I’m like you. My mental health isn’t great right now, but TS have always been a bright spot for me. Nothing I’ve read has ever convinced me they’re anything but what they say they are. Good friends. And I believe they’re both happy with their personal choices and I’m happy for them. Watching their old programs and interviews still provides a happy escape when I need it. There are so many things going on in the world to be unhappy about, why choose to be miserable over a pair of retired Canadian ice dancers? I don’t get it.

Thank you for saying it out loud. I think Tessa and Scott are fine. It’s normal that their lives are changing post-retirement but there is no evidence that there is anything negative going on now.

Sigh. Part of me wishes we could have just enjoyed them having dinner with Jeff and not have made it a Thing four years ago.

I’m actually in Halifax by coincidence and a friend who has no idea I spend time in this fandom took me to the same restaurant for lunch today. It was excellent.

I was deep in his insta looking for that photo and woooooow what a ride. what a time. kinda makes me wish we could relive it without the ~stress… but would it have been as fun? Idk.

I honestly feel like if I went to Halifax, I’d have to go. At least it’s good!
