I feel like Etho deliberately decided to not log on to the server while the exile arc is going on, apart from his brief stint as the mediator between the POE and the NoPOE, not only to avoid getting exiled himself but the whole thing probably did not seem fun for him. Like when he wasn't active during the crossover in Season 9. And honestly, I respect that.

Do I wish he was involved? Sure. I am an ethogirl after all. But I do respect his tendency to not force himself into participating in situations that wouldn't be fun for him. It speaks to the introvert in me.

But it does beg the question: Now that the Permit Office has been abolished, will Etho still be building the stone shop he said he had an idea for in his last episode? Because I was kinda looking forward to that.

The most feasible theory for me is that they will be attending a red carpet premier for the minecraft movie along with a bunch of other mcyts

The hermits are up to something and I keep seeing half-baked easily disprovable theories flying around so let me debunk what I know isn't true.

All we know is there is a secret "thing" involving a bunch of the hermits (per Cub's description). Gem is apparently traveling soon for something secret (likely related). I'm not sure whether the strange spawn move of Hermitcraft is related. Some people think it is.

I've seen people suggesting they're doing another charity event, which is entirely possible. However, it is highly unlikely they are doing a Gamer's Outreach charity event because the Gamers for Giving event this year isn't until April (11th-13th I believe). Unless the Hermits are doing a special event outside of the Gamers for Giving (which isn't unthinkable) it isn't that.

I've seen other people suggesting they're doing a "Hermitcon," which like. Obviously not? The whole point of a Hermitcraft convention would be meeting fans. They're not gonna just. Show up at a convention center and pray we're already there?? And I see no reason they would all need to preemptively travel for a meeting for this, so Hermitcon is highly unlikely.

I think the most likely situation is a group trip like Disney, as Impulse suggested doing. If this were the case, however, I don't think they would be "hyping it up" so to speak? Like I don't think Cub would be teasing them all going to Disney together to us? Maybe. But it's a little odd.

But I wanted to start a conversation, so to anyone with theories, I am all ears.

Imagine etho actually watches the great potato war he becomes interested in playing skyblock (which has become A LOT more complex than what it was in techno's videos) and becomes so invested in it he'll disappear for like a year

do you think someone should email etho the clip from the end of potato war three about how number one isn't a prize, it's a prison. do you think he'd listen. do you think the reason he's been gone is that he's been busy following sun tzu's famous advice (don't put all your tactics in youtube video, you fool, you imbecile). do you think he even knows what a potato war is,

Theory that the cure for Xaden would kinda be like an SJM-esque move wherein he's going to have to give up all his powers in order to not be venin anymore.

Which would mean giving up his bond with Sgaeyl and his "metaphysical" connection with Violet, which is something they both love having.

It's going to be like a choice between being a cured but incomplete version of himself thereafter or remain a venin and/or die as one.

But I'm really hoping there's a solution that Violet's going to figure out from something that should have been obvious from the start lol.

(Also, very big possibility that RY will end the series with the total separation of the dragons and riders [yes, kinda like in HTTYD] since if all venin get defeated and the alliance with the fliers get established, there will no longer be a need for Basgiath, at least as a war college, and bonding with dragons.)
