   The tiny princess didn’t react to any of the cleaning, or the needle being pulled in and out. Not even a flinch. Her eye being taken out and limbs losing their skin was more painful than this anyway. A lot more painful. 

   Being handed the candy bar, Mikotsu took it gently with her skeletal hands. Her eyes shifted from the strange object to the woman. She had no idea what it even was.

   “tHis IS...?”

“Dont worry I wont hurt her.” She tries to calm them as her pulls out the needle and starts to stitch the wound after he cleans it. As wad as it was with each stitch she put in it stopped bleeding little by little. She ckeeaned away what was left of the blood once she was done stitching the wound completely. It took a total of ten she was surprised the young girl was so resilient still she fishes through her pockets pulling out a candy bar.

“Eat this you lost a lot of blood you need to bring you sugar levels up.” She says sweetly handing the bar over.

   Mikotsu wanted to decline the help, regardless of what the woman wanted. However, even she knew that this was a pretty bad wound. The blood stain on her dress seemed to grow, the nearby fabric sucking up the liquid. 

   With great hesitance, she nodded. The servant atop her head, meanwhile, was panicking horribly. If a skeleton fish could cry, they would. 

   “Please be careful with the Princess!”

   The princess insisted. Of course, the other was right. The wound crossing her stomach was bleeding quite badly. Mikotsu’s pain tolerance was just insanely high.

   The princess was amused with how happy this girl seemed. It made her want to laugh (although not a laugh of condescension). She suppressed it, as laughing caused her to cough, but a smile still danced upon her lips. 

    “Her Highness is also pleased to make your acquaintance. And yes, to answer your question, we live in a palace. You would most likely be able to see the silhouette behind us.” 

   The palace was indeed tall, it would actually take a while of walking for it to fade into the horizon. Speaking of the palace certainly caused a lot of pride for the servant, it was clearer than day in his voice.  

    Higan watched the skeletal little fish with interest, half-wondering why the girl herself wasn’t speaking. Not that it mattered - not everyone was capable of talking, she knew from experience - but it was curious all the same. Skeletons weren’t normally as animated as this one.   

    The rictus that seemed to split her face only grew when she processed what the servant actually said: this was a princess. She was in the presence of real royalty… It was terribly exciting, and for some reason, she felt almost– proud?

     (”Honored” was the word, but she couldn’t place it.) 

    “It’s very nice to meet you, PrincESS…! And you too, Mister FiSH…!”

    “Do you live in a castle, PrincESS…? Is it bIG…? Like in the storybooKS?”
