Hello again. This is Tasha as usual. We're back with a video. It'll probably be very badly edited because I got bitten by a cat today. She got me, like, straight at my, like, thumb wrist area, I guess, and it hurts a lot and I can't type. So well, I can't type, but it hurts. So, you know, try to take that easy because just my hands guys. But yeah I updated the Silent Wars apartment because @persony-person873 and I kind of have a thing now with just updating our apartments and adding things and bouncing ideas off each other which is super fun. So this is my second version with some inspiration and yeah.

Let's get right into it. This is how it looks. The layout is still pretty much the same. Yeah there's like not a lot of changes for example like the bathroom it's exactly the same so we're not going to look at it again. But I did change something about the others and went like a little bit further away from my own floor plan because Well why not honestly.

Let's go. Yeah okay there's like some top shots but we're not going to really look at them. We can start in the entryway. I did some changes on this side of of the room because, I didn't like how boxy everything looked. And I really liked where person to person did with the little mirror and I didn't want to do a big mirror like on on the wall because I think Athena wouldn't like it.

Because she's like, she doesn't like to be perceived you know. So she doesn't like that. We have we have some small mirrors though because they were in this wall art set that is new I think. They're like different pride ones so I chose the asexual one of course. I do not think that Athena would want to have this up.

(I don't think Athena actually knows that she's asexual. I don't think she had the realization yet. Will she have it within the story? I'm not even sure but like she just knows. Yeah I don't care but that's like her thing but at the same time that does she really know that is is that a thing that she identifies as? I doubt it honestly. We'll we'll see)

but yeah I put this cute little dog, plant because Ares, put another plant and I added this detail which is also by persony person. Thank you for that. I thought about it when I did my first one, that they would like need somewhere to put the darts for their dartboard and yeah, you know, I got beaten to it and so I added a little bowl for them as well. Yeah, otherwise not a lot changed apart from them having like a little less storage and a little more decor. They have a clock here now which by the way this is like a full set piece but I don't think they would have a clock like this because I just don't see it for them. It's just, if I designed this myself I would probably do it a little bit differently they would have some different art up but the feeling is okay.

Here's like some new oh my god it's fucking floating. Nobody say anything about floating things. I know that they're floating. I well I didn't know that they were floating but I know now that they're floating and we don't want to talk about it. Okay cool, yeah we see like the new kitchen layout. It's like not very different. I just moved some things but we're gonna talk about in a second. [...]

That's also floating. Why is everything fucking floating? I'm sorry. I did like some shelving and I apparently didn't pay enough attention to see that most of the decor is floating. But I'm also not going to go back and fix it now. I added this little piece of cross stitch and it's not really meant to be a cross stitch but like that's where the clock was and I wanted something else there. But, I've run out of art so I thought maybe like this or like, just something. I'm not sure what it's supposed to be. Oh I didn't think about they I wanted to have the little poster the caffeinated owl chart. Where would I put that? Let me let me think about that when we're in the kitchen.

(living room) But yeah I added this little lamp. Yeah and I changed the back because it looked very closed off and it also clipped through the ceiling which in its of itself is not a problem when you're inside. But I like this better. I like the openness of it better than it just being built in because that way you can get some light into the space. I also put some more books and just I did this a little bit differently. I added this tray, just for some clutter. Yeah this is still how the hallway looks. I thought about doing like a small dresser there but it didn't look right so I just kept this the way it was. Yeah still same thing.

Okay and we're in Athena's room. I did quite a bit of changes there and as persony person pointed out so nicely, we can actually shove the bed into the wall a little bit and make it a 1.5 bed which doesn't look so sad but it's also not a full double bed and I did that and like this the cut off pillow is like dealt with with those pillows that are next to it and yeah. I did some other things from I added this little trophy thing I think for like a science fair or something like just like she also probably got some things from school because she was good at things so. Because Ares has some trophies in his room so I want to add one for Athena. Yeah that's still how that looks. I added a little shelf on on the wall because it looked empty. I added this poster which I talked about in one of my lore posts recently that Athena got a an owl poster from Hera that like has different owl species and their latin names and stuff. So this is that. Yes those are cats. What of it? Yeah and this little plushie that's an owl Obviously it's not an owl but I don't have an owl plushie. Just imagine okay. We need to imagine some things because we don't have owl plushies which is super sad. I want an owl plushie. But yeah that's that's one of our owl plushies. I don't didn't put any others you just have to imagine.

And we are back in the kitchen which where I am currently wondering where to put decaffeinated owl chart. So probably like here behind the coffee machine that would make the most sense. I think, I got rid of the blue stove and I feel bad about it. Maybe I'll put it back. It's like I'm not sure yet because, I think it's funny and I think it would be a funny little detail of their apartment having a random blue stove with no other blue appliances just the stove is blue for no reason and they don't know why. I think that would be a funny detail and I'm probably gonna do that for the next version. I added a microwave of course. I also added some more clutter. Yes, I added a knife block. Don't think about it. And I also realized that I forgot a sink so I got rid of the big cabinet and changed these to look like this so I can add a sink here and they still have a counter to work on because otherwise they just have so much stuff here. I also added this runner because I had headcannoned recently that Athena, doesn't like to wear socks even on the wood floor which would probably be rather cold. So they just put a runner in the kitchen so she doesn't freeze her feet off. Because you know they care about her. Shocked Athena face.

And we're in Ares's room. I originally didn't change anything in it, because I kind of forgot. And then today I came back and was like well I'm not going to leave Ares's room unchanged. The bed used to be like in the middle. And I changed it to the side because I realized that in my head the door was more to this side and not in the middle of the room so I had to switch it over because my mind is the king here. Honestly my mind just produces things and goes like Well that's how it looks. And I'm like That is not possible actually. You can't that that is not possible. We can't do that and it's like no that's how it looks that's how it works. It's just thank you thank thank you for that mind. So so nice of you. Yeah, I changed like this, the shelf to this one because it's a little smaller. Gave him a couple plants and the other shelf just didn't fit anymore. We are disregarding the floating again. But, yeah, put a trophy. Same same clutter honestly just a few more plants. I changed like some of the furniture. I kept the bed the same though. Changed the posters a little bit so they're more, uneven, I guess. I also changed his desk lamp to this one, which is, like, a more industrial one that's next to the desk just because it looks better in my opinion. That's that change and yeah. From this side you can see the wardrobe. I changed that. Persony Person did this as well changing the wardrobe to kitchen cabinets like the tall swatch from the kitchen cabinets and honestly I didn't like the swatch of I didn't like the kind of wardrobe I used either so I was like we'll just try that as well because I didn't like it and this one is kind of nice because it looks very rich in a way. Like it has this very dark wood color but it has like this nice grainy texture so it you could imagine that it's probably like shiny or, or something like that and just looks really rich which is nice because like it's supposed to be from his, from his childhood bedroom which probably would have very expensive and like nice furniture because they're rich. So this like set would be one that he got for that and now has as his normal wardrobe. Also his wardrobe is way bigger than Athena's for no reason. Like he probably just got this one and is is it filled? We don't know it's probably equipment like in at least one of them. Speaking of I still didn't have space for equipment. I considered putting a punching bag right here but it's like right next to the wall though and it was like you can't just use it there and there's like no other space so I still didn't give him any workout equipment. I really tried this time

but yeah that is basically the new version. Persony person, the ball is back in your field :3

Aphrodite grabbed the blanket, their jackets and the keys and opened the apartment door for him, her face set and grim. Ares stepped out into the cool hallway, cradling his sister closer to his chest, his mind consumed by one question: How did things go this wrong? Athena didn’t protest when he carried her down the stairs, but she closed her eyes and held on just a little tighter. “Dizzy?” he asked. She hummed in confirmation. “Does anything hurt?” A half-hearted shrug. Ares pressed his lips together. Aphrodite was waiting by the door, holding it open for them. The backseat door was also already opened. “Sit with her in the back, I’ll drive,” she said. Ares nodded, carefully lowering Athena into the backseat and buckling her in. She leaned her head against the headrest, gaze wandering elsewhere. “Athena?” She looked at him with a slight delay. “…Yeah?” “Still with me?” She blinked. “Sure.” He grimaced, then jogged around to the other side of the car and sat down beside her, draping the blanket around her. “Dite, I’m set, go.” Aphrodite nodded, putting the car in reverse and peeling out of the parking spot. Athena closed her eyes, fingers twitching against the seat as if trying to ground herself. He could only imagine how dizzy she was. He put his arm around her, so he could catch her if she slumped forward. His heart was beating way too fast. For a while, they sat in the car in tense silence. Ares kept listening to Athena's breathing, grimacing at how labored it sounded, as if she lacked the strength to expand her chest fully. “Hold on, Thena,” he murmured. Aphrodite glanced into the rearview mirror, her expression worried, before focusing back on the road. Athena shivered. “How... How was your trip?” she asked faintly. Ares swallowed hard.  “It was good...” Before I found out my sister had been starving through it. “How about I tell you about it when you feel a bit better?” Athena hummed vaguely, gaze drifting. “Okay…” she mumbled. He reached for her neck, checking her pulse. It felt way too slow. “Thena, I need you to stay awake, please.” He took a look out of the car window. “Aph, take the shortcut over Hisarlic road.” “Can't, they're doing construction there, it took me like 20 years to get home the other day.” Aphrodite’s voice was tense. “Okay, then just go quick.” He felt Athena tense against him and added “within the speed limit.” His sister breathed a shaky sigh. She was still shivering all over. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and let her rest more comfortably against him. Only now did he realize that he had forgotten to get her shoes and that she wasn't even wearing any socks. He should have known, Athena always had been the kind of person to play “the floor is lava” with the carpets rather than just putting socks on on the hardwood floor. He leaned forward to tuck her feet into the blanket. A part of him wanted to ask her a million questions about what had happened, how it had gotten this bad, but he couldn't bring himself to voice a single one of them. He kept replaying the last time he had seen her in his mind, if there had been anything he should have noticed, anything obvious he had stupidly missed. How much weight can one even lose in one week? He checked Athena's pulse again. It felt a little unsteady. “How much longer, Aph?” “About 10 minutes.” She took a sharp left. Athena groaned softly and Ares steadied her. “Not much longer, Thena,” he murmured. “We're almost there.” She shifted, blinking sluggishly. “Ares?” “Yes? What's the matter? Does anything hurt?” She turned her head slightly, burying it against his shoulder. “Head..” He reached out to check her forehead. No fever, if anything too cold. “That's OK, you can have a painkiller soon, OK?” He had no idea whether they would actually give her a painkiller. Maybe she was too weak for it... His grip around her shoulders instinctively tightened and she flinched. “Did that hurt too?” he asked, alarmed. She didn't respond. “Athena?”

Yay update! I voice typed this completely over this afternoon, are you proud of me? I wanted to try the voice typing feature out with this story first because it doesn't have a deadline and therefore would make me less frustrated for being slow with it, though it does work decently well so I will be trying to do this for fighting to be loved as well.

I wanted to ask you about a grade scale.

In Poland, we our grades are from 1 to 6, 1 being the worst and 6 being the best. A couple of years ago, my friend told me that in Germany, it's the other way around (6 being the worst and 1 being the best)

Yes that's true. While there are big regional differences in the school system (srsly my friend from Northrhine Westphalia and me (Bavaria) find so many differences it's like a different country) I think that one is largely consistent across regions and the different school types, at least as far as I know.

Okay I realize I need to lengthen this a little for my little aside here XD. So in Germany, after elementary school there's (simplified) three options of secondary-schools that you can go to depending on how good your grades are. The longest and most academic type (It's called Gymnasium which is very ironic bc it sounds very smart but it's basic mislabeling, it has nothing to do with sports) but anyway where I live that type takes 9 years to get a degree and for the last couple of years it switches to a point system from 0 (you failed and you failed bad) to 15 (full score) which makes your final grade more exact (which. The final grade is rated from 1.0 (perfect) to 5.0 (you failed) I am aware this is stupidly confusing but hey, no one can say I don't answer comprehensively lol.) But I don't know if other regions have this too. Bavaria is like Germany's Texas, kinda infamous for being fucking weird. Either way up to 10th grade it's 1-6 like your friend said.
