Recently wrote a Blue Lock fic about Anri, Ego, and the Wild Card program! It was a lot of fun looking into the unethical side of the facility and how the people in charge convinced themselves that what they were doing was okay.

I recently beat Pokemon Fire Red for the first time so I drew my team into this piece!

In making a retelling of Apollo Justice, one of my favorite changes (that I don't get to talk about much) was making Drew Misham the prologue device for each case. No prologue in that game beats Turnabout Trump's haunting animated sketch. Who is this man? How does he know what went on in that room? Why is he sketching it? Misham is a walking question mark of a character.

So I decided each case will open with him.

Writing his POV entirely in the passive voice while having him foreshadow the events of the cases has been a fun challenge. So fun that I'm not even fully done with writing Turnabout Corner, yet I have the Drew prologue for Serenade done and the one for Succession in the works.

Mr. Misham will return in Turnabout Corner's prologue soon! I just felt compelled to draw him after editing the investigation phase for a while.

Hey y'all, thanks for checking things out on this blog. I've been having some trouble with Tumblr visibility issues that I'm contacting support about. But in the meantime, my friend and I created a new blog @apollo-justice-retold for anything and everything related to our Apollo Justice rewrite fic. Back from the dead with a new Rumefuu! This was made for an AU co-created by VermillionShackle on AO3 and myself. The scene in the picture is actually a scene from his fanfic for this AU:

This is a Milgram Idol AU where all the prisoners are actually idols and the concept of their group, Milgram, is their canon story of being trapped in a weird prison after committing "murders." There is one incredibly important twist, though: The Milgram idol group is fully run by Denny's, which in this AU is a high end restaurant chain. Fuuta is Prisoner No. 003 of the Milgram group and Rumerie is a hot-shot model, with a Gentle Monster brand deal. This is the Milgram Denny's AU, crack treated (as you can hopefully tell by the image) very seriously.

One of the two ads in the back is actually a full piece and it is under the cut (Warning: Eyestrain, tasteful clothes-less-ness).

The amount I had to study Gentle Monster just for a joke ad that takes up a tiny amount of space...

This is a great point. I don't know how I missed it! It adds to the whole surreal vibe the painting gives. Kinda like it's saying "something is very off here" when you look at their relationship. And now that Cat is out, we know that something was wrong with the relationship from the start. Good catch!

It took a while to make this, but I hadn't seen many people taking this approach to explaining the apple, so I hope this helps dispel some of the confusion.

I will get back to this theory with more digging. But seeing this appear in the MV made me quadruple-take in the span of less than a second.... I've literally drawn this before this MV came out. As one of my friends put it, I've been brainrotting about Cat before Cat happened.

Now more than ever, Kazui's symbolism is getting connected to more famous artists (Leyendecker, Warhol, and of course more Magritte with the dove), and I cannot wait to dig into these connections.
