In order to firmly root how I will write Dimitri in relation to another character, it would be easier for me to do so if I’m able to write the progression of a relationship instead.

Well. The blonde clicks the cover for one of his glowing batons into its bottom, sliding it into its place over the battery he had freshly installed. His gaze doesn’t leave the pink-haired woman strolling the streets, and he raises an eyebrow.

Scanning her outward appearance, Dimitri thinks she looks nearly pretentious. Like a shallow pop starlet, of course— a smaller ripple in the pond than her successful sister Astra, but nearly a perfected echo with that swooshing skirt and coiffed hair that resembles a wig more than it does genuine DNA.

The woman is dressed up and down in the trendiest, most expensive clothes, certainly. The blonde nearly has a headache trying to imagine just how much those luxurious garments had cost. Is it too much too soon to assume those are one-of-a-kind custom pieces?

The real question, certainly, is whether Miss Haki Yao has born the spotlight because she has felt obligated to, or if she has decided to slide her way up among the highest by using her blood as a fast-pass to fame.

Curious, Dimitri purses his lips, deciding on finding out himself. He observes her walk— that practiced gait, and he approaches her with meticulous covertness before falling into step with a flounce of his own, hooking the loop of his baton onto his belt. It bounces against the matching weapon with every step.

❝ The Stars of Lyra, right~? ❞

He tilts his head, soft voice lilting nearly teasingly.

❝ It’s an easy guess when you walk around like that. ❞

Dressed to the nines. Rich. Like you own this town and all those living in it.

Dimitri gestures quickly to her attire, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

❝ You’re Astra Yao’s sister, aren’t you? ❞

A rhetorical question, of course. Now, all that’s left to do is wait and see just how far this girl will choose to distance herself from her sister.
