Well it’s more like, I know the movies aren’t the games, but Scott likes to use other media that isn’t directly canon to explain things. Like how the books are used to reference agony and remnant, which later get talked about in the games (also with the mimic stuff as well)

And it’s also like this repetition. We see the alligator mask in Happiest Day, then the books reference an alligator-masked boy, then we have Monty in sb, and now it’s confirmed that Monty existed at the same time as Fredbear in SOTM.

Same goes for Mr Hippo. We have the purple mask in Happiest day. Shows up as a character in pizza sim. Then he’s in SB. And then mystic hippo in HW2. And now he’s confirmed to be from the same era as Monty (and mystic hippo was also around that time as well!)

It’s less “oh this must mean this!” (Cuz I kno the movies like their references) and more like “weird that Scott likes to repeat this idea of the Gator or hippo being from older locations a lot”

You know what I mean? Why continue this trend on a fake script?

Honestly with confirmation that Roxy, Monty, and Mr Hippo existed around the time (or even before) Fredbear and Springbonnie, my thought that the fnaf 2 movie script with the carousel being the real one is just even more set in stone for me

Ngl I think katfanf was the only leaker with any sort of legitimacy (still dubious but they definitely knew at least some things) and now that they’re gone the people who were just repeating all the stuff they reported are making shit up out of desperation. So now we can only really wait, be patient, and check with official sources lol

I think you’re right, first official trailer dropping in August or September makes the most sense, so that’s probably what’ll happen.

Deducer HAS been correct in the past but it’s also sprinkled in with fake leaks. Hence why it’s a huge fat maybe (it’s most likely they just accept most leaks and don’t filter them)

I can only hope my own prediction is correct 🙏 I’m fine with waiting a little longer!

Springtrap has been officially revealed for Dead by Daylight!

The location will be inspired by the first film’s pizzeria and the alt legendary skin will be based on Springtrap’s movie version, including being modeled after and voiced by Matthew Lillard himself!

(Only the movie skin will be voiced by Matthew. PJ Heywood will voice default Springtrap)
