Hugo waited, meeting her smile with a little one of his own.  She was older, like he was, and it was good to see her healthy and alright.  She’d deserved so much more, and even as young as he’d been Hugo knew her life had been hard because of him.  When he saw her start to cry his own eyes filled, smiling tearfully as he immediately stepped in close and hugged her. “Amicia.  I missed you too! It’s so good to see you.”  He couldn’t stop crying, feeling relief at having found her again and knowing he wasn’t likely to die again , that maybe they’d actually get some time.  At her words he pulled back though, taking her face in his hands to look at her as he shook his head. “You protected me as much as anyone could’ve Amicia.  Everything and everyone was working against you, and we were both just..so young.  I let the Macula win when I thought I lost you, I should’ve given you more time.  You’ve nothing to be sorry for Amicia, I’m so proud of you.”

as hugo embraced her, amicia's tears flowed freely. the last time she held him in her arms, he’d been so small and so still. the memory of his lifeless body, his sacrifice, was never far from her mind. but now he was here, in her arms, and for a moment she allowed herself to forget about the trauma of their childhood. but hugo's words stopped her in her tracks. he was proud of her ?? how could that be ?? she had failed him, failed to protect him from the horrors of the world, and from the macula. he died, because of her. if she had just been smarter or less impulsive, things could have been different. but as she looked into his eyes, she saw the truth in his words. he really believed that.

smiling sadly, she placed a hand on his cheek. ❝ you’re really all grown up now. you look like father, ❞ she laughed, her voice choked with emotion. ❝ none of it was your fault, hugo, you were a child. you faced so much and never once gave up, you fought until the end. i could never have done what you did, and i am so proud of you. ❞ it was hard to accept, but deep down amicia knew she would have let the world burn for him. she would’ve done anything to keep him alive. it was fortunate for the world that he remained stronger than her, even in his darkest moments. pulling him into another hug, she breathed deeply. ❝ thank you, ❞ she whispered. she wasn’t sure she would ever forgive herself, but knowing that he didn’t blame her meant more than she could say.

“What is there better to do with your time than compliment strangers and being friendly?”  Coriane smiled easily at the woman, knowing she wasn’t genuinely upset.  Or hoping she wasn’t at least, it would be quite awkward otherwise. She admittedly expected the stern-faced woman to shut down her invitation, knowing she likely wasn’t the other’s type of even annoyed her, but then Amicia agreed. “Wait, really?!”  Cori grinned brightly, obviously delighted she’d agreed but she tried to calm down, not wanting to freak the other out by her enthusiasm.  “Amicia.  It’s unfair that your name is just as pretty as you are. It’s a pleasure to meet you Amicia. Do you have a favorite type of food?  Or should we just walk together until we find a resturaunt?”

❝ well, i suppose there isn't much better to do these days, ❞ amicia said with a small smile, tucking a strand of dark hair behind her ear. she wasn't used to strangers approaching her, let alone complimenting her. ❝ uh, thanks, that’s kind of you. it’s nice to meet you, too. ❞ she added cautiously, though her upbringing kept her tone polite. amicia hesitated for a moment, considering the question about food. it had been a long time since she had the luxury of being able to choose what she wanted to eat, but she didn't want to come across as rude. ❝ french ?? i don’t know, i don't really have a favorite type of food, ❞ said, shrugging, slightly. ❝ but i don't mind walking with you to find somewhere to eat. ❞ as she fell into step beside coriane, amicia couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. she was trying to get out more, but she wasn't used to being around people she didn't know, she’d lived alone far too long before ending up in sydney. ❝ so, where are you from ?? ❞ she asked, trying to make conversation.

The love affair between Evelyn Hugo and Celia St. James spanned for 41 years.

They first met on the set of Little Women in 1959 when Evelyn was 21 and Celia was 19/20.

They were together for about 3 years until they had their 1st breakup in 1962. Evelyn was 24 and Celia was 23.

They spent 5 years apart until in 1967, they reunited inside a bathroom at the Academy Awards. Evelyn was 29 and Celia was 28.

They were together for 9 years until they had their 2nd breakup in 1976. Evelyn was 38 and Celia was 37.

This time, they spend 12 years apart until in 1988, they reconnect through letters before once again reuniting and rekindling their love. Evelyn was 50 and Celia was 49.

They manage to get back the decade and 2 years they lost as they spend 12 years together until Celia’s death in 2000. Evelyn was 62 and Celia was 61.

Evelyn and Celia spent a total of 24 years together and 17 years apart, non-consecutively.

But the two loved each other all throughout the 41 years. Not once did they stop loving the other. Although in the end they express their regret of losing all that time, what’s important is that their hearts always remained with one another.

They always managed to find their way back to each other.

And in the end, they were able to spend their last years together as wives.

then you have the events of re2 and the whole raccoon city thing with claire, sherry, and ada.

following raccoon city, he and claire split up, with leon continuing to look after sherry, but they were taken by the u.s. military.

sherry was taken away, and he was thoroughly interrogated, with the government interested in recruiting him. it wasn’t something he wanted, but he accepted to ensure sherry was kept in good hands and safe from any experimentation due to her g antibodies.

he was turned into an expert special agent, proficient in weapons handling and close quarters combat, largely thanks to a soldier, named krauser.

a few years later, he and krauser were sent on a mission dubbed operation javier, long story short, they completed the mission but krauser was injured and leon was later told he died in an accident.

then you have the events of re4 with leon being sent to find the president’s missing daughter. i feel like most people know that game.

following everything with the los illuminados, he reunited with claire during the harvardville incident

the next year he was involved in the pittsburgh incident

and shortly after the penamstan conspiracy incident, where he once again ran into claire amid more virus concerns. he remembers parting with her on not so great terms

he last remembers wesker’s death, and finally meeting chris at a terrasave reunion.

he grew up in the ruling class of samurai, raised in a strict, disciplined environment, trained by his father, uncle, to become a samurai.

his mother died of an illness when he was a child, something he took very hard.

a few years later, his father was murdered in front of him. jin hid out of fear, an action that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

following his father's death, he was taken in by his uncle, who became his only surviving family. he was both a mentor and parental figure, their bond becoming that of a father and son.

years later, the mongols launched an invasion of tsushima.

jin was one of eighty samurai who were sent in a desperate, suicidal attack against the mongols at komoda beach, hoping to slow the invasion before they reach the mainland. during the battle, he was grievously wounded and left for dead, while his uncle was captured and the rest of the samurai were killed.

he was saved by a thief named yuna, who also “created” the ghost myth and taught him how to fight and act like a thief.

with her and a few others help, jin was able to save him uncle and defeat the invaders.

however, straying from the samurai code resulted in him being labeled a traitor, the shogun dissolving his family’s clan, and ordering his uncle to kill him.

jin and his uncle reluctantly duel each other, with jin defeating him. however, he completely abandons his samurai ways and spares his uncle rather than honoring his request for a proper samurai death.

deek’s been through a lot of trauma thanks to his time in war & living through the apocalypse certainly hasn’t helped. he has a grim, cynical way of looking at things, but can still be lighthearted with the people he cares about. he has a very sarcastic sense of humor and a hard time taking orders from others, something that followed even in his army career. it takes him time to warm up to people, but once he cares for someone, he’ll do anything for them.

memories of their real life:

former member of the army that served in afghanistan, he was an honorable solider but hated every min of it. he was discharged after being the surviving member among his squad after a crash. he tried to save the others, but they were already gone, it’s something that still haunts him.

after that, he came home, bought a motorcycle & drifted around for a few years before getting a job as a mechanic & joined up with the mongrels motorcycle club as an enforcer. that’s where he met his closest friend turned brother, boozer, & became good friends with another member named jersey jim.

after numerous years with them, he met & later married sarah, who he went nomad for, which upset just about every brother he had in the club aside from boozer.

he was in farewell, oregon with boozer & sarah when the outbreak hit, & long story short, they managed to get an injured sarah out on a chopper while the boys fight their way to the camp she was taken to. they found it overrun by freakers (infected people/zombies), leading deacon to believe sarah was killed.

 the virus took over, resulting in complete societal collapse & left few humans alive. deek & boozer adapted to the new world & worked as bounty hunters.

& essentially after finding hope that sarah’s still alive, he goes on a wild chase to find her, only to find out her work/the people she worked for created the virus & they’re mutating it to create new basically “super” people.

in the end he managed to get sarah back, but the world had still gone to hell so y’know.
