There’s something quietly sacred about moving through the world with them; side by side on winding roads, in crowded stations, under foreign skies that feel less unfamiliar when you're together. You share headphones and snacks, trade glances that say more than words, laugh at signs you can’t read and find comfort in the way their presence makes even the strange feel like home.

They brush your hand as you walk, not always holding it, but always close enough to remind you you’re not alone. You catch them watching you when you’re looking out at the view, like you’re the one worth traveling for.

It's like a promise: no matter how far you wander, you're never truly lost.

Its kinda hard to be jealous of Roman's canon relationships because (in my opinion) none of them had any substance anyways? Except like with gerri but she dropped him as soon as it became inconvenient so still not jealous. Like gifs of him being touchy and affectionate with Grace in like ep 3-4 when he literally breaks up with her in that episode? And Tabitha was just not down for how weird he is and he got bored. Like? Not jealous at all.

Anyone else with traumatized f/os think about what they had went through in canon and get so genuinely sad/upset about it?The painful yearning to have been there for them, to have been able to get them out of that situation if possible and if not still be there, to show them love and support during that time

Their hands find your waist like they’ve always known where they belong, guiding you closer until there’s no space left; just shared breath and matching heartbeats.

Their lips find yours slowly, like a tide easing in, warm and coaxing, lingering just long enough to make you ache. Each kiss is unhurried, reverent. A touch that says I know you, I want you, I’m not going anywhere.

When they pull back, it’s only far enough to rest their forehead against yours. A thumb traces your cheek like you’re something fragile, something sacred. Then they kiss you again—slower this time, deeper. Like they want to memorize you. And when they finally whisper your name, it sounds like worship.

You sigh. You basically melt. You stay right there, because where else would you ever want to be?

f/os who would take you apart and put you back together like a machine only they know how to operate.

f/os that watch you sleep when they can’t rest even when the sun has long since gone and the early rise is but moments away.

f/os that would see you fall into satin threads and weave each one carefully until it makes you all over again.

f/os that love so hard and so fiercely, that these mere acts are like simply breathing air to them. maybe it’s not easy to verbally express their adoration or maybe it spills from their lips every day, but they can’t hide the way they take care of your weary bones. not a day goes by where they don’t hide a faint grin while they watch you when you’re not aware and doing the treacherous task that is to simply live. i’m saying…

f/os that like to make living a bit easier, so they can see you do it every day. if you’re gone, who’s going to love them as hard and as fiercely as you do?

I feel so invalid for not being 'soulbonded' to my f/o in ficto communities. I want to so badly but it hasn't happened yet and maybe never will. I see others can communicate with their f/o and sense their touch etc. And I can't. I feel like it makes our connection lesser than others and it makes me wonder if my f/o loves me back at all

Imagine your clingy F/O always needing to be near you. Imagine them wanting to constantly be touching: coming up and wrapping their arms around your shoulders from behind (even when you're busy doing something), sitting as close as possible to you, playing with your fingers and hands if they are free, etc. Imagine them constantly asking where you're going, if you want them to come, making up excuses as to why they should probably join you anyway even if it's a one-person errand. They just always want to be with you!!

I want more ficto stuff that's not just selfship... like absolutely it's a huge part of being fictoromantic/sexual but also I want to see more about the actual experience and feelings of it. Not just being in a group with those who selfship for fun (no shade at ALL y'all are valid) like the loneliness of the love of your life always being just out of reach. Trying to love someone irl like you do your partner and you cant. The pain of being asked if you're single and you have to say yes. I just want to see more of it being respected as an aroace identity on its own

Imagine your f/o helping you get through a procedure/anything medical…

Always offering to do everything; to take you (even carry you) there, to stay in the room, to bring you water or snacks, to help distract you… literally anything you need, they’ve got you!!

Holding your hand when it gets tough, sneaking kisses on your knuckles and letting you squeeze as tight as you need <3

And of course the aftercare, absolutely pampering you until you feel better both emotionally and physically!!

✧ Their wet hair makes a watery stain on the pillow, and it's cold as you nuzzle close to them

✧ You accidentally hit them in the face when you raise your hand, and their eyebrows screw together dramatically: "ow"

✧ They almost run the red, because you rested your hand on theirs in the car

✧ A hasty, blankets-tangled kiss, after which you both wince and laugh because of your morning breath

✧ The sunburn on their shoulders and cheeks after going to the seaside

✧ The sudden but comfortable pause in a long, casual conversation

✧ The wonky, inside-out collar on the shirt that they've just put on. 

✧ The felt collecting in the pockets of their worn out jacket, the little hair balls that form on their sweater

✧ The knowledge that you don't have to put on an act or suck in your stomach to be loveable to them, that you are always allowed to do weird, awkward, imperfect things, because they love you
