How to find the best version of yourself that you'll fall in love with
As someone who has gone through SO many versions of herself and is now slowly growing to be a person she's genuinely happy and in love with

Trust me when I say I've had a lot of identities these past few years. It took me a lot of time to really find the best version of myself, the version that I'm genuinely happy with, the version that my 10 year old self would have looked up to. However, it's different for everyone. The definition of an "it girl" to me might be different from your definition, and the personality and life that truly feels me might not suit you. So, please take note that this is highly subjective and it's all about you and what works for you.
The one and only thing I did to rebrand myself: I created a character.
I gave my character a new name. You can give yours your current one or a nickname. I gave mine my second name. I built this character, I envisioned her, I turned her into a realistic person that I knew I'd look up to.
Basically, create an alter ego. And it wasn't easy to curate this character for me, it took a lot of time for me to build her into someone that I'd want to be, someone that still has flaws but embodies the energy and lifestyle I want.
Know what you want. How does this new you act? What do they like and dislike? What matters to them? How do they impact the people around them? What are they like? How would you describe them? What are their flaws and how do they deal with it? What are the bad habits they got rid of?
Make sure this version you want feels like you. This isn't about turning into another person, it's about growing as a person. It's about looking in the mirror and loving what you see with no doubt and no regrets. It's about knowing what you want and taking it right away, and it's about taking control of your own life and shaping it into one that you will fall in love with every single day.
Look up to this person. Get to know this person, know every single thing about them. Make sure that as you create this alter ego, it's truly someone you'd 100% look up to.
Fall in love. Personally, this part is my favorite. I start to visualize and imagine this person so much that I completely fall in love with her. This version is me, truly me, and utterly me. It's not someone else, it's the person I want to be because everything about this person feels like me. I start to romanticize growing and becoming this person, slowly shaping myself, changing my lifestyle, taking action, taking initiative, and building myself and my life brick by brick to fall in love with what I see in the mirror.
Take action and build yourself up. Slowly embody this person. You can't change overnight, but you can grow and shape yourself step by step.
This is NOT about turning into someone else. This isn't about changing yourself to be more likeable or to please others. This is all about knowing what direction you want to go and taking it. Make sure this character is realistic and truly you. Do not try to be someone you won't be happy with, be someone that will make it easier for you to love yourself. Don't become someone that will only push you beyond your limits and break you, become someone who can take control of their own life enough to build their life solely for themselves.
Find yourself, find the best version of yourself, and you'll know what path to take. All you have to do now is take the path.

A "calorie" is a unit of energy. "Calories" in our food refer to how much energy is technically available within. We determine that by burning food in a machine called a calorimeter which measures the energy released as it burns.
Your body is more complicated than that though. Some of the energy in your food is used to do the hard work of digesting that food. This is called the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF)
The total amount of energy you end up absorbing from any given food you eat depends on a multitude of factors including what mood you're in while you eat and the individual makeup up of your gut flora.
So when you read a food label and see how many calories it contains, if you were to just set it on fire, remember that it's not telling you the whole story of how your body uses that energy.
It's also not actually telling you the whole story of how many calories that food technically contains, because food labels can be off by as much as twenty percent.
These are some of the reasons why calorie counting can be extremely ineffective for a lot of folks. Determining your actual caloric intake and expenditure throughout the day is not so simple.
Additionally, think about what you're doing to your nervous system by creating a negative association with the energy content of your food. Energy isn't bad. We need it to live.
If you've been taught to feel a negative association with calorically dense foods (energy dense foods) then I sincerely recommend never looking at the label. It isn't accurate and it isn't showing you how much energy your body is even really getting from that food.
But it is probably putting you into a stress state, which impairs your digestion and decreases nutrient absorption (as I've mentioned before.)

If you are feeling good about yourself or situation and then your mood suddenly shifts leaving you feeling insecure, unsure, etc. try to remind yourself that nothing has truly changed but your perception. Your cute outfit did not suddenly become horrid. Your delicious meal did not tranform into a terrible one. Your peers perception of you has not radically transformed over a social misstep. Everything we experience is put through it through our mental filter, and that can convince us that everyone else sees us with the judgement we have for ourselves. Be kind to yourself.

a list that can give you some things to do tonight before tomorrow has the chance to be ruined <3
wash your dishes
see those dirty dishes? yeah, will you want to see them tomorrow? exactly, so let yourself wake up and not see any dirt dishes. This can be substituted for any chores that personally bothers you when you wake up, but if you don't know what bothers you or you also hate dishes this is a great chore to use.
pick out your clothes
many people wake up groggy and aren't ready yet to make a decision about the day, so while you're getting ready for bed, why don't you also get some clothes out for tomorrow? double check the weather and maybe pull out your umbrella so you don't forget it ^^
prep your wake up treat
waking up is sometimes difficult, so having a little treat for getting up. A popular option is coffee, but I get my toaster and a plate out. That way, I can make my breakfast without having to think too much about it. But I used to struggle to eat, so for a while, I had tea. This doesn't need to serve as your breakfast, but I find that it's best for me because i won't skip it since it is also a necessity.
make lunch for tomorrow
sometimes you can't do that, but at the very least, planning lunch and double checking you have the ingredients is a great way to prepare for tomorrow. Midday, you're normally busy and don't have much time to make lunch, or you're enjoying your TV binge and don't have to think too much about anything this can make it a lot easier. When my depression was worse, I found this to be helpful for making me smile
pack your bag
this is great if you hate mornings especially and don't want to have to think about what you may need throughout the day. If you walk around your space the night before and gather anything you may need the next day. I like to think through any assignments I need to complete and grab those materials and then think about where I will be and what I made need while in that location.
wash your face and brush teeth
this is a great way to mentally prepare for the next day. As you wash your face you can listen to a meditation or podcast that can start helping you slow down for the night. Personally as a morning person I do this pretty early because my body begins to prepare for sleep around 8:00/sunset so when I get home I shower and wash my face and then do my oral hygiene routine after my last non-water drink which usually occurs after my last meal.
charge your devices
This is a small thing to do that can make your morning 100% easier. This can be done in your 30 minutes before bed away from the screen. I would also suggest charging your phone away from you that way if you use it for an alarm it forces you to stand up to turn it off, helping you wake up
go to bed at a reasonable time
This is the hardest to for me, as someone who struggles to slow down and stop, I tend to work until I drop, so going to sleep early can be difficult. I would suggest setting an alarm on your phone that tells you to wrap things up and another that serves as a hard

Use that makeup you've been saving for a rainy day. Paint your nails whenever you want. Eat that decadent treat you've been saving. Wear that gorgeous outfit. Read that book you've been putting off. Play that video game you bought and haven't touched. Pull out your finest dishes for dinner.
Nice things are meant to be used just like regular ones, and your life will feel richer for indulging in them. They are treasure, and so are you.

okay this is not as harsh as the title suggests but i wanted to put it literally bcuz this is a problem i've struggled with for the longest time. im gonna be brutally honest here. there are so many reasons why ur not of the social status you want to be or don't have as many friends as you like yadda yadda yadda. SO ,, here's my thoughts on why that's the case , and how to help! 🫶🏻🎀💬

whether its cuz ur trying to "fit in" or because you have a completely different personality stored in the back for everyone you meet, ur fake. its very simple. its not necessarily a bad thing, it just means ur insecure.
🧁𓂃 ࣪˖ how do you deal with this?
stop trying so hard girl. it's not that deep. there are 8 billion people on this earth and counting, u really think this person's gonna matter when ur living ur dreams and thriving even more than you ever imagined you could? no. move on. next please!
find out who the fuck you genuinely are. you're never gonna live your life if YOU aren't the one living it. once you get a start on finding who YOU are it's gonna make you more authentic -> more magnetic -> more attractive in every single way, including social.
u arent obligated to fit in. think about the type of people that you see in the street and you stare a while at, the type of people who stand out from a crowd for whatever reason, the people u look up to, ur idols who you could never imagine to meet in a thousand years; do you think they fit in? do you think merging with a crowd is what made them appeal to you so much? no. think abt that.
wake the fuck up and realise u deserve better. why are you neglecting yourself by hiding yourself from the world? would u do that to anyone else? would u get anyone else to change themselves just so they can fit in? girl get a hold of urself!!! you've been through so much and youve made it so far and yet you're still pretending to be someone you aren't?? you deserve SO much better. people who truly deserve you will always love you for you, no one else.

i want to preface this by saying theres nothing wrong w this at all and i completely understand but ur gonna face some problems of people interacting with you. or you interacting w them. or both. i was diagnosed w generalised anxiety disorder when i was 11, so i understand how much this can impact ur life not just socially but in all areas.
⭐𓂃 ࣪˖ how do you deal with this?
first thing im gonna mention to preface is this can be a symptom of an underlying condition u may need to get checked out. if its impacting ur everyday life please seek therapy, i am not a professional and cannot help u w this, even if i'd like to. i love u ♡
find what is making u anxious. what about social interaction is scary to you, and why? why does interacting w others make u nervous? is there a specific thing ur worried about or u find nervewracking? always. find. the root!
have compassion and empathy and patience w yourself. its perfectly okay and normal to some extent to feel like this and of course we're all gonna feel like this sometimes but its important to treat urself with care, especially in these times.
treat urself as u would a child. i recommend treating urself like a friend a lot but when ur in a delicate and emotional state like this its better to treat urself like ur ur own child. take care of urself with the same love and attentiveness as you would your own children and give yourself time and take care of yourself to work through the issue. ♡
break things down and take it slow and simple. break it into steps and PUT. YOURSELF. FIRST until u feel able to go back out into the public again and be That Girl ♡
──★ ˙ ̟🎀 ur straight up mean
this can be anywhere from just being generally disinterested in people, being constantly negative all of the time to being just really shitty and rude. we all have the same potentials and possibilities but sometimes we can fall into the trap of negative patterns when interacting with others, which is okay. everyone messes up sometimes. but the important thing is is that we fall back out of that and become even better for it!
💬𓂃 ࣪˖ how do you deal with this?
try ur best to put ur ego aside and think about yourself from an outside perspective. would you wanna be friends with you? if you were another person, how would you think people feel around you?
(🗒🎀 note: if that's too difficult, create someone in ur head or mentally assign ur traits, the good and bad, to someone you dont really know, and think ab how youd feel around them. insecure? jealous? confident? excited? nervous? think about it.)
i know it sounds weird but literally just sit down and talk to people close to u when you get the chance or the opportunity comes up and ask if anything you do comes off rude or blunt or abrupt or any sort of negative trait you think might be the issue here. or just subtly (or directly, either one works) try and find out their opinions on you so u can figure out if that aligns w what and how u wanna be, and then how you can change that.
just be generally more sweet and polite. people are easily gonna like you more if ur not a total dick. stop being mean to people, say please and thank you, compliment strangers, smile at everyone, put ur ego aside cuz its really not that deep girl.

okay being nice is not a bad thing. there is a fine line between being THE nice girl and being A nice girl. there is a fine line between being kind and being a pushover. you don't have to sacrifice urself to be nice to people. being nice should go both ways!
🧁𓂃 ࣪˖ how do you deal with this?
first things first, like all things and like i've said a billion times before, you need to address the root of what is causing you to act like this. this should always be the first thing you do when addressing any problem, esp w urself. why are you acting like this? what is causing you to endlessly seek approval like this and sacrifice urself in the process? think.
start saying no to people, even to the littlest things. if you want to do it then sure, but start saying no so much more often. it gives you a sense of control and shows you only you have a choice in the things you do in ur life, no one else.
define kindness. is what ur getting in return to this unconditional self sacrifice genuine kindness, or friendship, or respect, or attention, or whatever else you assume you're receiving from all of this? only you can answer that. ask urself what the genuine meaning of all the things ur trying to gain from this are and then see if that aligns w what ur receiving. (🗒🎀 note: also read this post of mine for more on this! ♡)
again, therapy is gonna help a lot w this. if this is making an impact on ur life, social or otherwise, then i am not a professional and cannot help u w this (as much as id like to). ily and i believe in u ♡

people are threatened by talent. people are threatened by beauty. people are threatened by what they aren't. so, congrats! you've achieved your goal! 🩷💭

i told my therapist once that people have told me i seem rude, unapproachable, intimidating, etc. and i felt really upset about it because i dont wanna come off that way. i wanna be nice and approachable and someone people can talk to. and she asked me what i would do if my favourite celebrity or famous person or whatever was my age and was walking through my school. i told her i'd think they were really cool and want to be friends with them, but wouldn't be sure how to go about it bcuz they'd be super intimidating. think about that.
🗒️🎀 note: but if you do find that people say this or act like this around you a lot, then you might need to do some introspection and ask urself if anything ur doing makes people feel like that rather than their own insecurities and mindset. ♡

i just want to quickly add that not everybody is going to like you. everyone feels a general sense of dislike from time to time and this post is what i mean by that, NOT how to make everyone like you bcuz that's literally impossible and something you shouldn't waste ur time and energy on. as harsh as i may have been in this post ur amazing and i love u no matter how much improvement you have to do ♡ i love you and am proud of you and you should be proud of yourself too!
