This is a silly question on my end that idk if it's been asked before but does the SLARPG world have Sonic or a legally distinct Sonic equivalent in the world?

Asking the hard hitting questions everyone wants to know :)

i would say they have loose, non-copyright infringing equivalents of most of our popular media on reverie. of course, with casual social media posts about the novas' interests i usually just say the actual thing, instead of coming up with some kind of thinly veiled stand-in. but in an actual game i would not do that. i might say that allison would be a fan of sonic adventure 2, but i couldn't literally show her playing sa2 in a game. the sprite comic where claire recites the wikipedia page for bronkie the bronchiasaurus is not canon

(i have also seen people (jokingly?) claim that slarpg must take place in the sonic universe, because of my's fursona's teeny tiny cameo in idw sonic and an in-joke line in slarpg implying my fursona lives in greenridge. but don't think too hard about that)
