GANGS

Marino Crime Family- Longest female gang around, established in 1987. The Marino’s have control over Queens, the largest borough of New York City.  Experts of creating problems where none exist, they tend to solve said problems for the right payment. In the district of Queens they target labor and construction organizations and provide “safety”.

Daughters of Eve- New motorcycle gang on the New York scene, but they wasted no time taking over Manhattan from their rivals, the Pink Putas. The Eves import and sell a great deal of cocaine, but haven’t tied down import from the West Coast so they make their means through illegal gambling.

The Pink Putas- Smallest but deadly gang with hold over no district currently, fighting power from the Daughters of Eves who swooped in unannounced and acted as friend rather than foe. The Putas are notorious for their business in forgery and procuring important government documentations. Need an ID, hell even a new identity? These ladies will get it done quickly and professionally. Since they are the smallest gang, they go extreme measures to prove their strength through senseless acts of violence and have a habit of leaving their mark behind at the scene.

Amanozako- The largest female crime syndicate in New York City. The Amanozako grew in size by offering a safe haven to Japanese females who sought refuge from various situations. While they have not been around as long as the Marino Family, they are feared on a mutual level, if not more. Known for their investments in casinos with illegal gambling (no evidence of course), and nightclubs that are rumored to be fronts for prostitution, the Amanozako seem to have a tight hold on Brooklyn.

Queen Cobras- Staten Island has been currently taken over by the Queen Cobras after being taken from the Amanozako, making the two gangs rivals. The Cobras are able to get their hands on whatever you may need, there isn’t a thing in the world they cannot obtain. Specializing in importing exotic animals, and exporting illegally captured animals--and even humans if necessary. Cobras are know for the excessive bullying without targeting the individual directly, usually landing their fangs in family members or blackmailing. It’s easier to just do as you’re asked.

Monstrous Femmes- Newest gang to be established and originating straight from New York City. They’re the only gang with California drug trade, and were able to get a hold of Staten Island before the Pink Putas could move in.

Soul Sister September 2013 Vol. 13

I have SO MUCH more Soul Sister I want to post, I just got sidetracked for the last month with the beginning of the term, and scholarship season for study abroad scholarships. Sorry!  And welcome to all my new followers over the past month!

PLOT

Baseball bats adorned by nails, blood streaked on bricks walls. Gunshots hammer in your ears under the endless city lights and you soon find yourself in a place of pure chaos, caught between a power struggle.

You don't know how it happened, what misstep you took to get here, but you soon find yourself being dragged into New York's underbelly. It is bone crushing bone, broken knuckles grinding into fractured noses, teeth lost under the heel of steel toed boots. The girls here are feral; wolves ripping at rabbit's flesh as they struggle to reach the top of the food chain.

The only way to survive is to band together; join the toughest gang, the strongest pack. Learn to fight, tooth and nail, blood and guts.
