i was supposed to go to the botanical gardens with two of my fave friends tomorrow & now all of a sudden after 2 weeks, the one who was driving decided they’re not coming. the other one has really bad driving anxiety, which is the same reason i can’t drive, so i can’t even be mad at her for not coming.

so now i either get to pay ~$100 for lyft just to go by myself, or just sit at home watching movies with my cat (again) for the last day of my week off.

i’m so fucking sick of living in this country, where every single day there’s some new traumatic event happening. this was literally the only thing i was looking forward to & i don’t even wanna go anymore. it’s suuuuuper fun to always be the one to get bailed on when you actually manage to shut your anxiety up long enough to even reach out to make plans.

my maintenance guy just told me to get blackout curtains bc my ceilings are too high for the AC to make any difference in my bedroom.

Recently, I put up some blackout curtains in my room to keep the heat out during the summer. And now my room is pitch black when I don’t have my light on, I am now affectionately calling my room the void. Which officially makes me a void creature. Also, I’ve been getting some seriously good sleep in this dark ass room so I will probably leave the curtains up year round.
