Iâm like you. My mental health isnât great right now, but TS have always been a bright spot for me. Nothing Iâve read has ever convinced me theyâre anything but what they say they are. Good friends. And I believe theyâre both happy with their personal choices and Iâm happy for them. Watching their old programs and interviews still provides a happy escape when I need it. There are so many things going on in the world to be unhappy about, why choose to be miserable over a pair of retired Canadian ice dancers? I donât get it.
Iâm sorry youâre also not in a good space đ sending you love
Thank you for saying it out loud. I think Tessa and Scott are fine. Itâs normal that their lives are changing post-retirement but there is no evidence that there is anything negative going on now.
idk why people intentionally want to feel sad, but I guess the storyline stuck for them and now here they are??
this is apparently a hill I will die on, but personally choosing to believe Scott and Tessaâs relationship is healthy and friendly is so good for your mental health
things wouldnât make you respond with đ emojis if you already believed they were true to start
Sigh. Part of me wishes we could have just enjoyed them having dinner with Jeff and not have made it a Thing four years ago.
Iâm actually in Halifax by coincidence and a friend who has no idea I spend time in this fandom took me to the same restaurant for lunch today. It was excellent.
I was deep in his insta looking for that photo and woooooow what a ride. what a time. kinda makes me wish we could relive it without the ~stress⊠but would it have been as fun? Idk.
I honestly feel like if I went to Halifax, Iâd have to go. At least itâs good!
The Bicycle Thief: We were so excited last night to be joined by Olympic medal winning figure skaters Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir, and Jeffrey Buttle! We hope you had a wonderful time, and we cannot wait to see you again!
