I’m making the hard decision to archive this blog and move Shamus to my multi-muse blog that you’re more than welcome to follow here: @musesbygeoff!
It’s been a ton of fun running Shamus as an individual blog. I couldn’t believe the popularity this blog has gotten! It’s been a ton of fun creating a backstory, rounding out his character out and interacting with other BW characters, and characters from other gens. When I first made this account, I had no idea it would bring this much fun. Unfortunately, I feel the fun can only continue by moving to a multimuse account because jumping between blogs makes it hard for me to keep track of things.
Thank you for understanding and double Thank You for making this blog a ton of fun. This blog is not being deleted. It will live on in memory as an archive.

“I dunno… Everybody always gets all excited about ‘new regions’ at the same time; I just don’t get it. It’s like… did nobody map that region before? Until now? There’s already tons of people talking about going to beat the region once they complete their journeys here and it’s just weeeird.”
Still, though. The question intrigued her. “A new dragon, though…? I mean… of course there’s gonna be dragons over there. There’s dragons in every region. But me, I’d love to see a Dragon and Fairy type that doesn’t depend on Mega Evolution. That’d be pretty sweet.”
Iris paused, her eyes dropping into a sly expression. “Why do you wanna know if I would go? So you could go with me~?”
“No, of course not,” Shamus snorted, rolling his eyes.
“I just thought, you know since we were both type specialists, you’d like to join me in looking around the region. Go around routes and cities looking for dragon types and fire types. It definitely wouldn’t be a date.”
Her response though was rather interesting. A fairy dragon sounded complete opposite of what Shamus would imagine a dragon to be. Certainly created an interesting picture in his mind.
“A fairy dragon type? Seems like a strange element to combine with dragon.”

Shamus was looking at Palmon, analyzing her. If Digimon were Pokemon, no doubt the vegetation Digimon would be a grass type; which naturally turned the fire type Pokemon trainer off.
Having been explained the whole “destined” thing and that those destined don’t go out catching other Digimon, they were bound to their chosen Digimon to form an eternal friendship and bond.
“Pfft,” Shamus spat.
“If that was the Digimon I was stuck with, I’d demand a redo.”

POV shift from this response.
It wasn’t always that the entire class was able to go along with Shamus’s mischievous antics. Being one of the student’s who sits in the back of the room, it gave him quite the cover to pull some antics off. But as today he and a few others came up with a plan that won’t cause any real lasting harm, the entire class agreed to go along with it.
They all agreed to show up to class early on April Fool’s Day and before the Professor came into the room, have their desks facing the wrong way. The look on her face will make their day.
Professor Juniper walked into her classroom and stopped immediately, looking puzzled.
Shamus got a glimpse of his professor’s face and quietly chuckled to himself
Okay, that was fun. Now comes the part where Professor Juniper tells them the joke’s over and to turn their desks around to face the proper front of the room.
Instead she walked to the back of the classroom and addressed the class, acting as though class was canceled. Again Shamus chuckled under his breath. He thinks the professor is playing along, and again, she’ll just get everyone to turn around any second now.
“Only kidding, Jokes on you”. Professor Juniper revealed that behind the map of Unova was another whiteboard to match the one in the front. This was news to Shamus. No longer amused, Shamus looked shocked.
Wait so...now I’m in the front of the room?!! THIS ISN’T FUNNY!!

“When I was a student, I remember her being a fairly hard teacher. Gave lots of assignments, quite a lot of lectures, but there were a lot of hands on stuff with the Pokemon too which was the best part, especially when we got to pick some Pokemon and battle.”
“Then after I got my first Pokemon she talked about how if I ever needed anything to contact her. So when the day came when I needed to start over and get a new Tepig, she totally fell for my sob story. After that I didn’t really think about her much.”
“Until the day came where she found out about what really happened to my original Tepig. She took my Pokemon away and so I hated her for a while.”
“Then later, I found out my Pokemon were being greatly taken care of, and I guess I came out of that punishment a better trainer, so I got over it.”
“Now she completely supports me and talks about how proud she is how much I improved, I guess I like her, you know, as a teacher.”

Shamus in Elite 4
Through my Hilbert headcanon I have him one day becoming champion and so I figured when assembling his Elite 4, since there’s been no indication on how they get their status, I figured whenever the current Elite 4 retires, the new champion invites someone (whether it be a former champion, gym leader, or trainer) to fill the spot. Since by the time Hilbert becomes champion, Shamus has become an accomplished and well known fire trainer, so I thought of putting Shamus as one of the Elites.
I don’t know if I’ll be rping this verse much so not much detail is known, but if anyone was interested in his timeline, I thought I’d post this.
Shamus would be like 22 or so in this verse.
