The Three Of Us is a fic centering around a college aged trans dad Henry and a sweet, college student Alex who wants everything to do with the father daughter pair that he can. The second chapter is currently up, and the whole fic should be about 5/6 chapters!

that being said…. i’m thinking of starting a oneshot series to follow the events of The Three Of Us, mostly centered around requests for people here! So if you have any requests for stories about Henry, Alex, and Darcy, put them in my ask box!! i’ll start on them asap, and they’ll be officially posted on Ao3 starting after 3OfUs is completed!

“Where’s her mom?”

Silence cascaded over Henry, and he went stiff, a breath caught in his throat. He hesitated, diverting his eyes down at his daughter. “She doesn’t have one,” he answered slowly. “Her father was a one night stand in London.”

He could almost hear Alex’s confused expression. “Her… father? But aren’t you her father?” He moved closer, just by an inch. “You’ve lost me, H.”

“I’m trans,” Henry spat out. It was something he had gotten used to about himself, but sometimes, when it regarded Darcy’s birth, it still felt like poison on his tongue. “So, yes. I’m her father, but I also… she’s…”

A hand fell on Henry’s thigh. “I gotcha,” hummed Alex. “Sorry for prying.”

“It’s quite alright.” The weight of this almost-strangers hand laid heavy against the fabric of Henry’s pants, not unwelcome, just new. “Besides, there wouldn’t be a mother anyway. I happen to be very, very gay.”

After that moment, Henry couldn’t think at all, because Alex Claremont-Diaz started to sing. Not only that, but he started to sing in Spanish. His fingers strummed the strings along with his words, a perfect melody that coaxed both Darcy and her father.

But he needed to study, and his apartment was being sprayed for bugs, the cafe was too loud, and there was no way in hell he was taking his daughter to Pez’s frat on a Friday afternoon. So, the library it was. There was no other choice.
