I was today years old when I learned that when you type “otp: true” in AO3 search results it filters out fics with additional ships, leaving only the fics where your otp is the main ship

I need to start commenting on more fics. I never really fully got how much it would mean to the authors but now that I am writing my own fanfic; I get it.

I was really struggling with the chapter I am currently writing and the knowledge that the POV is from a character I am not that familiar with scared me off, but then someone commented on my fic telling me they wanted to see more of it and I was able to overcome that fear. The knowledge that someone is enjoying my fic makes me happy and I want to make them happy too. And it's not just some numbers on the screen either, but actual words. A human connection.

Had a dream where my favourite mug broke. It was very scary and upsetting. I also got kiddnapped and was lost in an unfamiliar city after escaping, but I was/am mostly upset about the mug.

I am glad it was all a dream and that my mug is safe :)
